In contrast to others I have dealt with, they truly sought to inform me rather than trying to drive my decision or to "close a sale." I discussed frankly my "DIY" alternative and there was no pessimism or pressure, and I got the answers I needed to finalize my decision to replace, and the same with the more complex decision and tradeoffs of going tankless, and also they alerted me to the fact that I do not have a water pressure regulator, but, again, purely informatively, not in a "sales" mode, and referred me to resources to study further. I consider the price to have been competitive and also I have confidence in their guidance on the right model. They were punctual and once you know what you want, it is great to have it fully accomplished the next day. I recommend very highly the professionals who worked with me and the company they represent.

This time around, our Rheem water heater failed before reaching even 7 years, despite having a 12‑year warranty. Even though Quick is closed on weekends, Brandon texted me and set us up first thing Monday morning. Ben (sales) was extremely helpful, walked me through all the options, and made a genuine effort to get Rheem to honor the warranty. Unfortunately, Rheem couldn't provide a replacement and instead offered fair market compensation (still TBD). Not thrilled with Rheem, but Ben handled the situation professionally and kept me informed throughout. We ultimately went with a Bradford White, and Sammy installed it the same day. His work was excellent--professional, efficient, and spotless cleanup. The Bradford White + installation was very reasonable and very surprisingly comparable to my prior installation. Very impressed with Quick's responsiveness, professionalism, and ability to turn everything around in a single day. Highly recommend them.

We had a leak from our old water heater that our downstairs neighbor alerted us to a couple of days…read moreago. After we shut off the water, I got to looking for a company that could come out ASAP and resolve the issue. I called WHO around 5 a.m. and they had an overnight messaging service person who took all my info and let me know that I would get a call after 7 a.m. Around 7 a.m. I got a call and was able to set up a same day appointment. The folks on the phone were nice enough and professional. I was thrilled that someone would be coming out soon. We were alerted via text when our technician, Francisco, was on his way and he called to let us know when he would be arriving. Around 10 a.m. he was onsite and ready to assess the issue and give us a quote. They say free estimate, but I`m sure they still charge a service fee if you don`t end up agreeing to the quote. We agreed to the quote even though we didn`t want to( I mean..who WANTS to pay for a new water heater? haha). Anyway, Francisco explained all the parts and labor involved and was very informative about what each component was for and why, which we appreciated. Estimate signed and away we go. Francisco worked quickly and efficiently. By 2 p.m. we had a new water heater and the tech was cleaning up and ready to go. The job was quicker than we thought, which was great, and even though he said to give the water about an hour to heat, we tested it before and we got nice, hot water quickly. The new unit looks so fresh and new and everything went well. We were given a 2 year labor warranty, so that is a nice assurance. All in all, a great experience. I do want to go over pricing because while every scenario is different, I like to be transparent. A lot of people will say, "This is what I was quoted for XYZ" or "I ended up paying such and such amount less than other companies". We had an old unit(about 25 years old), we live in an upstairs condo unit and our water heater is on the balcony in a closer(location of the unit is all considered when quoting). We needed a new water heater(40 gallons), obviously, some new piping(portions, not full), a drip pan, some other bits and bobs(that weren't that expensive) and you are paying for the labor and expertise of the tech). We ended up with a $3000 bill for this service. AGAIN, every situation is different, but I do like to give the Yelp community a run down of my situation and pricing so that they can make informed decisions. As mentioned above, a great experience and we are back up and running with our hot water. I will update if anything significant happens.

