They won't get a penny out of me ever again.
Anthony D.

I used Cathay for many years. This time when I called, a woman answered & I asked for John, who I have delt with for many years. The woman asked me "Cash or Insurance?" I explained that I was going to try to figure out which if I could speak to John. She refused to alert him that I called & continued to ask me "Insurance or cash?". I explained that John always gives me a deal & he allows the van to wait for me an extra hour for $60.00 cash BOOM! She hung up while I was trying to explain to her. I called back because I thought we got disconnected & BOOM, she hung up again. I called one last time & asked for John & a guy answered, it wasn't John. So I said "That woman just hung up on me twice while I was trying to get John who schedules my trips all the time. He asked the same question of me "Cash or insurance?" So I started explaining to him & he hung up on me. His name started with an F I believe, he hung up on me too quick to hear when I asked "what's your name?". The old owners were Asian, and they had manners, respect etc.. That all went out the window with these new owners. was Frank. I will never use these people again. New rude owners. Attention Cathay, don't bother commenting & asking me to call so you can apologize & lie about what transpired. John has to call me personally, or NO ONE at all.

Highly recommend. Excellent service. Left a longer review on their Yelp page for the other location.

Terrible service. Not enough cars. Attitude over the phone. Lies by saying the transportation is coming.

DO NOT BOOK Big Ben Transportation for your wedding or any major event. My experience with them was…read morefrustrating from start to finish, and on the day of our wedding, their lack of organization caused unnecessary chaos for us and our guests. We reached out in late June to book two 55-person shuttles for our October wedding. The original quote was straightforward ($1,800 per bus, $3,600 total, with a $500 deposit). However, after signing, they never actually processed our deposit. I had to reach out repeatedly by phone and email just to verify that our reservation was actually secured. A week before the wedding, they sent a new invoice with unexpected mandatory tip and toll fees tagged on. We were originally told driver gratuity would be cash at our discretion based on service quality, so having a required tip forced onto the invoice right before the event felt like a bait-and-switch. Things got worse on the actual wedding day. While I was getting ready, one of the drivers called me, completely confused about the pickup schedule and unaware that the two buses had separate departure times. He didn't have the other driver's contact information or a radio to communicate with him. Because of their lack of coordination, several of our guests were left behind and had to order Ubers to the venue. The end of the night was an even bigger failure. Our contract explicitly stated that the shuttles would make a stop at a local bar for our after-party, which was directly on the route to the hotel and less than a minute away, and that one bus would do a second loop to pick up remaining guests. Instead, both drivers completely bypassed the after-party stop and refused to turn around or go back for the second trip. Myself, my partner, and a huge chunk of our guests were stranded at the venue and forced to scramble for Ubers at the end of our wedding night. They eventually refunded around $1,000, but that essentially just wiped out the surprise "tip" they forced onto us and a fraction of the fare. A partial refund doesn't make up for leaving a bride, groom, and their guests stranded after being paid thousands of dollars. Save yourself the headache and go with a company that actually honors its contracts.

I recommend them to anyone needing a safe, comfortable, and efficient ride to and from the city. On my most recent trip, I accidentally left the vehicle without my phone when being dropped off at LGA. I knew I'd left it the minute I entered the airport. I immediately panicked - and looked up the WiroLimo number from my husband's phone. Our driver William answered and said he discovered my phone and was already making his way back around to the terminal. He pulled up, handed me the phone, and assured me that if personal belongings were left behind in their vehicles, they would do everything possible to return items to their clients. I was so very grateful, and it is one of the many reasons I've used them for so long and will continue to do so. Thank you!! Tammy L.

On the website there's no option to email or request a quote, just a link to "book now" that requires you to enter your credit card info, with no indication what the rates are or what the cancellation policy is. There is a list of rates for airports and sports venues, but I guess they don't want you to know what they'll charge for more complicated itineraries. Ridiculous.

I never quite understand how some people would still choose to litter despite there's literally a trash can right next to you. Dirty tracks littered with garbage as usual. Didn't see a family of rats running on the tracks though. Hahaha, already considering myself lucky today. The newest thing you'll probably see out of the station is the signage indicating the station's name. There's dried up paint peeling off from the cracked walls. Nothing like some sad, dull-looking walls facing you as if this is how an unwelcome hello feels like lol. Surprisingly, there isn't much garbage to be found on the ground. Every few steps you'll see a random piece of paper or some kind of used tissue. I am not saying it is 100% spotless but definitely not the dirtiest either. Not sure if I was expecting garbage to be littered everywhere or something. On the bright side, I peer from the corner of my eye and see that there are the women's and men's restrooms. Now, don't be expecting these restrooms to be too clean though (iykyk). Definitely do consider yourself to be lucky if you still happen to see some toilet paper left over in your stall and the toilet seat to be free of pee stains. The inside of the E trains is surprisingly clean. Can also say the same for the inside of the J/Z trains as nonelook too shabby either. The platforms for E/J/Z trains look spotless. Besides its sorta new looking signage, the only other uplifting thing is the vibrant center art-piece plastered on the wall. It's a bit out of place but in a positive way. As you can see from the rest of the dull-scheme station, it looks awfully sharp especially how new and colorful it seems. The flash of color brings/pops out a distinctive, outstanding comparison.

Back in the days, in my youth, I could travel underground blindfolded nowadays , assistance with navigating is needed. Heck do you know how long I've been above ground or driving. Try 1993 when I moved out of NYC. When I came back a decade later I was driving. So I looked around and saw a whole heap of stairs and an escalater coming up. "Say my man, is there an elevator." I had to use my street vernacular, I still got it! He directed me across the street. I'm now in the train station , I confidently hopped on the first escalator, I went down to the wrong level and had to come back up to the second level. Of course asking for assistance.
