My friend and I, both handicapped women of a certain age (60's), are longtime cannabis users, but usually feel like we are bothering the budtenders, often young hot girls in tank tops that don't know much about what they are selling. I'm sure the young male customers are happy anyway, but we generally spend $3-400, and would like to be helped by someone who has a clue about their products and the medical benefits. At catalyst, we had Ray helping us, and greatly appreciated his patience and knowledge, and that went a long way towards improving our experience. The place is really pretty inside, and has a ton of different products and strains. I specifically went for a product they have that my husband and daughter (not cannabis users) both swear by for pain, Papa and Barclay Releaf Balm, and it was on sale, although they give a generous 20% discount to veterans and handicapped customers on non-sale items, so if they continue to stock it I will buy it here. I took away one star because they do not allow customers to use a rest room, and we had driven a distance to get there, an hour before closing there were no open businesses in the area, which turned out to be a dicey neighborhood. A fight broke out between multiple people in the Walgreens parking lot across the street. Daytime visits might be a better idea - there was no security person posted outside while we were there. read more

Been here a couple times. Sales clerk Amber was so nice and helpful with getting me some medicinals for shingles. Made recommendations of different types of cannabis and an ointment, and they helped tremendously. Only thing that helped me get through pain. The pain was intense and the cannabis was literally the only thing that made it bearable and allowed me to sleep. I just wish we could request same sales clerk to assist. I've been to Catalyst on three separate occasions. On my first visit, I had a great experience and purchased some great quality flower product. On my second visit, I arrived before closing time and was literally the last customer let inside the building right before they cutoff walk-ins for closing. Unfortunately, all of the options I had in mind were sold out and I was left purchasing under pressure from the budtender as he was enforcing a strict policy of not being able to legally ring up customers after a certain time. It seemed a bit unprofessional as I had an idea of what I wanted and had to reconsider due to the availability. However, I understand that at the end of the night, the available stock is what it is. I didn't let the second visit prevent me from returning as I've always felt like I've gotten my money's worth, product wise. On my latest and third visit, I came in the early evening and while my first choice was unfortunately sold out, my second choice was available (for a bit more money), and I purchased the flower I wanted. The budtender handed off my order to a cashier and I proceeded to pay with card as I only had as much cash as I initially expected to spend. The cashier told me that the transaction had failed as her card-reader device had died due to low battery. They assured me the transaction did not go through. I proceeded to insert my card again and checked out normally and headed home happy with good product. I looked at my bank statement and there was only one charge of approximately $60. About a week later, I noticed there was a duplicate on the same date that appeared for another $60. I attempted to reach out to Catalyst via the phone a couple of times and was both left on hold and promised a callback. After waiting a week for a callback and attempting to reach out to them one more time, I decided to claim the duplicate charge to my bank. Be careful! Unfortunately, I would only return to Catalyst with cash. However, even planning to pay with cash accordingly sucks if you don't carry extra and they happen to "run out" of the strain you had in mind, which displays "in stock" online while sold out in the store. read more

I'm a frequent customer and the last few times I've had the worst experience with budtenders and it's made me go back to stiiizy for my weed. This last time with "Mikhail F" was especially unpleasant. I asked for a straight indica like I always do and he insisted that Sativa and indica don't mean anything and I've been smoking for 14 years and definitely know what I like. I asked for a top shelf and he was trying to push a mid shelf strain on me. He told me that what I purchased was indica and when I got home it said Sativa on the container. I am not happy and won't be returning for a while if ever. Budtenders that are hired should know the difference between indica and Sativa and at least know that there is a difference between the two. read more

I walked in and stood in line and this guy with tattoos and wears make-up helped me. If I knew his name I'd say it but he was just rude. I looked at their selection of a certain brand and asked if there was any other strains that were previously there because what if they're just showcasing what's new and still offer the older varieties, but instead of saying "we don't have them anymore" or just a simple "no" he says to me, "Does it look like they're there?" Like dude, are you serious? I get it's often a stupid question but you don't have to be like that. That was just so apparent to make me feel stupid for asking. He helps me at the register and asks me if I'm okay because I "seem aggravated." The unbelievable thing is he didn't greet me or anything or even a smile, which he's not my slave and shouldn't HAVE to greet me or smile, but that's usually an indicator someone isn't in a great mood. I told him I'm just trying to get in and out but I should have told him I didn't appreciate the way he spoke to me. He doesn't need to be friendly to me, but that was just not pleasant at all. This place is a 3 at best. The no airpods and no phone calls rule makes sense for safety, but just adds to the negative feel. I always feel like I'm at my friends place when I go to Stiiizy. The people are nice and always are cool to talk to. Catalyst felt different which was appealing, but I think I'm gonna start going back to Stiiizy read more

Solid place to go. I am commenting this time because Erika was my budtender this day and she (I didn't ask pronouns; please forgive me if I am offensive) really came through. So this being started off with a staff member calling me up to the online register and then ignoring me and continuing to proceed with another activity or task when he should've waited to call me up to the counter and then addressed me after the fact. Also The staff and manager included at this dispensary are very rude and condescending when they have errors and issues on their website instead of being respectful and honoring the customers they speak to you in a very condescending manner and don't wanna honor anything that they posted on their own website and talk to you like you're stupid or you're the one that's wrong because you identify that they have a problem on their page and the way that they do business. It's the fact that you have men speaking to women disrespectfully thinking that they're entitled to speak to women however they want with their machismo and poor customer service it's the condescending tone.
