Most other toppings or flavored butters were $4 extra so it was nice nice to try one for free. Loaded baked potato side Large size and fully loaded with cheese, bacon, sour cream, and butter. Strawberry shortcake Complimentary dessert with a candle for the special occasion, which was a nice touch. This was easily the highlight of the entire meal. Perfect balance between cake and strawberry filling. The strawberries tasted fresh and had real sweetness rather than being overly syrupy. We split an heirloom tomato salad, and each still got two very large and thick slices of tomato, making the split a good sized salad for each of us. The balsamic pearls were a treat. An unexpected pleasure were the parker house rolls. Yum. Though between enjoying them, with the split salad, splitting the oysters, and the soup, we'd clearly over ordered! I was trying to the hostesses the benefit of the doubt. My daughter got online and made a reservation for 30 minutes out, as we all decided we really wanted to try Stoney River. We walked back in 5 minutes before our reservation. Now there were about 5 hostesses behind the counter. I could tell from their faces that they recognized us and a couple of them were whispering again. I walked up to the counter and gave them our reservation information and they said ok. While we were eating we saw them walking by the kitchen looking at us again. This was not a look as if they were checking on us. Our server was nice and did a good job.
