I hired DHI Roofing a year ago to repair hail damage to my home. The nightmare continues to this…read moreday. Client communications has been continuously problematic. Currently they are non-responsive. The roof replacement went well. Gutter replacement was okay. Siding replacement has been a nightmare. The first crew did such a horrid job that DHI had to tear the siding off and install it again. The second crew put a nail through electrical wiring that knocked out power to our internet box. When I turned on my air conditioning I found that they likely also put a nail into my in-wall coolant line which I am having repaired next week for nearly $4000. I cannot confirm until they rip it out to the wall, but a small hole I cut in the wall had a new nail just an inch from the line (and nowhere near a stud where it should be). I reached out to my project manager, Casey Jolley, 3 days ago and no reply. I reached out to his manager, Manny Santos, also and no reply. I called the main office this morning and they could not put me through to anyone I could discuss the issue with. They promised me 6 to 7 weeks ago that the garage doors would be replaced in 3 weeks. Nothing. Not a word from them. Other minor repairs that could have been completed in the past year are still not done.

Hunter drew up the plans based on our specs on his iPad. We were able to select the materials, colors and the full plan. There was also an agreement drawn up that protected both us and his company. This was a great way to build trust and peace of mind that the project would be completed on time. We also needed a gate added to our chain link fence on one side of the House. I wanted a double gate, and I wanted to use some of the materials that I already had from a previous project. Hunter drew up the plans for the gate, and the price was much less than we expected. We were very impressed that we wouldn't have to wait until next year for these projects to be completed, as most contractors were booked out that far. We are extremely satisfied with the way everything turned out. We use our deck every day, and our dog loves sitting in bed and looking out the sliding door to see what's going on. Now we can just let her out the door instead of walking across the length of the house to let her out to do her business. Both Hunter and his crew were extremely professional. They always cleaned up after themselves every day they were here. The work was done with care and attention to detail. The house was a 1970's cedar log house kit home that had a vaulted tongue & groove cedar wood decking that was also the ceiling. Owner Jeff came out and was quick to spot challenges with the unique construction that others had not noticed. After meeting him I was confident that he knew what he was doing. Jeff and his son (also named Jeff) both worked together on this project. They were meticulous with everything and the job looks wonderful. While there, they did a thorough inspection of my roof, patched a few spots, and replaced some wind damaged shingles. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that this roof didn't need replaced yet and it has a lot of life left. Honesty and integrity like this is so rare these days! I just recently hired them again to replace the entire roof on my primary home. This roof was well beyond its life expectancy and needed a lot of work. Well, it looked pretty awful until yesterday, when Mr. Craig showed up and patched all of the larger holes. He did it in a few hours at a price I arranged in advance.
