We had a quote for the mantel from another company which was three times as much. The work was completed quickly and we did not have to wait long between the time I contacted them and the completion of the work. The bid was given promptly and the work completed swiftly. They also cleaned carefully at the end of each day. The owner, Cole Bernardel, was communicative, had good suggestions and is friendly, professional and easy to work with. They will be our first call for our next project. In contrast, our second floor remodel has taken 10 months, and it has been difficult to get them to complete the work, with many days going by with no one being here. I am so glad we found Proof Construction and Remodel.

I have used Tony from AMC Custom Tile for three separate jobs now…read more He supplied and installed my kitchen counter tops during a recent kitchen remodel. Prices were more reasonable than other providers that I had priced. From estimate to finished product was very quick. Work was top notch. Have had one small problem, several months later, that was corrected the day after I reported it, at no charge. He also contracted two bathroom total remodels, taking care of every aspect of demolition, tile installation, vanity, fixtures, drywall, and plumbing. He will refer you to supply houses that are all in the Lenexa area to select your materials. He'll take it from there. As any remodel of an older house, we ran into several issues along the way. All were presented to me, with options to get around that hurdle. I have been more than happy with the way all work looks and functions. I got an expensive looking spa-like bathroom for a price you can deal with. All workers were careful to lay floor protection where they tracked and left your home as clean as possible each day upon leaving. Being respectful and keeping you informed along the way, helps ease your mind that the job is getting done right. They had to answer hundreds of questions from me, as the job progressed, which they did with patience. I dont think you would be disappointed in their work. Check out the website for example photos!

We recently used AMC Custom Tile for our first major remodel job inside our home... our master…read morebath. Tony Cirrintano had been recommended to us by our plumber, and we are so glad we chose to go with his company. From the first moment we began to work with him, he was so honest and helpful. He didn't try to push us to invest more money in the job than we wanted to, but he gave us all of the information about the available products and helped guide us to our decision. We relied on his professional opinion of which tile would look the best and felt total confidence that he was experienced enough to know which ones would work and which ones wouldn't. Words cannot express how pleased we are with AMC's work. It is perfection! We cannot find one thing to complain about! Our shower is absolutely beautiful....like something you would find in a spa resort! All of Tony's recommendations turned out to be so much better than anything we could have come up with on our own. The two employees that came to do the tile work were so friendly and respectful of us and our home. We felt totally comfortable having them come into our house everyday while we were away at work. After work, we always came home excited to see what they had done that day. As we saw the job coming together, we were amazed at their level of expertise. Everything was laid down perfectly and the tile pattern was immaculate. If I could give Tony and AMC 100 stars, I would. They were THAT good!

This review is an update from my previous book-length explanation of why Alin Zahan is a fraud. We…read morehired a reputable cabinet company to look at our kitchen cabinets and recommend the best (and least invasive) way to correct Artisan's (and Alin's) inferior work. They initially recommended removing the facings only, but unfortunately, they will have to remove at least half of the cabinets because there are too many flaws and the staining work is too inferior. The painter/stainer looked at our cabinets and said (and I quote): "This is a half-ass job, and I can't match the stain and wouldn't want to try because of the inferior work." Also, the Artisan amateurs rigged the cabinet hinges with wooden shims and the Butler's pantry hinges with cardboard shims to make them work (SEE pictures). If this type of rigging doesn't seem amateurish, I don't know what does.

Alin was present through the entire process. He answered questions, was proactive in scheduling his crew and had our project completed on time and within budget. We will hire KC Remodels again and again. Remodel projects are a two-way street. They require transparency, open communication and respect. This was 100% our experience with Alin and his entire crew.

I called for a bid and he was out within three hours and he started construction less than 24 hours later and completed the job within three days. Talk about fair and honest and someone who keeps appointments and answers you back within three minutes with a text. Just overwhelmed with the service we received in the remodel. We highly recommend. We got several recommendations from friends and neighbors, listened to several proposals and got some bids and decided on Green River Roofing. These guys are great. Dennis, the owner, was involved in the entire process. We received the most comprehensive estimate from his company, very detailed. It was also very resonable compared to several of the other companies. We were able to add in some extras, like insulation and a solar tube (he also does gutters, but we had already replaced them when we moved in). The workers were quick, the entire roof was done in under 3 days. They cleaned up the outside completely- we only found 1 set of nails left behind. Dennis thought that the plaster in our master bath had gotten cracked from the workers during the install and so he had his drywall team come in and repair our ceiling and repaint it at no cost to us. We payed 1/2 on the first day, most of the rest on the final day of installing the roof and the final payment after his drywall guys finished fixing our master bath. I've recommend him to my Dad and he hired him to replace a few roofs and do guttering on his rental houses and was equally impressed with Dennis. So if you are in need of a new roof, guttters, siding, windows or a new deck - call these guys and get an estimate. You won't be disappointed.

Our timeline was short and we needed great results in little time. We communicated this to Mike on several occasions. The initial consultation, planning, and quote was fantastic. We were so very excited to have the job completed. However, when the week came to install the new cabinets, tragedy struck. We called Mike on several occasions attempting to confirm the installation date. He was non-committal, passive, and refused to give us a final date. We finally decided to call and tell him we must have an install date from him. Rather than handing the situation properly, Mike's attitude turned on a dime. He became aggressive, inappropriate, and rude. He made excuses, blamed others, and outright lied to us. After multiple conversations begging him to give us an answer, he quit answering his telephone. He wouldn't return voicemails nor answer our calls. We resorted to calling on alternate phone numbers (from work, other cell phones, etc) just to get him to answer our calls. In his attempt to avoid us, he went as far as to hang up on us when we called asking for an answer. Despite our timeline being blown, Mike's rudeness / lying / imappropriate behavior, and an everlasting poor impression of Mike and Cabinet Reface... we had him finish the job. The installation went fine. Not to our surprise, he was more than happy to ask for his paycheck the second it was done. Ultimately, if he would have been honest with us the moment he knew it wasn't going to be done in time, we would not have cared. If he would have just been honest, it would have prevented so much pain. Bottom Line: FIND SOMEONE ELSE! Mike has no sense of customer service, manners, or caring. The product we received certainly was NOT worth what we experienced, knowing we could have received the same results from many other companies. FIND SOMEONE ELSE!!!!!!
