This place feels like it was originally designed and priced for adults, but it now caters almost entirely to children. I usually stick with Angry Birds since I don't really know how to play actual golf, but that's part of what makes Topgolf so enjoyable--you don't have to be good at golf to have a good time. There are silly little rules for everything. I can't stand that. When you pay over $100 for one person to play, the least they can do is leave you alone and allow you to play your game. This is Birmingham, there are great affordable courses everywhere available--courses who'll leave you alone and stay out of your head and allow you to play without stupid arbitrary rules.. but this ain't one of 'em.
