Shortly after, I started getting callbacks from other companies like Drain Mob and All American Plumbing and their quotes came in 30-40% lower for the same scope of work. That was frustrating. To be fair, Carlos seems knowledgeable and I don't have any complaints about the quality of the work itself which he deserves 5 stars. However, I do feel misled on the pricing (subtract 1 star) When I brought this up to him, instead of having a professional conversation and addressing the difference by offering to match their prices, he became defensive, raised his voice, and even called me "cheap." That response felt unprofessional and unnecessary (subtracted 2 more stars) Being told your rates are competitive when they're significantly above market and then being treated that way when you question it just doesn't sit right with me. If you're considering this company, I'd strongly recommend getting multiple quotes first so you can make a more informed decision.

Would highly recommend hiring Jesse to do your plumbing work! He does it the right way by using copper solder fittings, not the pro press fittings that are quicker and easier to install and tend to fail over time. He is quick to respond to your calls or texts. He installed a Moen automatic water shut off valve for us and then spent extra time calling Moen to go through the process of getting it programmed for us. He is licensed and does the work himself, with a helper. Most plumbers are not licensed and just work for a plumbing company that has a license. Even the big outfits you see on tv don't have licensed plumbers working for them. They could yank anyone off the street to do the work and that is legal in CA. Not only does Jesse do a professional job, he is also very personable. The kind of person you would invite into your home for a cup of coffee and conversation. It was a pleasant experience having him do our project. And on top of all that, his was the lowest estimate of the four that I got. read more

Jesse and his crew were awesome. They replaced my pressure reducing valve and main shutoff, installed a whole home filtration system, replaced my water softener, and replaced 2 hose bibs. I'm also going to have them back soon to replace my water heater. It was very clear to me that they will do whatever it takes to do the job right. They don't cut corners. For the filtration system they were sure to pay very close attention to the manufacturers instructions to ensure my warranty would remain valid if I ever had a problem. I called a plumber that I used previously but I was told they couldn't come out on a Saturday even though it was an emergency. I called SD Rooter and Jesse told me he could come out in a couple of hours. He came fixed the problem and made a recommendation about our main cut off valve. I'd scanned Yelp to find a plumber to replace my kitchen faucet. I contacted RDZ and after a nice call said yes, though of course I felt the price was too high, but where did I go to plumber's school? Then the phone calls started, some impersonating RDZ and some trying tp take the job. At that time I felt there was some scam going on, and eventually cancelled the job. Apparently I cancelled it with one of the usurpers and not RDZ. Thanks Yelp for sharing my number with so many other plumbers, I'd estimate at least 6. So poor RDZ was on their way, on a Saturday as requested and called to confirm, and I told them I'd cancelled the job. We were all upset but I'd found a local plumber who only works weekdays. I had an unusually available friend who drove from San Diego to open the house here in Julian, CA. I believe RDZ would have done a fine job were they not overwhelmed by Yelp-driven competition, to the point that just had to shut down the process. It's Friday night, I've had a long day at work and was getting ready to meet up with some friends…read morefor drinks. My kitchen sink had been intermittently draining slowly the last couple days but I didn't think much of it. As I was getting ready to leave I hear the sound of water gurgling as my neighbor ran her disposal. I ran over to the sink only to see the water backed up nearly to the top. At this point I knew it was an emergency and I needed professional help. I happened to find A&A in Yelp and they did not disappoint. Within 45 mins Alex had the drain apart and had cleared the clog. He also offered a synopsis of what the issue was and what the next steps are if it were to clog again. I was impressed by the responsiveness, promptness and value offered by this company. If you need a plumber and you're in a bind, A&A is the team to call!!
