Great catfish. Superbly dredged and fried, crispy and non-greasy. Service was pretty good. I was there for an early dinner so it could have been a bit more attentive. Hush puppies were wonderful. I'll admit I was a little hesitant to try this place because of the review mentioning the fake Hitler quote. Just not the kind of thing I want to see at a restaurant. But I did not see this when we visited. Not sure if I missed it (though I did look) or if they've moved or removed it. Anyway, regarding everything else: The restaurant itself is very simple - think "diner." It's very clean with comfortable seating. You order at the front, then they bring your order to you. We each ordered a small catfish dinner, which comes with 5 pieces of catfish, fries or baked potato, cole slaw, green tomato relish, 3 hushpuppies, and tartar sauce for $10.50. That is a lot of food for about $10.50! I ordered sweet tea and he ordered unsweet. I got the fries while he opted for a baked potato. The lady who took our order was very friendly. It's a "seat yourself" establishment so we sat at a booth. A young lady brought out our drinks, the tomato relish, and sour cream and butter for the baked potato. The rest of our food came out in about 3 minutes.. I will say that the fries were nothing special. Hot, fresh, and salted well (not over or under salted), but definitely frozen from a bag. The baked potato was a baked potato. Everything else, though, oh man! The catfish is obviously the star of the show and it was perfect. Nice and crispy, tender and flaky on the inside, and seasoned well enough that I liked it even without tartar sauce. The green tomato relish was the perfect blend of tart and sweet. The cole slaw was very fresh and dressed perfectly. I'll admit that I usually prefer hushpuppies with corn, onion or jalapenos or something else in it and these were "just" fried balls of dough. But oh so perfect! Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, a bit sweet, and not too greasy. I see a couple of reviews commented on the pre-made packets of tartar sauce, but we received little plastic solo cups. Not sure if it's "house made" or if they buy it, but it was good and definitely not watered down. My only real complaint is that the "small" dinners we ordered are huge and I couldn't even eat it all, even after stuffing myself. I think for future visits we'll split a large dinner and just order extra hush puppies and tomato relish. read more

It's really hard to find good catfish around here. Most places that do have it, it has a bad muddy flavor. This place, however, uses farm raised catfish which is extremely clean and the service is excellent. I made myself sick in a good way as I could not get enough of the wonderful home made meal. Excellent catfish. We'll be back! Not everything was as good as the catfish, there are a couple of things that could be improved. First and most important...make your own tarter sauce!! It;s easy and makes a BIG difference. If you want unique, let me know I have a really special sauce. Prepackaged Kraft sauce is an insult to your wonderful fish! The beans and green tomato relish are wonderful, the slaw is just OK as are the hush puppies. Service was quick and friendly, the restaurant was clean and comfortable. We were born and raised in Southeast Missouri on the Mississippi River, and we know good catfish when we taste it. Yum! The pickled green tomato relish was a treat. Came here at 11:45 for lunch. Catfish was just ok. Nothing special or out of the ordinary. Hush puppies were hard and cold. Fries were also cold and rubbery. Tomato relish tasted very good but tomatoes were also very hard. Cole slaw was not very good at all. Cabbage was soft and rubbery and very bland. Might try them again if I'm driving by but won't make a special trip like I did today. read more

Gave three stars because of my parents. They love this place. Can't understand why. I don't eat catfish unless it's fresh river caught. The farm raised catfish is atrocious. Tastes like mud. But I digress the burgers here are flavorless and dry. I also think that they are overrated and overpriced. Even my parents have mentioned the price of late. The best place around here for a super good meal. The catfish is lightly tossed in corn meal and fried to perfection. The hush puppies are the only ones I've had and loved. All the little extras that come with the meal makes it all even better. And the pinto beans are awesome! A three piece meal and it's a lot! Hard to finish.....but I do my best!!! . If you like Catfish this is the place to go in Rogers. It appears to be very clean and the people working are friendly and do a good job taking care of their customers. You order at the counter when you come in then they bring your food and drink to the table. The food is nothing to write home about but is good. Fish pieces are big and meaty and come out nice and hot but seem to be a bit bland. Fries are frozen not fresh cut but are still good. HushPuppies are just plain fried cornbread, they could use some onion in them before cooking. I'm not a big fan of slaw and still not :). With that said when I'm in Rogers and have a craving for catfish this is where I would come. Oh and the prices are very reasonable. read more

This is by far the best catfish restaurant in the area! The catfish is perfect every time with great hush puppies, fries, and coleslaw. Large portions and low prices make the experience even better! Add in Some good ole southern hospitality and what you get is a locally owned restaurant with a well earned great reputation. I love this place and recommend it to anyone looking for some great Southern comfort food. I have been eating here for years and have never been let down. The lunch prices are around what you would pay for a "value" meal at McDonald's but with much better quality food. They even have a drive thru. read more
