El Cielo was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Valle de Guadalupe. The property is…read moreabsolutely breathtaking! The wines were fantastic, but what really made the experience stand out was the service. Everyone we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and genuinely excited to share their wines and story with us. Our sommelier was especially wonderful and made the tasting feel personal and relaxed rather than rushed or scripted. One of our favorite parts of the visit was the chocolate and wine pairing that my husband and I did together. Every pairing was thoughtfully put together, and it was so much fun discovering how the flavors changed and complemented each other with every sip and bite. The best surprise of the day? Finding out our sommelier was from the 805! As fellow Central Coast locals, it made the experience feel even more special and gave us an instant connection that we definitely weren't expecting to find in the middle of wine country in Baja.

Those areas reportedly remained empty. Conflicting information: One server said we could order à la carte, while another later said only the buffet was available. The captain ultimately denied the request. Poor beverage quality: The Americano coffees appeared to be regular drip coffee, and the orange juice seemed watered down. Slow and inattentive service: Sugar and milk took a long time to arrive, and afterward the servers did not check on our table until we requested the bill. Given the lack of service and the misleading or inconsistent information, we felt the experience did not warrant a tip. The problem wasn't just one minor issue--it was a pattern of poor hospitality, inflexibility, and contradictory communication.

Ray and his staff of safe and competent drivers deliver 10/10 VIP service each time we have used them. Ray knows the Valle region very well and can provide recommendations that match exactly what you are looking for. The all inclusive wine tasting options are the best, and I wouldn't do it any other way! There is no better way to travel from the border down to wine country than with this company and we can't wait to experience the magic Valle offers over and over again with Ray and his team! Thanks Ray!

Our waiter was great, he gave a lot of great recommendations as far as beer and how to eat the oysters. My husband enjoyed his oysters with the sauces and his octopus tacos. My daughter just got the pizza which she enjoyed (loved that is was sourdough) and I just got some basic tacos wasn't too hungry. I also got the granizado con fresa! It was delicious ! After we ate we walked around for a bit and bought some beer at the store. It's a really nice place for pictures.

You have to drive at least 5 miles just to find other restaurants or attractions, and it's about 14 miles to Ensenada if you want more options. The hotel only has one restaurant currently open, and while it was convenient, the food was overpriced for what it offered. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the property itself felt a bit neglected. There were several maintenance issues, including a broken toilet paper holder and a broken shampoo/conditioner dispenser that wasn't replaced until the following day. The paint in the room didn't match in several areas, and overall it could use some upkeep. The pillows were very uncomfortable, and the property was extremely dusty, making it difficult to enjoy being outside, so we ended up staying indoors most of the time. We also booked a room advertised with a "valley view," but our view was mostly trees and a ditch, which was disappointing and not what we expected. On the positive side, the room itself was modern, clean, and nicely designed inside. With a few minor repairs and better maintenance, it could be an excellent place to stay. The hotel was also very quiet, which made for a peaceful atmosphere, although the room had great AC. Overall, I would rate Casa Frida 3 out of 5 stars. It has potential thanks to its friendly staff

Food was really good overall and the dessert was decent nothing crazy just a crepe with ice cream. Service was outstanding and super attentive. When you arrive you park at the bottom of a mountain side and are taken up by a small bus to the restaurant. It's all gravel (not dirt) so if you plan on wearing your best shoes careful. The views are awesome!
