After pushing back they proposed a second option for nearly $500 - this is to spend 30 minutes replacing the valve and flapper with a parts cost of $25 max from Home Depot. The work ended up being completed by a handyman for much less. Needless to say Exodus is never welcome on one of my properties again. The attempt to gouge by including extra scope is plain dishonesty and borderline fraud. I would exercise caution.

Their cleanup is spotless. They provide good explanations for all of their recommendations and repair methods. They solve difficult problems with sewer lines, especially cast-iron pipe lines in most homes over 40 years old. Relining the cast iron pipe before it leaks avoids the significant expense of replacing it when it is under the slab of your home. They are lined with a fiberglass sleeve that guarantees the pipe for an additional 20 years. It also replaces the cast iron pipe's jagged, rough surface with a smooth liner that reduces the risk of future clogging. They camera the pipe to identify all problem areas. They also re-camera the pipe after the sleeving to document that the repair has been completed satisfactorily. You get a copy of both videos. Highly recommend Javier from R&R!…read more Our bathroom had 2 issues. The shower had 2 points of discharge and water came out from both ends when we turn on the water. The control switch was not working properly and it appears to have something broken inside the switch. The second was the bathtub was dripping for months. Our property manager gave us some recommendation on handyman, and we reached out to a few others. Everyone of the handyman looked at the issues and said they couldn't do it. Javier from R&R was professional and friendly. He came, looked at the problems and gave us multiple options. We were told that our bathroom fixtures were on the older end, and replacement parts would be pretty slim. Javier said he would try his best to find ways to fix our problems, and if it can't be fix, then he would have to go with the full remove and replace option. Needless to say, the cheaper option would be less than half the price of the worst case scenario. We were presented with the cheaper options to be less than $1000, while the worst case scenario would be in the mid $2000 with our drywall cut open in order to do the fixture replacement. We would also had to then deal with redoing the drywall since that is not part of the company's scope of work. Javier came back after we accepted the estimate and was able to fix everything faster than I thought. To my surprised, he was able to find the replacement parts and fix everything. My experience with Javier and R&R has been exceptional. I highly recommend R&R to anyone with plumbing issue like i had.

I'd scanned Yelp to find a plumber to replace my kitchen faucet. I contacted RDZ and after a nice call said yes, though of course I felt the price was too high, but where did I go to plumber's school? Then the phone calls started, some impersonating RDZ and some trying tp take the job. At that time I felt there was some scam going on, and eventually cancelled the job. Apparently I cancelled it with one of the usurpers and not RDZ. Thanks Yelp for sharing my number with so many other plumbers, I'd estimate at least 6. So poor RDZ was on their way, on a Saturday as requested and called to confirm, and I told them I'd cancelled the job. We were all upset but I'd found a local plumber who only works weekdays. I had an unusually available friend who drove from San Diego to open the house here in Julian, CA. I believe RDZ would have done a fine job were they not overwhelmed by Yelp-driven competition, to the point that just had to shut down the process.
