This company was assigned for my mother's doctor appointment, and I was initially very weary…read morebecause of past experiences with other transportation companies not showing up. However, Cathay showed up as scheduled, and the gentlemen who arrived were very courteous, professional, and careful with my mother. Dispatch was also very responsive prior to the arrival. I will say that they almost had to cancel the ride because they were unable to communicate with the insurance company. In my opinion, the patient shouldn't have to be inconvenienced by an issue like that. Once the service is booked, the details should already be finalized between the transportation company and the insurance provider. On the return trip from the appointment, it appeared that dispatch had provided the drivers with a different address, which caused a slight delay. Thankfully, the driver called to confirm the correct address, and the issue was quickly resolved. Overall, I want to thank Units 154 and 151 for providing such pleasant and courteous service. Despite the minor issues, I appreciate their professionalism and would consider using Cathay again for future appointments.
