Angel was amazing! We tried everything and he was patient, knowledgeable, and hilarious. The owner stopped by and helped us a local, authentic dinner spot. We bought from them and will be back for sure!

This place is SO fun, Archie knows a ton about all of the alcohol in his store he specializes in tequila like nobody I've ever seen... he knows the history and background of almost every bottle he sells! such a personable guy and generous with his time and he even gives samples and has a ton of recommendations for your budget and palette! This is a million times better than wine tasting, a much more fun and unique experience! If you're looking for a great time and one of the largest selections of tequila you've ever seen, THIS is the place! Highly recommended!

Don't believe everything they say, even the tour guides. They will rip you off. Beware.

Archie was a wonderful host, and we sampled several different kinds of tequila, and he pointed out the differences in each.

Tucked away in what looks like an old bank, this little winery instantly pulls you in with its vintage charm. The moment I walked in, I couldn't help but notice the high ceilings, the old safe door still standing proudly in the back, and the way every corner was filled with some part of the wine story--barrels stacked neatly, bottles arranged on tall shelves, and rustic touches that make the place feel authentic and full of history. It's not a huge space, but that's part of what makes it special. There's something intimate about it--like you've discovered one of Ensenada's best-kept secrets. The decor has this old-school feel that pairs perfectly with the warm, inviting vibe of the place. You can tell that the people who run Santo Tomás love what they do. The staff couldn't have been friendlier--they greeted me with genuine smiles, offered insight into their wines, and made the whole experience feel personal rather than commercial. Even before tasting anything, I could tell the wine was going to be good. The atmosphere just set the mood perfectly. And sure enough, each glass had that balance of depth and flavor that makes you want to linger over it and enjoy every sip. Santo Tomás isn't flashy or modern--it's timeless. If you appreciate good wine, friendly people, and a sense of history in the places you visit, this spot is worth every minute. So if you ever find yourself in Ensenada, do yourself a favor and step inside. You'll leave already planning your next visit. Enjoy!

It's a really nice building with a big courtyard out front and clean bathrooms. The woman who ran our wine tasting was funny and inviting and really made the experience. We added on a wine tour in the valley too. Ivan our driver, a native of the valley, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the valley, even providing excellent restaurant recommendations. The whole experience made us feel safe and secure, we would gladly travel with them again. They even suggested and helped us get a fast pass for border crossing that saved us 3 hours in crossing the border. Great team and service.

My friends and I weren't too sure of how the process would be since they picked us up after we walked across the border. We booked our rides through WhatsApp and the communication was super easy. They were super responsive, and the day before our designated rides, they shared the driver's number for us to connect directly. Our driver down to Valle was named Elias and made the whole process so simple! He picked us right outside of where we came out after crossing the border. He was super friendly and wanted to make sure we were comfortable for the drive. He told us a little bit about Valle and how he's lived there for 25 years. On my way back, I had a different driver, who was Natalie. She was super nice and the ride back was so quick, probably because it was the morning and traffic wasn't too bad in Tijuana yet. She was helpful in directing me to find the line to cross the border. Without the direction from her, I would have definitely been confused. They made this whole process so seamless! They were on time and available for all the questions I had leading up to the rides as well. I will for sure use them in the future any time I'm traveling somewhere driving distance in Mexico!

From the few minutes that we interacted with Emilio, he seemed to be a really cool dude. He got all the boring paperwork, rules and regulations out of the way so that we can start having fun. His crew that was there that day was great, but, Carlos our guide was the man. We booked the ATV and Zip Line combo, at first it would have been perfect timing, but, our cruise ship decided to leave 2 hours earlier than what it was when we booked the tour. Carlos, on the fly, improvised the itinerary to accommodate our time constraint. The routes that he took us on was great, we felt safe, but, at the same time gave us an adrenaline rush, first the city streets, then the mountains, then a little free style riding in the mountain. Once we were done with the ATV, he drove us to the Zip Lining spot Las Canadas, the drive was about 45mins to an hour, but, even that was not so bad, we chopped it up like we were all friends just hanging out. Zip Lining was awesome as well, the place had their own crew that guided us on the zip lines and bridges, they were cool too. On the way back, we had just enough time to hit one taqueria spot, great food, fresh hand made tortillas. Over all, my friends and I had a wonderful time in the little part of Ensenada that we explored. I would definitely come back just to experience the other tours that ATV Ensenada have to offer, or even just to hang with some pretty cool people of ATV Ensenada.

But the guy who opened the door for us caved and said he'd give us one. We sat up top, he told us the history and poured 3 different wines for us. I'm not a big wine drinker, but all my friends seemed to love it. We bought 3 bottles from this place before we left. He also didn't charge us for the tasting, not sure how that works. It's a beautiful property, they don't dispense to the US yet. They also just built a new tasting room, it's a pyramid shaped looking thing. It looked pretty cool!