It was a Big job, and I must say the West Coast team did an excellent job. Communication was great throughout, and the entire team was a pleasure to work with. We had a couple of other companies provide quotes, and West Coast beat them all! They were reliable, professional, and affordable. Uriel Blancas is the HVAC tech who did the spring maintenance re-check today and he did an…read moreexemplary job. 10/10, FIVE STARS IN ALL ASPECTS. TIMELY- Uriel called 30 min before his arrival and then, arrived at the stated time. This is particularly helpful so I can move my bunny to another room with all of his belongings. ATTENTION TO DETAIL - I saw him place a protective cloth down on the floor before he placed the ladder and tools down. I also noticed there was a bottle of cleaner with his supplies. He cleaned the inside vents as well as the compressor on the roof. He also tied off a loose wire/when checking the air handler in the ceiling. KNOWLEDGEABLE and THROROUGH - Uriel did a complete system check and then, he sat down with me to explain what was done and why. He addressed the concerns I had about some of the prior readings in terms that I could understand and shared tips that will help ensure my system runs at its most efficient. Example: A higher MERV doesn't always mean "better" and can actually restrict the airflow. He said that for my particular system I should use a MERV10 filter and change it every 3 months. He changed my filters and then, left me with two spares to use before the fall check comes. FRIENDLY - In the course of chatting with Uriel, it came up that I might benefit from having more filtered air coming into my condo. He made a recommendation for a part that would replace the standalone room air purifier I currently use. He placed this info into the after-visit summary so I can "research it and see if it fits with my needs and finances." There was zero pressure to make a purchase on the spot. And while this next item has nothing to do with the knowledge or ability of an HVAC tech, I greatly appreciate that he did NOT smell like cigarette / e-cigarette smoke or strong cologne as I have a bunny and people in my family have asthma. Thank you, Uriel, for a job well done.

Initial Problem with bubbling/gurgling sound coming from the downstairs toilet and sewage water…read morebacking up into the downstairs walk-in shower. It slowly drained after. It's a recurring problem for 6 days whenever we use our kitchen sink, our other upstairs bathrooms, and when doing the laundry. I tried a few solutions to see if it will fix the problem. I poured Dishwashing liquid and hot water into the toilet bowl and the walk-in shower drain several times, Snaked the shower drain, Opened up the sewer clean out in the side of the house to release pressure in the pipe causing nasty stuff spewing out, I used a 25 feet snake/auger to try and unclog whatever is causing the back up but it didnt hit any obstructions just took out small sludges. Obstruction must be further down the line so my snake/auger is not long enough. I found three more possible sewer clean out in my garage. One 6 inch and two 3 inch possible clean out without label, but I'm hesitant to open it. Anyway, those other attempts worked temporarily but it got worse over time so I went on line and found 8 plumbing companies around my area. I researched and started reading up on yelp reviews of all 8 companies and found 2 with great reviews that has recent 2025 reviews. I called True Value Plumbing first on 12/23/25 and I was told to expect a return call on 12/24/25 at 7am which exactly what happened . Anna called back and got me a 10am-12pm slot that was changed to an earlier slot of 9am-11pm due to an available tech. Tech came promptly at 9am. Alex was very polite, respectful, and very professional. I gave him the whole spill and showed him the problem. At that moment, the back up from the clean out was gone but I wanted to make sure it stays that way so I proceeded with what he suggested which is to put a camera down the sewer line to actually see if there's a clog and snake it. He asked if there are other sewer clean out and showed him the ones in the garage. Lo and behold, the two with no label were the ones he needed. He started putting a camera down the sewer clean out going towards the house and found no clogs. Then to the sewer clean out going towards the City's Main Sewer line. Found what it seems like a pink-colored material or object and the line was full of water. He proceeded to break it down by pushing and pulling using the head of the camera until he got through and proceeded to check further down the line until it was clear. He checked and verified the line a couple more times to see other obstructions. After that, Alex proceeded to use the motorized snake/auger to unclog the line more then switched back to camera, this time with the hot water turned on from the kitchen sink to help with the grease/sludge and by flushing the toilet a few times. Just verifying to ensure there won't be any water backing up towards the house. At this time, it seemed like it is now working properly. He also pointed out a part of the piping that has a slight belly (offset) which can affect the pitch of the pipe that could cause possible clogging. He even use a detector to pinpoint the location of the possible belly in my yard. Since, things are back to normal as of this moment, that will be another story for next time due to budget restraints (I hope it will not come to this). After the job, he cleaned up and disinfected the job site. By the way, this company is Veteran owned business and gives 10% discount to Military and fellow veterans so there's another bonus for you future customers. This is the reason why True Value Plumbing has great reviews. I don't usually do reviews but this time it needs to be done so other people who are in need of help get an honest work done and priced accordingly. Once again, thank you Alex for a great experience. I learned a lot of things today from all your explanations and answers to all my questions. You saved Christmas for me and my family.
