They are exquisite. Just recently my rattan set was recovered. Not only did they do an excellent job with the cushions, they replaced the saggy webbing on the sofa and chair. Beautiful. Yesterday I had them take my recliner for recovering. Why recover instead of buy new? My furniture is solid and comfortable. I like its structure and the way it feels. I know what I have. No, it's not cheap. It comes to about what you would pay for new, but the furniture made 25-30 years ago is a whole lot different that what is offered now. Plus I hate shopping and making decisions. Who did I deal with? The third generation in this amazing place - Megan Dunbar. Her personal attention to detail, suggestions and knowledge are refreshing. She brought lots of sample books to my home and had a patient and sweet manner as I looked and finally found what I liked. I highly recommend this business. An Independence, Missouri customer

MARK at TRUMARK homes is a simply an unscrupulous dishonest builder. I'm going to expand on my…read moreexperience. I had my house under contract in a different state planning to move to Missouri . After my home I was selling had gone under contract and inspection completed I decided it was time to find the new home in missouri to move to. I found a Trumark home I liked and put a contract on it with a CONTINGENCY IN THE CONTRACT THAT STATES MY HOME I HAD UNDER CONTRACT AND WAS SELLING HAD TO CLOSE OR I COULD CANCEL THE CONTRACT WITH TRUMARK AND GET MY EARNEST MONEY BACK . Well four days before I was supposed to close on the home I was selling the buyers financing fell thru and the home I was selling did not close. My realtor immediately contacted Trumarks Realtor and supplied them with the proper documentation PER THE CONTRACT to cancel the contract and return my earnest money PER THE CONTINGENCY STATED IN THE CONTRACT. Trumarks Realtor immediately said Mark with Trumark would be back in a week as he was out of town and would return the money when he returned. Trumarks relator immediately re-listed the Trumark house for sale that same day before signing the paperwork of cancellation and returning my money. I had been under contract with Trumark NINE DAYS TOTAL when I canceled. I did everything by the book PER THE CONTRACT to cancel....... Yet Trumark REFUSED to acknowledge the contracts CONTINGENCY that stated my home I was selling and that was under contract MUST CLOSE or I could cancel and get my earnest money back. My lawyer wrote them two letters and they still refused . I also contacted the Attorney General in Missouri who suggested to take them to small claims court. Trumark had their own lawyer send a letter to my lawyer suggesting I just changed my mind and decided not to move . Those statements were complete false lies and was furthest from the truth. I have a very serious illness and my family is all back in Missouri where they could help me because of my health issues which is the purpose I need to move. I was very upset my buyer could not get his final financing approved to buy the home I was selling. BUT the fact was I had a contingency PERIOD! My realtor argued with Trumark telling them they cannot just ignore the contingency of the contract stating of my home must CLOSE or I could cancel. They were determine to keep my 6000.00 that did not belong to them. ALSO this builder co -mingles your earnest money with his own general funds instead of putting it in an escrow account with a title company where it should be . This means he has complete control of the money in his hands and can keep it and not follow a contract if he chooses just like he did me to then make you have to hire lawyers to fight him to get it back. Earnest money should always be put in an escrow a count with the title company holding . That way if there is a dispute this sort of thing does not happen. Never in all my life of buying and selling homes have I had someone be so unscrupulous and crooked to simply ignore the legal contract of a contingency like this man did at Trumark. I am a disabled women with lupus that struggles severely with my health and this has left me with a bad taste in my mouth of humanity I however will be moving back and not let this crook deter me. I PERSONALLY COULD NEVER RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS BUILDER AFTER HE KEPT OVER 6000.00 THAT DID NOT BELONG TO HIM. IF HE COULD GET LESS THAN ONE STAR THAT IS WHAT I WOULD GIVE HIM .

We attempted to talk with the builders own realtor, Brian, of Legacy Wood, and my husband and I were yelled at and talked to like idiots. Brian Wood tried to ensure us it's humidity and he knows because, "I've sold 250 houses". Brian Wood representing out 438,000 Trumark home on behalf of Mark Yancik and Legacy Wood also told us one of the several defects we noted was trim carpenters choice and the paint guy would fix the cracked cabinets- there were more than 1. Thankfully, we were able to figure something else out before our current house closes in 10 days, however these crooks felt they were entitled to our $2,500 earnest money because Mark Yancik Trumark owner- was confident he could tear out the walls and sheet rock and have everything fixed within 10 days! Stay away from Trumark Homes and stay away from Brian Wood and Legacy Wood altogether
