The menu is mostly the same with a few new additions, but unfortunately the couple who used to run the shop are no longer there. It was disappointing to walk in without the warm welcome that once made this place feel special. The atmosphere just isn't the same and neither is the customer service. My scoop nor cone didn't live up to expectations this time. Waffle cone was soggy and had no taste like it had been sitting out all day and the scoop size was a joke for $9! read more

I wanted to order their special "taco" which is similar to a chocolate taco but made with soft serve. No chocolate, but you can add toppings. It took some convincing for me to order because in my head i didn't think the soft serve would hold up on the taco waffle she'll, but it did.. for the most part. The taco is larger than a chocolate taco so I wasn't able to finish it fast enough before the big melt began. I did add peanuts as a topping and I loved it. Didn't get a chance to take a picture because I was busy eating! This was a last second decision to grab some ice cream before boarding our boat back to San Pedro... Cutest little Ice cream shop! I think it fits only one customer at a time. While the pineapple ice cream treat was great, the customer service was ehhhh. The young girl working was probably irritated at all the customers. I personally, love good customer service and I love to feel welcomed. This place was missing that. The south side of the pier has been missing Soft Serve ever since the Pic Nic Fry went out of business many years ago. Now it has one again! In summer '24, a small soft serve was $6, which is quite pricey, but it was super refreshing on a hot day. They serve them in cups and cones and they can also dip them in chocolate sauce. Also, 10+ flavor of ice cream to choose from. This is a great place to stop and grab something cold and delicious as you try to cool down from the summer heat. You won't be getting 31+ flavors here, but they do have a nice little selection of delicious flavors to choose from. I didn't find the staff here to be very welcoming, but it was a cruise port day on my visit so I think the staff was just busy trying to keep up with the demand. The shop is easily located right off of Pebbly Beach Rd. Just look for the little pink striped building. Overall, everyone in my family enjoyed their selections. It kept them all quite for about 10 minutes, so it was worth every penny to me! Recommended! read more

Brand new and so yummy! We stopped here before heading to our boat ride. The soft serve is outstanding. Make sure you add hot fudge!

The soft serve is the best soft serve but they never have it available. When asked she said they weren't doing it today. No other reason. Lol kind of ridiculous. The previous time I went they were planning on closing early as well and "already cleaned the soft serve machine" so they didn't serve it. Such a shame. read more

There's probably a half-dozen ice cream shops along the walk and nothing screamed out at us for one or the other so no regrets, but nothing super to rave about. Coffee was solid. Great little ice cream shop at the front of town, perfect to beat the summer heat. I ate here 3 times this weekend! The other ice cream shop in town usually has a long line but this place has shorter lines and we're able to get in and out quickly. They have unique and classic ice cream flavors and are made locally in Santa Barbara. We really liked Santa Barbara strawberry and churros con leche. Definitely worth checking out if your craving something sweet on Catalina! read more

Pretty good ice cream, I got the Cappuccino Crunch and it was great! I usually don't finish ice creams but I devoured it and the waffle cone. Honestly the waffle cone was the best part. Service was good as well, it wasn't busy and there was only one employee. The only thing that wasn't so great was that I paid a whopping $12 for this one scoop ice cream. Ice cream was good but the younger guy working set up square to automatically add a 30% tip on my bill and the timing is setup so fast that I could not correct it. It automatically processed payment. 30% tip without asking and then acting like he knew nothing about it. Beware!!! read more

Worst ice cream place I've been to. Sampled many flavors and they were all horrible and had the texture of sandpaper. The employees obviously did not want to be there and were just sitting there. They gave horrible service and looked annoyed. The "scoop" looked as if they just scraped the ice cream and served it. It was tiny. For that size of a scoop it was very overpriced. read more
