She is very sweet and was truly understanding of my need to avoid gluten (GF is not a fad for me!). I had the Grilled artichoke with creamy caper sauce which was INCREDIBLE along with the Beet and wild greens salad with goat cheese on the side, and a glass of tea. All excellent. I ordered a the angus burger and Cat Cora's Pale Ale. The burger was very good, and the beer was a perfect match. It didn't come with any sort of condiments so make sure you ask. Ordered the tomato soup as a side, but wasn't anything to write home about. The one complaint I have is the place smelled of stale beer, which was surprising. I'd go back for the burger. read more

Killing time in the Atlanta Airport at Cat Cora's Kitchen. Oh. My. Goodness. The food is amazing!! Homemade chips (ummm...devoured), flank steak tacos, tomato soup with grilled cheese (you know...inhaled). Great bottle of Chardonnay to wash it all down. Seated with a view of the kitchen. Love! If you're going to be stranded in an airport, this is the way to do it. Best server on the planet, Moleek. Only critique would be the size of the wine pour. $12 for 5 ounces of Kendall-Jackson is kinda ridiculous when I can buy an entire bottle for $12-$15 any day of the week. Food was ok, but I'm absolutely amazed by the lack of professionalism by the wait staff. Waited 10 minutes before anyone waited on me and 10 minutes before having to ask for my check. Had a layover in ATL and thought I would give it a try. First the positives. The interior is very nice, the seats are comfortable. The photos on the wall are almost all of Cat Cora so if you didn't know who she was you will by the end of your meal. The food tasted good and was of good quality. However the price was a little off-putting. For a small piece of flank steak, 4 small corn tortillas and some salsa I paid $19. Oh wait I did have one piece, yes a single leaf of butter lettuce. The wait for this meal was about 20min so if you are on a timetable then you will want to make that clear from the beginning. It did however taste good and as an added bonus they did have plenty of plugs and USB ports to charge your devices. Overall it's a nice place and worth stopping at, but not worth the price. I was a few hours early for my flight and was looking to sit down and have some breakfast. I was excited to see this restaurant as I am a fan of her food and reputation. So let's start with the food. I would give it a solid 4.5 but will lean more to the 4 then the five. The eggs were cooked perfectly and obviously in their own pan and not a large flat top. I ordered the roasted chile omelette. The eggs were fluffy and the chiles were cooked to perfection. I wish the cheese content was a bit higher due to the liquidity of the chiles. The breakfast potatoes were the best I ever had. Except the larger ones that were undercooked. The bacon and bread were a nice accompaniment. The plating was a bit sloppy with oil pooled on my plate. An easy wipe would have been the fix. So why the three stars. First reason is I sat at one of the front tables. The tables are so close together that when people walk by they are bumping into you or your table with their persons or luggage. Definitely not designed for an airport situation. More importantly as many have mentioned is the service and I will provide three examples. When I was greeted by the hostess I asked for a seat with a charger outlet. She responded snarky they all due. Well it was a rude response and also not true. The tables in the middle aisle at a minimum do not have outlets. I ordered a very expensive single cup of coffee. It was empty when my food was delivered and the waitress never followed up except with the check. So a second cup of coffee was never an opportunity for my 35 minute seating. I also would have like some Hotsauce but the food was literally dropped and run. Finally I was provided someone else's check. It was very expensive. My waitress was not to be found so I told the hostess. This was about a ten minute ordeal. Wish I had a cup of coffee while waiting! read more

I had a layover in Atlanta. My Wife and I stopped in for (hopefully) a nice breakfast. The service was extremely slow. Frustrating because you think by now they would understand that people in airports are typically on short fuses. We both ordered a basic eggs, choice of meat, potatoes, choice of bread menu item. My first time here--in the A-terminal at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson airport. I had the lamb meatballs and garlicky spinach, both were delicious. I requested that the meatballs be prepared medium well, rather than rare and they had a perfect light pink center. The yogurt-based sauce was well-seasoned and presented, as was the spinach. I especially like that the food does not come heavily salted. I found CatCora's on the upscale side of gateside dining, with prompt, courteous and classy service. Got to the airport early to do a "Foodie Tour" and sample the Restaurants...IKR who does that...Terminal A's Cat Cora's kitchen just outside of Gate 25. The service was really slow we got seated right away ant 6:30 pm. and although wait staff acknowledged us it was not until abt 6:45 that anyone actually stopped to take our drink order (we almost left)..However....we sure are glad we didn't after receiving our very stiff Moscow Mules we settled into what can only only be described and mac and cheese heaven...the creamy cheese sauce tasted like it was comprised of every cheese known to man & the chunks of lobster were sooo fresh the noodles were a background accompaniment...even still they were perfectly al dente...Worth the wait...a little pricey...the Lobster mac n cheese will run ya $15 and the drinks $15 a pop but worth it read more

I get it - it's the airport so you're going to get completely robbed. I just think it sucks to take advantage of travelers. I was excited to see "Cat Cora's Kitchen" right next to my gate! I had a two hour lay over so I wanted to relax and have a morning bite. The staff was very nice. They're the only reason for any stars. Oh, the Bloody Mary was very good too. So $12.00 for a Bloody Mary is not outrageous at the airport. But I ordered the 'American two eggs' and it was also $12.00. A car side diner would've charged 1.99 for a much better plate. Two sad, hard to cut chicken sausage, four tiny fingerling taters that we're raw and unseasoned (on the menu they're 'breakfast potatoes'), two runny eggs, and some toast kisses by the toaster. I'd promised to treat my husband to an ATL Airport gastro experience but we only had 35 minutes before boarding our next flight. Blew into this place and the staff had no sense of airport turnaround whatsoever. My husband at least wanted a martini but the first thing that happened was... nothing! The hostess didn't look up. A server came over and insisted we sit at a two person table that hadn't been cleaned, and no one approached for a drink order until we started to leave (we weren't the only ones on the brink of departure either). We probably didn't have enough time for the steak dinner we wanted, but they could have at least sold us cocktails and an appetizer. I grabbed a beer before my flight. My server was very sweet. I tried the seasonal Sweetwater beer on tap before ordering it. Definitely a good way to kill an hour before take off. The food looked delicious making its way out of the kitchen but I cannot vouch for that. read more

Disappointingly poor value and serving sizes. Slow service. The quality of the food was pretty good, but there was sooo little of it. I had the 25-dollar chicken plate (27 after tax). It was about 5 ounces if chicken. Very tasty chicken, but I didn't order a kid's size or a senior menu item. This problem is magnified for me as a large man. I feel like the server should have warned me (though, ultimately, he shouldn't have needed to warn me in the first place). The server was friendly enough, and they were pretty slammed (even though it was about 2pm when I arrived). But it took an hour to get me my food. And by the time I needed the check, when they had emptied out a lot, it took a long time to get that as well. read more

After being seated right away with not very many people in the restaurant, it took 10 minutes before I asked if there was a server for my table. Other people had trickled in by then and were being waited on. My food: very disappointing. Over medium eggs had runny whites, which defeats the purpose of OM. The toast had no butter. Chicken sausage - cold and tasted raw. Potatoes - Luke warm but tasted OK. No one ever checked on me and I had to ask for my ticket after sitting another 10 minutes after I was finished eating.
