Ordered curbside. Order was correct, but wanted two pieces of white fish instead of one and no place on the app to change it online. Also had onion rings with it and ordered some cheesy fries appetizer. Both were cold. I was on time picking up my order and I live right in town less than 2 miles away.1st time I have been disappointed with this location. read more

Third time we've been here. Always get the ribeye and it is one of the best steaks (especially for the price) that I've had. We tried the salad bar this time too. Very good with lots of options. My son ate the rolls and said they were great, like homemade delicious baked bread. Will be coming back. read more

The salad bar is so yummy. Plus you get rolls and a special cinnamon butter. Lunch specials from 11-3 and early bird specials M-Th until 3 and all day Sunday. Limited menu but good food and enough choices to make everyone happy. Service with a smile with no wait. Country music playing in the background and rustic wood decor. read more

The food came out exactly as ordered. The server (Storm) checked on us as needed. It's not a fancy atmosphere but it's reliably good food!

it was messy, found a hair in my Mac and Cheese, and overpriced, but the food was good, service was nice, and the wait time wasn't that bad either. read more

Bad experience Father's Day 2026large group of people 20 or more seated beside us in Lagrange ky . Group was loud and kids were out of control running around the table in and out of the front door ! The manager did nothing place was loud waitress was under stress because of it service was very slow and some of our sides were wrong ! We just ate and got the hell out of there , food was great though!! We live in Lagrange but will most likely eat somewhere else !!! read more

Avoid if possible. Any of the other steak houses are better quality meat. Had to send 2 filets back for being really under cooked and when they came back they were ground hamburger meat. The salt and pepper were atrocious...enough to make your nose run. Sides, sub par. Mac n cheese was okay, with no seasoning. Mashed potatoes were nothing special. Salad bar had good choices, but watching a small boy walk by and cough on it turned us off. Staff was nice. read more

Check your "to-go" orders before you leave. I ordered the steak meal for my child who was at home. When we arrived, we realized the portion given was significantly less than we receive when dining in. He also complained that the steak was tough. We typically get good service and portions at this establishment. Just wanted to send a warning to check your order before leaving. read more

Good food.service was equal.yelp wants more to compete my review but that totally sums it up

Their bread as always is terrific and hard to pass up, but the buffalo bites for lunch and they were good. Had a little zip to them with the Tabasco sauce, but I finished them gladly. Keep in mind for certain pallets. All for $16 with tip. Good value. But the waitress was excellent. She is professional, on top of it, sharp. She improved my experience which was already good. Stopped in for a beer and an app. Lena was very attentive and sweet. The steaks in the past have been fantastic!

Food was awful. The whitefish was dry, over fried and tasteless. Fries were unseasoned and again over fried. Looks like they just keep reusing oil for frying. Salad bar was typical, nothing to write home about. Service was slow to bad. Never asked to refill drinks, though we had consumed them and were long gone 20 minutes before a waitress came to check on us, AFTER I waved her down. Finally got the check and left, not to return. Ridiculous for a 4:30 in the afternoon dinner when they were not busy at all! read more

Service was good, some of the food was acceptable. the chicken was bad as. the steak was smokey, the salad was good, mac-n-cheese was good. Also fries tasted weird. this wouldn't be one of the place I would eat at if I was starving. read more

We left before we were served. We were barely acknowledged by the bartender 15 minutes into being seated at a table. When she did finally ask what we "wanted" to drink, she did it as she was running past us and wasn't truly concerned because she commenced serving others who walked up after us. 10 more minutes later we walked. She did have time to look at her phone and flirt with a man at the bar though. The bar area was not busy at the time. read more

Used to love the LaGrange location and our favorite server (Brad) and were sad to move away. Took a recent trip back (Brad was off), and found the restaurant to be dirty, and service severely lacking. It was not busy and there was plenty of staff, but they were playing on their phones and goofing off, talking about how hard they work because as one girl put it, she's worked on her birthday. Meanwhile, all tables around us either had empty glasses or weee waiting on tickets for close to 30 minutes. On the positive side, the food was as good as we remembered. Just don't think we will make the drive back. read more

