I purchased a 2014 Chevy Sonic from this dealership and was told the vehicle was in good condition and ready to go, with only minor issues addressed before the sale. Within about a month of ownership, I ended up having to replace the alternator, front struts, and a wheel bearing, costing me over $1,300 in repairs. While the staff was professional during the purchase process, I'm disappointed that these major mechanical issues came up so soon after buying the car. Would give zero stars if possible Let's start from the beginning Bought a captiva from them not even 30 minutes later wouldn't start they said it was a key issue but regardless couple days pass cars starts so we figured it was OK NOPE on our way to our son's heart appointment car turns off and we cant get it back on I get it towed to my house 150 bucks I call them said bring it in a couple days later they tell me its an alternator and its not covered so thats another 800 bucks out of pocket so in 4 days almost 1000 bucks on top of the 6k I paid cash for the car fast forward a couple days and guess what same problem again so almost 7 k spent and same problem they said we can switch the car for something else and boy was that an even bigger/costlier mistake we got 2014 kia sorento and now I've put about another 3k into it aside from the 15k I paid for the truck to fix something that they said they would fix and never did all they have done is give me the run around for a year avoid them at all cost cause if not its gonna cost you way more I thought carmax was bad these guys take the cake PS I am still waiting for my call back PAUL JR its been a year. read more

Be careful of this place with their body work. They will try to rip you off. They will take their time to complete the work. They may even cause more damage like a broken windshield and drag their feet getting the work done. They debate and cause stress over the work to be done as well as the damage they caused as well. read more

He was not joking, the longest part of the transaction was getting the loan and that really didn't take that long. I was driving home in my new car before the 5:00 traffic jam. Castle Motors - Dishonest Sales Practices and Ongoing Legal Action I purchased a Mini Cooper from Castle Motors in Brookfield, IL on March 14, 2025, and within 15 minutes of leaving the lot--after dropping off Mr. Castle himself--the vehicle began blowing smoke out of the tailpipe. I was told this was "normal" and that the car could run to "350,000 miles with no issues." That couldn't have been further from the truth. The car had undisclosed mechanical problems, and Castle Motors refused to take accountability. I am now in active litigation due to fraudulent misrepresentation, deceptive sales practices, and failure to deliver a valid title. Despite paying in full and covering registration and plate fees, I never received the title, which has left me unable to legally drive or sell the vehicle. As a consumer, I expected basic honesty and transparency. Instead, I was sold a car under false pretenses by a dealership that shows no regard for legal compliance or customer protection. I've since learned other customers have faced similar issues. Castle Motors is currently under formal complaint with the Illinois Secretary of State and Attorney General's office. Communication is terrible.....bought a truck from Paul Jr on September 25th Paid in Full . The turn signal warning light comes on during a test drive and he says oh it's a bulb they know about it. They're gonna replace it so the day of the sale he says they replaced the bulb. It's still not working. They had to replace the socket they had to order it supposedly replaced the socket a couple of days more says it's still not working said they had to replace the brake control module(BCM) so then they said still not working they have to program it. They have to take it to a dealer which I thought I was at supposedly get it back. Says it's all working except for the upper turn signal which he'll have the part on Monday and he'll call me and let me know what's going on. They still haven't called me meantime left message to have Paul Senior call me nothing this is already 11 days which I own a truck that I haven't really driven except for the test drive more updates until. to come ....... read more

Contacted Castle Motors a few days ago about my complaints and did not receive a response. My complaints were that I did not get a title or a manual for the vehicle. I asked about these things before I purchased the car and was told that the dealer had both. Asked about the tires because with the miles on the car would be due new tires by now. Was told new tires but were not. Had two Goodyear s on the back and Coopers on the front. It took 10 days to have the car delivered after I purchased it. If I would have seen the car up close would not have purchased it. Lots of nicks and scratches and the wheels were even worse. The rims were badly scratched up due to probably hitting curbs. The car wasn't even washed. Now with not having the title being I live in a different state so I can't register it in the state I live nor get license plates. With no manual don't know how to use most things in the car. Seeing I am not getting a response from them I need to look into the legal aspect of it. Probably the state dept. read more

Father/Son business that shouldn't be open went to buy a car Father says one thing but to wait and come back because he can't process paperwork then son comes up with a different number. Then when you have an issue with price the Father/Owner of the business says he knows he has good cars he checks them out personally but then says he can't see good and that he makes mistakes which is understandable but don't be making statements that you have the best dealership in the area cause it isn't most of their cars have issues they can't even keep up to fix cause they are also busy worried about their performance business fixing Buicks GNX instead of people buying there car this business is waste of time to visit can't even get a proper phone answer. my husband purchased a vehicle from here and they overcharged him based off the issues we've had so far took it back for service but everytime we came they would ask if we can come back another I get the feeling they don't have what they need to service the vehicle's there selling with warranties I wouldn't came back based off how there prices are over rated and there lack of service they may seem nice but once they have your money they don't care waste of time read more
