We set up a time for Frankies Plumbing to uninstall a stacked washer and dryer. Frankie had been to…read morethe house previously and was aware of the project. There was a coordinated time because another contractor was coming right behind them. Frankie's technician arrived and hung around for a half an hour on the phone trying to figure out what to charge us. The technician needed help to remove the top appliance. After the tech wasted another few minutes I asked to talk to Frankie. (I called Frankie while the tech was at our house but he wouldn't pick up.). I asked the tech to call Frankie, and Frankie picked right up. Frankie is afraid of people and has a difficult time telling the truth. It was like his tech was putting the problem on us. The machines were stacked. I knew they didn't want to do the job when he came back with a quote of what is equivalent of about $250 per hour. Frankie gets rid of small jobs by over bidding. Frankie's plumbing is dishonest and they lack integrity. Frankie, is unable to take responsibility for his communication or his business practices. Frankie blames his father in law. Frankies Plumbing has been ripping off people in Mission Hills for too long. I would never recommend Frankies Plumbing. John Zukin

This 5 star review is specifically for the plumber who came and helped us with our situation, which…read morewas just a simple kitchen faucet replacement. After getting several quotes from other plumbers, ALL of whom bloated the price by trying to add an additional & totally unneeded repair (and one who also wanted to charge over $600 for the job! Are you kidding me?! Looking straight at ya, company that starts with a Tar- and ends with a -pee). So we went with Troy Plumbing who gave me a fair price quote online here on Yelp. When the plumber Rafael came out, he was honest and friendly, confirmed that nothing else was needed and he got started right away. He did a superb job, very efficient, cleaned up after he was done, and we are very happy with the install! Much like how a good honest auto mechanic is hard to find, it's the same with plumbers. When you find a great one, you hold on to them for a long as you can. As long as Raphael is there with Troy Plumbing, I'll go to them every time! Now, as far as their person who does the scheduling/appointments there, James...he caused a lot of undue stress on the day of the appointment and was very unprofessional. I sincerely hope I don't have to deal with him again, but I won't hold that against this company nor will I let that affect my score because Rafael was just that fantastic!

Fast response, very reasonable pricing, work fast and professionally. Will definitely use them againread more

Before he came in and we were walking through my garage and I asked him if he had shoe covers, he said"no but I can take my shoes off". He was in and out of my house a few times for supplies He didn't take his shoes off until nearly the end. He acknowledged he forgot to take his shoes off and he said " oh sorry I forgot you asked me to take the shoes off". The HOA said they would be responsible for payment if the pipe serviced multiple condos. I showed the technician where the pipe elbowed over into the next unit so that he could see multiple units were serviced by that pipe However, upon completing the repair, he told the HOA that the pipe was only the upstairs neighbor, forcing that person to have to pay instead of the HOA. I believe, dependable plumbing does whatever they can to keep the HOA from being responsible. You're better off hiring and unbiased plumber if you think it's an HOA issue.

First, they had an easy reservation system for online booking, I received a personal check in to confirm the appointment, they sent me a text to notify me when my technician Roby was on the way (and even included a photo so I knew who to expect at my door, which is much appreciated)! Just all around great communication and prompt responses from their office. Next, my technician Roby was so kind, knowledgeable and efficient. I appreciated that he was not only able to identify the problem quickly, but he explained what might have contributed to my garbage disposal needing replacement to avoid recurring issues in the future. While he was here, he also quickly fixed my toilet and even went above and beyond and helped me install my toilet seat when he saw that I had a new one sitting in the box in the corner of my bathroom! Really excellent customer service. And finally I also appreciate that he didn't try to upsell me or convince me that everything in my house needed replacing. He actually encouraged me to save money by showing me where to get my own disposal that he came back to install. Pricing was very fair for the work that was done. I will definitely be coming back to Happy Plumbing in the future, and I will be telling everyone I know to use them. Thanks Roby and team!
