Terrible experience with Dr. Loomer…read more I saw him as a new patient back in November. I had been having joint pain and inflamed lymph nodes. The referring practitioner had ordered labs that indicated abnormal values for; ANA, sed rate, and rheumatoid factor. Dr Loomer + assistant ignored these labs, even though I made sure the clinic had received them and brought them up during the visit. After a quick visual exam of my hands and feet, Dr. Loomer said verbatim, "I don't think you have RA. I think, you think, you have RA." My mind was blown and my jaw literally dropped open. The PA in the room did not offer any advocacy on my part, she was a silent witness. He declined to answer my questions about other auto immune conditions, and said condescending, "I think you want a second opinion. Do you want to get another opinion?" He made sure to stipulate that I wasn't allowed to see another doctor in that office- then swiftly the room, while my jaw was still on the floor. Absolutely flabbergasted. That policy is a red flag, it protects bad doctors and is a barrier to care. I went to my car and cried. Then went back to the office to advocate for myself. I'm a young woman who has worked in healthcare, and felt that if I was obviously erroneously dismissed - who else is not receiving the standard of care? I spoke with a sweet medical assistant, bless her, and explained what happened - and that, based on my lab values, I had expected to be referred for additional testing, and I was so upset by how this doctor had dismissed me, talked down to me, and medically gaslit me. She said she would escalate the issue. The next day she called me back and what do you know? Dr. Loomer DID look at my intake info properly and actually did recommend me for additional testing and a follow up. Obviously, I declined. I'm sorry to this MA for having to clean up the mess of a professional doctor. After this discouraging experience, I found a wonderfully curious and intelligent doctor in Dr. Redford at TMC. He explained ALL my referring labs to me, said that what was going on WAS NOT NORMAL. And started me immediately on treatment. Additional testing confirmed my diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis. His treatment and care was exactly what I had expected in the first place. P.S. after such an unsavory meeting with Dr L, I googled him to find out more. He is Laura Loomer's dad. Had I know this prior to seeing him, I'd have kept far away. I hope this helps someone!

Today, I hit a snag--traffic was backed up due to an accident, and I arrived just five minutes late. To my surprise, I was told I couldn't be seen today. It felt a bit unfair, considering my track record of arriving early and patiently waiting. Additionally, the receptionists seem a bit abrupt and lacking in engagement, which adds to the experience. I will be changing to another doctor at banner

She gave me Azithromiacin and took a chest xray. She told me he would see the results and contact me. The next day I saw the xray came back PNEUMONIA, BOTH LOWER LOBES. I assumed Dr Martinez would call me because I wasn't doing any better. I left a message, and I couldn't get a response from him.But a young, under qualified "assistant " i told me to let them know in three days if I didn't feel any better. Lucky for me, I knew something was terribly wrong, and then so we went immediately to the ER. The PNEUMONIA had set off SEVERE AFIB. My heart rate was 180 bpm for FIVE DAYS! EIGHT PEOPLE we're waiting on me in the ar trying to and they were working out those deep make sure I didn't die. Not ONE WORD from a Martinez!! I ended up with TWO CARDIOVERSIONS & have to wear a cardiovest for THREE MONTHS! I'm taking MANY DRUGS to let's try and keep my heart at a proper rhythm. I NOW HAVE HEART DAMAGE! Overall, I think Dr Martinez has gotten arrogant. He and his wife are involved in real estate investments. Maybe he should just skip being a doctor before someone not as lucky as me, DIES!

I am completely convinced that my health and the life I have been living for all these years have been greatly enhanced by having Dr. Judy as my doctor. I originally consulted with her when I was in my 30's and I was being treated for infertility with a Fertility Specialist in Tucson. I had had several courses of IVF and massive amounts of hormones and drugs which left me very ill. The fertility treatments also, unfortunately, created multi benign uterine tumors and profuse bleeding which resulted in a full hysterectomy. My surgeon left me with one ovary which he said, "oh one ovary is as good as two ovaries". I immediately when into menopause. Dr Judy tested my hormones and declared "you have the estrogen of an 80-year-old woman". She set up a protocol for bioidentical hormones which I still take. The other very important protocol she advised was a detoxification of the hormones I had taken during the fertility treatments. These hormones may lead to serious illness in the future, and I was very fatigued after years of exposure to the drugs. It took several months of detoxing through herbs, clean diet, colon hydrotherapy, steam rooms and massage. When I completed it, I literally felt better than I had felt in my entire life! I am not exaggerating! Throughout the years I check in with Dr. Judy twice a year or so. As we age and go through our lives different maladies crop up and our bodies change. She analyzes my blood work and sometimes derives very different conclusions than my PCP. She is so knowledgeable about the interplay of the numbers and ratios. She then offers support for these issues through dietary changes, lifestyle changes, and supplements. I am 65 years old now and take no pharmaceutical drugs. Another sweet benefit with having all this care for me is that I look young! People guess I am 10-15 years younger. Of course, I highly recommend Dr. Gianni for her medical acumen, but she is also a kind and wise woman. Her staff are also kind and caring in their interactions, which makes for a enhanced experience.

Dr. Gianni is amazing and very knowledgeable. She has helped my family and I for many years.read more

I highly recommend Dr DeVille to anyone seeking an alternative to today's conventional healthcare…read moresystem. If you can afford it, do it. Dr DeVille was "the doctor" who diagnosed me with Lyme disease (missed by Mayo and Banner). This... after almost twelve years of "crickets," debilitating autoimmune co-infections and unprofessional comments from previous doctors (it's in your head... your labs are normal...). Dr DeVille goes above and beyond in seeking the causes, and even the effects that seem to plague many of us today. Do NOT be affraid to ask questions!! She's also a great educator in all things health. Am I cured? Lyme isn't curable, but it and its co-infections are highly manageable now. Her staff has been beefed up and are spot on with their assistance! I appreciate all that they do! ** YES people, there may be a 2-3 month wait, so ask to be put on the cancellation list! This is a private practice and is like a specialty referral so take a deep breath. Key items. Labs. Ask always if/where to get prior to. Be flexible and open to what she suggests. Ask for alternatives in pharmacies, etc. There may be upfront costs. Again, she is considered as a private provider vs conventional/traditional healthcare provider. Lastly... she does zoom style calls if needed. That's a huge plus!!