I'm pretty snobby when it comes to food. Typically don't eat in LaGrange, we usually head into Louisville for food, BUT tonight we went to Cattleman's (thanks for the gift cards grandpa) Our waiter Cory was so nice and provided great service. We had fresh drinks at the perfect time, you know right when your drink is getting to be watered down but you still have to much of it to ask for a refill. We started with the salad bar, which was clean and full of fresh ingredients and they have potato sticks, which I love. Husband and I both got steaks. Here I always order mine a step down, so I ordered medium rare, it was closer to medium but just what I wanted. Husbands got a ribeye and gave me a bite, it was cooked well and had a ton of flavor. We both got loaded baked potatoes that were really loaded up with cheese and butter. Potatoes were cooked just right. Since we got the salad bar and had rolls we didn't finish our dinner but have enough for another meal, which I'm always happy to have left overs. Overall food and drink were great, service was nice. If you're in LaGrange and don't want to head into Louisville Cattleman's is going to be your best choice for a steak dinner. Sorry for no pictures, I was so hungry I forgot. read more

We usually just go for the salad bar and sometimes I order a filet, however it is always cooked too rare for me. The service is the only think that keeps us from frequently dining here. The staff could use some training. During my most recent visit we were celebrating with a group of 10 on a Thursday evening. It was 9:30pm and we had just started eating dessert when the server came around and cleared everyones drink even though we were clearly not finished. read more

Cattleman's is the only steakhouse I know of with an old-school salad bar, and it is delightful. The steaks and entrees are perfectly acceptable if not remarkable, but for a steak and full salad bar experience, Cattleman's is the place to go. read more

By far one of the worst steak houses I have ever been to !! The service was amazing but the food was unseasoned and just plain bland ... Yes, pun intended.. the atmosphere made me feel very uncomfortable as a colored person I felt out of place. But overall the food was overpriced and quite frankly bad. I wouldn't recommend going here unless you have no choice in the matter. I hope your guy's experience is better than mine was !! read more

Cattleman's Roadhouse - Fried tomatoes, but they were bland and burned... Wouldn't recommend - Steakhouses Near Me - La Grange, Kentucky

The rolls tasted stale and they have little to no vegetarian options on the menu. They do have daily specials though and the steak is very good. the KY Marg was delicious, it was not crowded at all Monday at 8 pm, so we were seated right away. It's basically a knockoff Texas Roadhouse. It was quiet and an older crowd, country music was playing. Overall it's a decent stop! read more

We were driving through the area on a 12+ hour day trip. It's a easy on and off the interstate and appeared to be a nice sitdown place that would not be too pricey. The yelp food pictures also looked amazing. We were not disappointed. We were in and out in less than 40 minutes. Salad bar, steaks, vegetables, drinks; everything was really good. The salad bar was fresh and was not missing a thing. My husband sirloin was cooked to a perfect medium and has a texture more of a fillet than a sirloin. The service was excellent and the restrooms were clean. read more

Stopped here on the way down to someplace else. Found the service to be average. There were lots of ingredients on the salad bar which is what I ordered. Kind of meh. One member of our party ordered the sirloin and baked potato. Another member ordered the sirloin and mac'n cheese. Average price. Average food, but there was attentive service. The yeast rolls were really delicious. The bathroom was clean. Will not be back. read more

The last time I came here was good, but this time the waiter was taking way to long and not checking up on us and gave a single roll. The food was quick coming out, but very chewy like it wasn't done fully. They weren't busy so there was no need for our waiter to make sure everything was good. read more

Food was OK but it reminded me of every other chain steak restaurant I've ever been to in my life. They did have a nice salad bar from the looks of it, and the sweet potato with butter and brown sugar was very good. My husband ordered a fillet and I ordered a strip steak and honestly we couldn't tell the difference between them. He may as well saved the $20 and ordered the strip steak. We both ordered our steak medium but they really were more like medium well and his baked potato was very good. He did order an old fashion and it was very tasty. They were relatively busy for being a Friday night but we didn't have to wait very long to find a table and the waitress was very friendly. read more

Its a general steak house, has a salad bar, steer clear of the mixed drinks as each one so far has been a bust.

Excellent food at a good price. Server was attentive and very friendly. Eat here every time we are in LaGrange

The BB burger was great, better than Five Guys which makes great burgers. Perfect proportion of tomatoes, onion, lettuce, and BBQ sauce. The BBQ was very good on the burger and tasted great on its own. Meat patty was cooked medium rare like requested. Loaded mashed potatoes were great. Potato soup was good, a bit salty, but good. read more
