    This 5 star review is specifically for the plumber who came and helped us with our situation, which was just a simple kitchen faucet replacement. After getting several quotes from other plumbers, ALL of whom bloated the price by trying to add an additional & totally unneeded repair (and one who also wanted to charge over $600 for the job! Are you kidding me?! Looking straight at ya, company that starts with a Tar- and ends with a -pee). So we went with Troy Plumbing who gave me a fair price quote online here on Yelp. When the plumber Rafael came out, he was honest and friendly, confirmed that nothing else was needed and he got started right away. He did a superb job, very efficient, cleaned up after he was done, and we are very happy with the install! Much like how a good honest auto mechanic is hard to find, it's the same with plumbers. When you find a great one, you hold on to them for a long as you can. As long as Raphael is there with Troy Plumbing, I'll go to them every time! Now, as far as their person who does the scheduling/appointments there, James...he caused a lot of undue stress on the day of the appointment and was very unprofessional. I sincerely hope I don't have to deal with him again, but I won't hold that against this company nor will I let that affect my score because Rafael was just that fantastic!

    This is one of the shower temperature knobs. They both look like this.

    We needed a simple cartridge replacement for two showers, which they did but left two different issues unresolved, one for each shower knob. We paid $1300 for the two cartridge replacements combined (and they would not show me the receipts for what they claimed to be $300 per cartridge). They insisted that it was due to the entire valve being old and needed replacing, which would be an additional $950 each (near $500-600 for other plumbers). It turned out to be extremely easy issues to fix that they just would not come take a second look at (they did some someone out for a separate issue and did not charge us, but they also confirmed that these issues were not fixable). One issue was as simple as screwing in the main screw on the knob a little tighter and adding some lube (the knob was turning infinitely in one direction), and another issue was that the shower temperature knob just needed to be taken out, turned a little to the left, and placed back in (it was not getting hot until maxing out at 115 degrees, just a matter of the printed numbers on the knob not lining up). We had to pay another $300 to hire another plumber to identify these fixes, and we stood by and I even applied the lube spray myself. Extremely easy fixes but they were just not willing to double check their work and pushing for $950 per shower for valve replacements. Very frustrating to talk to James, as he insisted they did "everything they could", and that "they went above and beyond". Half assed work, overpriced, and squeezing us for more. They hire plumbers, so there is an up-charge to everything, emphasizing to me how much they have to pay for plumbers driving their 14mpg vans and therefore how "little they make". You're better off hiring an actual plumber who charges their own fees, no extra margins added.

    I had a huge sink backup and all the plumbers in the area were passing on the job but Rafa from Troys showed up with a smile on his face and eager to get the job done. I definitely wish I had just called these guys in the first place! They were very quick to respond via yelp or phone and both Rafa and the worker bees back at the office were very respectful and helpful, their prices are also very reasonable. I always feel like I am paying a lot for plumbing services but Rafa walked me through everything he did and I felt like it was a great price. They also recommended some other work that could be done without forcing it down my throat, which I really appreciated. Would definitely recommend them for any issue you're having around the house!

    I had a bathroom back up situation in one of the units that I manage and Thomas came out to handle the situation same day! He kept me updated throughout the whole process which was much appreciated. He snaked the line initially but was unable to clear the clog fully due to the angle of the pipes and where the clog was sitting. He returned the next day, just as he said he would to clear up the situation. He had to cut into the wall of the bedroom to access the piping. He was very thorough and professional. I would love to work with him again for future plumbing issues!

    Asked about installing a bidet and 3 bathroom sinks. After I showed them the bidets, they just never responded. Would've been nice to understand why instead of being left hanging. Gave them 4 hours and moved on to a more responsive plumbing company.

This time around, our Rheem water heater failed before reaching even 7 years, despite having a 12‑year warranty. Even though Quick is closed on weekends, Brandon texted me and set us up first thing Monday morning. Ben (sales) was extremely helpful, walked me through all the options, and made a genuine effort to get Rheem to honor the warranty. Unfortunately, Rheem couldn't provide a replacement and instead offered fair market compensation (still TBD). Not thrilled with Rheem, but Ben handled the situation professionally and kept me informed throughout. We ultimately went with a Bradford White, and Sammy installed it the same day. His work was excellent--professional, efficient, and spotless cleanup. The Bradford White + installation was very reasonable and very surprisingly comparable to my prior installation. Very impressed with Quick's responsiveness, professionalism, and ability to turn everything around in a single day. Highly recommend them.

    Really dislike giving low star reviews. This is an established company. We enjoyed working with…read morethem in the past. Higher in pricing, but we used to praise their customer service. We are loyal to our vendors/contractors as great workmanship is not always easy to come by. In the past Jacob, Erik, and others on the team were always professional, prompt, down to earth-- and all experts. They installed our 3 water heaters from them and a whole house filtration system. We have recommended them to our neighbors as well. Had the most uncomfortable conversation with owner Brandon who we've never interacted with in the past. Shockingly rude. I even said, "sounds like I caught you at a bad time" - yikes. A top contender for most negative and weird vibes from a sales/client interaction. This call happened after a slightly frustrating visit with Ben who admitted he only has 1 year of experience and was trying to keep up as best as he could. He was actively trying to learn on the spot. He was honest which I commend. Ben left saying he needs an actual technician present along with the owner's help to develop a more solid option and plan to move forward. Not a problem at all. It must be frustrating being an expert in your field having to speak about the same products and concepts with home owners who are relearning different/new systems on the fly. But if customer service is not your forte, stick to delegating and take hospitality courses so your loyal customers don't feel like they have to be apologetic for having questions on a $11k quote. Sadly, a "could have been better" 2/5 star experience, wish we could stick with them. Pro tip, maybe ask to exclusively interface with the seasoned members of their crew with 5+ years of experience so you avoid any negativity and can actually get the work you need done.
