9/13/15: I think this place is kinda like the Denny's of France. Not as in an ubiquitous chain or…read moreanything, but that the food is more like what I would expect from a Denny's than any other restaurant we tried while in Paris. French food standards are definitely higher than in America, and even the most standard places are kinda fancy. So after spending more than a week in France, the very boring food at this restaurant kinda struck us as odd. Also, the service was slower than typical too.
1. Madame (Tartine) 11.20 EUR: Maybe I'm not a fan of traditional Monsieur/Madame sandwiches, but to me it wasn't too appetizing. The cheese was good cheese, but ham was nothing special. Didn't seem like anything you couldn't make at home. Even the fries are like Denny's. 5/10
2. Country (Club Sandwich) 10.50 EUR: And here you have it, a straight up Denny's favorite--the Club Sandwich. Chicken was good quality and wasn't overly dry, but otherwise very average, even for an average American diner. 5/10
We sat outside, which was very nice. But I did see inside and could see it was very well furnished and cozy. But food-wise, I say pass--plenty of really cool places to eat at in Paris.
