I was essentially accused of stealing while wearing yoga pants and carrying a fanny pack lol. I was gathering bachelorette items but they approached me TWICE and told me it was "store policy" that I could not hold my items as I shopped. Apparently it is also "store policy" not to take photos inside. No signage was posted about these policies and all the other shoppers were left undisturbed! Of all the Castle locations in the valley, I like this one the most. I believe it's also their largest store here too. I've visited with female company and by myself. While having a fun friend go with you has its own obvious differences, my experiences have been consistent with either situation. I would like to point out that visiting an adult store as a male is much like going to Ross or. Nordstrom Rack. The entire store is essentially for women while guys have one or two lonely racks or isles in this case. Just a funny observation. The staff is always pleasant and more often than not they go out of their way to assist when needed. During this covid scare they are wearing masks and gloves and masks are required for customers. My only complaint would be their DVD section is organized by inconsistent genres or production companies. They kinda jump all over and the staff should spend more time keeping it organized as some idiot customers don't put movies back where they belong. Although they took my money at the time as if it was a cash transaction, the refund they said would take 3 to 10 calendar days. Still no refund; the clerk working at the time acted like she didn't know what she was doing. I should have received a cash refund, as this was a debit transaction. Castle Mega store is quite a mega-store. The factory type set-up makes everything seem too spaced out and it doesn't do the merchandise justice. Usually these type of novelty shops are smaller, and you can slowly move through the aisles checking out all the treats but because of the size of this store, it makes the experience a lot less intimate. I'll give it to them, they have a wide selection, although they didn't have the specific item I was looking for. They found a decent substitute, and the staff was helpful in this endeavor. Prices seem on par with other places carrying such items. I came into this location last night looking for some cute lingerie. I was greeted by one of the sales associates who was actually very friendly. One of the males, who I learned was the store manager, asked probably every 5 minutes if I was finding everything okay. A little excessive, but I work retail, so I get it. I picked myself out an outfit and read the return policy so I could be sure I could return it if it didn't fit since I don't like trying those kinds of things on in store. Sure enough, the hand written sizing was wrong on the tag and I couldn't even get it past my thighs. I immediately threw it back in the bag and attempted to return it today WITH A RECEIPT. The woman who helped me was immediately short with me, stating the tag fell off and she can't help me. I told her what happened and she became rude, stating there was "hair" on the outfit (therand she can't guarantee that it wasn't worn - and that they offer fitting rooms for a reason. I asked for the store manager, who was who checked me out last night, and she replied "well I'm the assistant store manager, and we can't help you." Well, after spending $150 in this particular location, and not even being given the time of day to get assistance when I had the necessary requirements to fit their return policy - I won't be returning to this location or spending a dime here in the future. Customer service is big and if you help your customers they help you. Customer service is obviously not important to this location or the management team here. read more

I made a yelp account just to say how great this place is. I came in last week to buy a new vibrator and I was totally blown away by the variety they offered. I was greeted by staff asking me if I had any questions and left me to browse when I said I wanted to look around a bit. When you walk in, there is a large wall with display models to your left that has most of the store's vibrators available for you to turn on and get a feel for. This is excellent, since you can judge yourself how strong or quiet the motors can go and what you would be comfortable with. A lot of the reviews say how friendly and knowledgeable the staff is, and they're completely right. The woman who greeted me before helped me make a decision on a vibrator I was interested in and even recommended a good toy cleaner. The prices there are very reasonable. Sure, you can buy a lot of the stuff online cheaper, but here you know exactly what you're getting short of test driving it in-store. They have a great selection from all sorts of toys to clothes to oils and lubes with lots and lots of display models to handle. If you're a little apprehensive to check it out, just know that the staff is very respectful and happy to help you. I don't think I'd buy them for myself, not really my thing. It's not so much a turn on, but a fascination. Really with what those girls can do and how badly the acting is. I went and bought him some love dvds and wow did they have a selection. I was the only girl in there, think I made some guys uncomfortable since whenever I walked past one they would quickly put the porn down and look around non chalantly :) I even got myself a little present. Just visited this shop as we're from out of town and I was trying to get my friend to show me what she wanted for her birthday. We walked in and decided to just try to see everything. They have a large selection and pretty much anything you need or want or are curious about is there. Which is cool, but the employees were frustrating. Every 5 minutes we were asked if we needed help. Literally asked if we needed help 8 or 9 times and mostly from the same person. My friend is the type who gets giggly with this kind of stuff, so I guess they either thought we were punk kids or really unknowledgeable. Every time we stopped to touch or pick something up an employee would ask us if we needed help. Actually it was the same kid. He did not smile. He did not ask anything other than "do you need help?" With a somber irritated look and then walked away. Totally put me off to ANYTHING. One because we're ladies shopping, two I like to look and if I have a question I'll ask, and thee he was so unpleasant and unfriendly and uninviting in any way. I would describe him as Orin from Parks and Rec. I've been to other stores where the staff is much more helpful and would pull out an item for you to touch or at least ask what you're shopping for so they can guide you in the right direction. 15 minutes into our shopping adventure everyone else had left the store and the staff of 6 or 7 were all within 20ft of us following us around like we were gonna break something or steal. By that point I was pissed and just wanted to leave, so we did without buying anything. 3 stars for product inventory. Minus 2 stars for staff. read more
