Great dive bar for a drink near airport. 1 Bullshooter softtip board & 2 pool tables. Smoking is allowed.

Probably some call a dive bar but I've been here 3 times on a Friday for happy hour with my golf buddies and always have a good time. It's in 31st and Sheridan area so not the greatest area of Tulsa but large open tinted windows that you can keep an eye on your vehicle but its dark enough to satisfy my need for what I like a bar to be.

I have heard mixed reviews from friends about the service and lack of communication (one time a friend went on a Thursday and it was closed with no notice on social media). In terms of location, it was hard for me to picture where it was but it wasn't difficult to find at all. It's definitely a hole in the wall but their signage helps. I wasn't sure which was the main door at first but I figured that out by trial and error. When I walked in, my first impression was that it was a dive bar because there were a bunch of pool tables as soon as you walk in to the left. On the right, there's the bar. I smiled awkwardly at everyone since I was by myself and went straight back to where I saw a small group of people dancing. Thankfully I knew a couple of them and they quickly welcomed me. After finding a spot to sit in one of the high tables, I went to the bar to get a drink. It took a while for the bartender to notice me, I think it was the owner and he was on his phone so I couldn't get his attention. Finally a customer yelled at him and I was able to order. Of course I got a mojito. It was very delicious, however, it was a challenge to drink. They use those super thin plastic straws that rip easily so I felt silly after failed attempts to drink it. Ended up just not using the straw. Besides that, the sound and light system were great. Wish the floor was smoother, especially for dancing events, that is a must. Maybe that's why they've stopped doing Thursday Latin nights. I heard they do karaoke nights and most recently, it changed its category and is now listed as a gay bar. Not sure if they transferred ownership or if they just partnered with organizers, but all their monthly events are LGBTQ+. I'll definitely make sure to check those out sometime.

The bartender (Rose) is an absolute delight. It's a dive, but I honestly love a good dive. They…read moredon't mind accommodating my off menu orders and everyone was so kind. Only real complaint is I wish they had a better liquor/mixer selection.
