Hunter drew up the plans based on our specs on his iPad. We were able to select the materials, colors and the full plan. There was also an agreement drawn up that protected both us and his company. This was a great way to build trust and peace of mind that the project would be completed on time. We also needed a gate added to our chain link fence on one side of the House. I wanted a double gate, and I wanted to use some of the materials that I already had from a previous project. Hunter drew up the plans for the gate, and the price was much less than we expected. We were very impressed that we wouldn't have to wait until next year for these projects to be completed, as most contractors were booked out that far. We are extremely satisfied with the way everything turned out. We use our deck every day, and our dog loves sitting in bed and looking out the sliding door to see what's going on. Now we can just let her out the door instead of walking across the length of the house to let her out to do her business. Both Hunter and his crew were extremely professional. They always cleaned up after themselves every day they were here. The work was done with care and attention to detail. The deck is sturdy, attractive and we've gotten many compliments from friends and neighbors! I will definitely continue to work with Boyt Home Improvement for future projects - and I'll recommend them to anyone needing projects completed around the house.

Any items missed or we felt needed touched up were addressed. The house was left clean when the job was done. He's guided by his religion too. Take that for what you will. But, it's pretty easy to hurt people then ask for forgiveness in the sorry box. They low balled me on the numbers left on my door. There's NO WAY anyone could paint my house for the $5,750 quoted...with an additional discount of $1,500, so $4,250. I had over 10 quotes 4 years ago. The price they quoted on their flier was less than half of the lowest quote I got 4 YEARS AGO. Run, do not walk from this group. I trust what I flushed this morning better.

Even after several calls and requests to modify a simple door replacement quote he showed up the day of the install with the wrong quote information. This was for a small project as a test run for a bigger project we are planning on doing. All I can say at this point is there's no way we would work with them again. The total lack of follow up and lack of communication is unacceptable when it comes to consumer affairs. The only reason they get 1 star is for the understanding carpenters that did a nice job.

The repair required their crew to remove my metal railing and composite decking. This was a major repair as my deck is 17 X 31 and 10 feet off the ground. They also did great at protecting our home from the dust and debris of the job and then did a thorough clean up when the project was done.
