Took it back and they "replaced" the compressor with a "new" one at least 3 times. I can understand getting a bad part but not 4 in a row. Makes me wonder if they ever changed it to begin with. We were told it's because the part is an after market part. Took it to another shop and he said it shouldn't make that noise. Tried to speak with the owner about a refund and he just wants to refund the part and not the labor. He told the manager to tell us the air blows cold so it's fixed. Owner of the shop told his manager that he would contact us and the owner of the 2nd shop we took it to. The owner hasn't tried to contact either of us or the other shop once. This after our family has spent a good bit of money having work & routine maintenance done at this shop.

I saw a nail in my tire so naturally I thought this was causing my tire to deflate. Well, it turns out my rim was cracked so a guy suggested Columbus Custom Exhaust (CCE). I left Firestone and immediately drove to CCE. They didn't open til 0900 but I managed to arrive by 0905. I explained my situation and was told the price was dependent on how many cracks there were in the rim. They even told me how much dependent on the number found. Keep in mind, I knew how many there were because Firestone showed me the rim. Needless to say, I was a little hesitant considering I'm a woman and sometimes we can be taken advantage of. Not here! My car was lifted off the ground at 0919 and one crack was found and repaired by 1310 (4 hours). I'm super impressed and recommend this business for your various needs. After getting a second inspection, I was informed the drain plug appeared over-torqued, the oil pan appeared stripped/damaged, and TWO gasket rings had been installed on the drain plug, which I was told is NOT standard procedure. What's even worse is management admitted the second gasket ring was not documented on the invoice, yet continued trying to use the invoice as proof that everything was done correctly. That makes absolutely no sense. If the actual condition of the vehicle does not match the invoice, then the invoice is inaccurate. The store manager, James Dykes, and the regional manager, Scott, both refused accountability and repeatedly doubled down despite the discrepancies. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, I was interrupted, spoken to disrespectfully, and treated as though I did not understand what I was talking about. Scott also refused to provide his contact information and instead chose to call me from a blocked number. The entire experience felt dismissive and incredibly unprofessional. People trust businesses like this with their vehicles and safety. Most customers are not mechanics and rely on these establishments to properly service vehicles with honesty and integrity. My vehicle was not leaking oil before being serviced here, and now I'm dealing with damage and additional expenses that could have been avoided. It never even came up in our conversation as I simply supplied the VIN so they could verify condition. To say anything different is not only dishonest but slanderous. Found out from my son that he had given him a business card and they wouldn't deliver without the bill being paid. Most towing services that I've used in the past gave me a bill on site and I took care of immediately. Bill was $75 recently from Tiger Towing (much better company to deal with). Took directly to site - no gouging of storage fees. I called this afternoon (not much later than I was told that I needed to call and pay. The bill was over $300 and the owner said it would now also be 2 days storage. What!? After getting mad over the outrageous bill and treatment as a customer, the bill went to over $400 due to the "storage" fee I guess? Storage is a parking lot in front of their shop - no fenced security. DO NOT use unless you want to be charged an astronomical fee. We will see what my insurance has to say about the charge. Insurance would only pay $300. Surprised at that due to the ridiculous price.
