If you go to Valle de Guadalupe you have to stop here! This was our first time here and at this winery. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a big group of 18 adults and 4 kids. They recommended we get a few bottles of wine instead of doing the tasting but they still explained all the bottles to us as if we were doing a tasting. We really enjoyed all the wines but our favorite was the ST Colombard, ST Grenache & ST Merlot. They were very easy wines to drink and had a very good flavor. Prices are very reasonable the most expensive bottle here was about $25 dollars. We will be back when we visit and also try some other places around there.

This place is beautiful! Great wine and cheese plates. El vino Tinta Mexico y Ramona eran mis favoritos. The place is pretty big, and has lots places to sit; it's known for throwing big events. There is a restaurant in the bottom also.

When searching where to go in Mexican wine country, this winery came out near the top of many of the lists I found. The bonus too was that it was right next to the place we were staying. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They gave us all sorts of new information and helped us navigate through some of the differences between the areas wines and other regions around the world. The wall behind the tasting counter is quite impressive. At most wineries you'll see a couple dozen bottles of each variety they sell. Here, there's literally thousands of bottles lined up.

Lots of wine varieties to choose from as well as a couple different olive oils. Very beautifully designed spaces (even by the standard of other great wineries of the area such as Monte Xanic). The indoor area is super spacious and has different kinds of furniture such as bar tables and couches. Outdoor area is really impressive as well, and looks ideal for large parties and events. On a sunny midday it's also really enjoyable to relax and drink from their tasting menu.

Great little vineyard just outside Ensenada. We had a bottle of the 2015 Voigner with the Tuna/Mango ceviche. Outstanding! Beautiful ambiance, great service and with tip- $23. Will certainly go back soon!

My favorite was the Vino Rosado, which is a blend of Grenache, merlot, and Syrah. The scenery is fabulous, with everything being outside. They have a little store front as well, that has lots of cute hats and accessories. The grounds are pretty big, with multiple restrooms and spots to take some great pictures.

Our waiter was great, he gave a lot of great recommendations as far as beer and how to eat the oysters. My husband enjoyed his oysters with the sauces and his octopus tacos. You have to drive at least 5 miles just to find other restaurants or attractions, and it's about 14 miles to Ensenada if you want more options. The hotel only has one restaurant currently open, and while it was convenient, the food was overpriced for what it offered. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the property itself felt a bit neglected. There were several maintenance issues, including a broken toilet paper holder and a broken shampoo/conditioner dispenser that wasn't replaced until the following day. The paint in the room didn't match in several areas, and overall it could use some upkeep. The pillows were very uncomfortable, and the property was extremely dusty, making it difficult to enjoy being outside, so we ended up staying indoors most of the time. We also booked a room advertised with a "valley view," but our view was mostly trees and a ditch, which was disappointing and not what we expected. On the positive side, the room itself was modern, clean, and nicely designed inside. With a few minor repairs and better maintenance, it could be an excellent place to stay. The hotel was also very quiet, which made for a peaceful atmosphere, although the room had great AC. Overall, I would rate Casa Frida 3 out of 5 stars. It has potential thanks to its friendly staff

We visited for a girls' weekend and truly enjoyed all the wine served at this location. Several of the girls bought multiple bottles to take home and are still raving about them. It's a quaint, small winery that hasn't been affected by a social media frenzy, likely because there aren't many "Instagram-worthy" spots. However, the friendly service and outstanding wine will definitely keep you coming back.

Our group of 12 arrived and we waited a bit to be seated, which is fine. It is a small winery and they only have one large table. Gerardo was working that day. He seems nice but he didn't tell us much about the winery or the wines he was pouring. We had to ask him questions about their grapes and wine making process. The tasting room was very cute and comfortable. Their wines were ok. None of them really jumped out at me so I ended up not buying anything. Nobody else liked their wines and we were a bit disappointed with the impersonal service. We all were looking forward to the visit because of the good reviews but it just wasn't a good experience.
