The tiki mocktails and cocktails are amazing, and the trailer is incredible! The tiki vibe is spot on.

Hard to find the front door but once we did we were very pleased with the ambiance. Raw is a lovely space and the bar is large and looks very inviting and like a place tou could feel very comfortable having a cocktail or two. The seating is comfortable and has a relaxed vibe. The sushi was just not great. We ordered several of the special rolls that ranged in price from $22 to $29. They all tasted pretty much the same and every one of them had the same sauce. But the safest part is the tempura shrimp in the rolls tasted like it had been sitting for awhile. And instead of getting that crispy light tempura crust, it was gummy and heavy. The rice was gummy and I am not sure if it was overcooked or perhaps had too much sugar added which madeit overly sweet and congealed. We also ordered a dou le.order of the Hamachi sashimi which was fair but lacked that super rich butter flavor I crave. We were so hoping to find our go to sushi spot while visiting Raw. And I do think they have a place in the restaurant bar world. But their "place" is not for as a high end sushi restaurant. The quality is just not there. And I so wanted it to be. ‍

My girlfriend and I have tried a few times to visit fusion restaurants and have never happened upon…read moresomething that feels like it really embodies the spirit of fusion - two cuisines interacting totally with each other and playing off each others strengths. That all changed when we went to Luna's after seeing it recommended on a Reddit best of Redding thread. There is obviously some serious culinary talent involved in the development of this exciting menu. My favorite thing we tried was the chicken dumpling burger. If you love dumplings and have ever greedily wished that succulent, tender filling went on forever, you will end up in the same heaven I did. Beautiful crafted patty, perfectly seared on a delicious bun with exquisite sauce. The presentation was also so adorable - it arrives in a steamer tray! My girlfriend's favorite was the pho sandwich. All the rich & nourishing toppings from iconic pho, vegetable and meat, bursting out of a banh-mi presentation. The master stroke of genius is rich and hearty pho broth to dip it in. I can't really even explain how satisfying the crunch of the sandwich is with the flavor profile of comforting pho. In addition, we both were extremely delighted with the playful and creative boba menu. I settled on the Ponyo-yo, which was a delicious little concoction of rich vanilla yogurt, peach puree, lemon popping boba served strikingly in a fishbowl glass with gummy sharks peeking out of delicious whipped cream topping. A feast for the senses! We also had a fantastic time splitting the bananas foster churro plate with beautiful strawberries and perfectly prepared bananas. If we hadn't been road tripping, we would have really enjoyed exploring the drinks menu, which was also very appealing. Maybe next time ;) oh and of course the chips & salsa were so good - love the little Korean spice profile touch on the chips. The venue also has wonderful ambience. Obviously very intentionally designed, the aesthetic is warm, inviting, and skillfully marries whimsy with comfort and charm. Pink SpongeBob in the women's restroom? HELLO? And of course you can enjoy the vintage anime playing on the big TV - I loved peeking up at Sailor Moon. The staff is also all very charming and friendly and the service was great. If you haven't given Luna's a chance, let this be your sign!! Just such an incredibly enjoyable night out, and I can't wait to visit next time we're in town. Thank you for a beautiful meal!

It's a nice indoor restaurant a little dark. But they do have a patio area as well that's lit up more. I got the butter chicken enchiladas. So good and my husband got the asada tacos, has a little kick to them. We ended the night with banana pudding dessert.... Wow now that was tasty. Glad we live far away from here because that could be dangerous!! Definitely recommend!

Located in the Placer Heights Plaza, next to Starbucks. Same plaza as Holiday Market and CVS Pharmacy. We were seated immediately as they were not busy. The menu was a bit different than online. Our server came to take our order. He didn't introduce himself and seemed like he didn't want to be there. We decided on the fried green tomatoes, fried chicken sandwich and catfish po' boy. When the po' boy came out, we thought it was burnt! We didn't know the catfish will be blackened by default. We thought it will be fried since it is a po' boy. The options can be blackened or fried based on the menu online. We were not given those options by our server. They brought out the food but didnt provide utensils until minutes later. Fried green tomatoes: It was good. Fried perfectly. The dressing that was tossed with the side salad was super salty. Catfish po' boy: Fish was tender but super salty as well. Fried chicken sandwich: Pretty good sandwich. Chicken was huge. The fries was so soggy, not crispy at all. Also very greasy. We were a bit disappointed as we drove out of our way to try this place. Nice ambiance though. I felt I was a bit underdressed lol

For starters we had steamed clams, calamari and meatballs. For our mains we decided on their Bistro Filet Ravioli, which has Ricotta, Romano, Parmesan, and Asiago jumbo stuffed raviolis, creamy alfredo, chili flakes, topped with their signature pan-seared bistro filet tips. It was amazing. We also had their Ribeye steak at about $53.00. I think it was a 14oz hand-cut ribeye, and it had the best butter on it. It came with mashed Yukon potatoes and marinated asparagus. We will be getting all of this again. We were staying in a hotel so took home some great pasta. The service is great. The food is amazing and the place is just so cute and ever so clean.

It was comfortable, quiet, and I enjoyed watching the bartender and the kitchen staff at work. We were in time for Happy Hour and I took advantage of the $4 draft beer (Farmer's Light - fruity and fun); my wife went upscale and had a regular-priced glass of merlot ($8). Both of us had the chicken cranberry salad - it was delicious, with lots of chicken. The bread was good, too. Our server kept us fed and watered and was very helpful and pleasant. I'd come back...but I'd make sure to have a reservation!
