From the start my 8k+ order had many hiccups like screws missing, one side of the king adjustable bed not working, and customer support not replying to my email. Maybe I was just having bad luck, honestly still not sure. But throughout the whole ordeal, Casper Melrose staff always picked up my calls and tried to help resolve the issues. One staff who really went above and beyond was Avelino. He followed up and kept in contact with me throughout the whole process. He listened without interrupting and stayed true to his words. Casper Melrose offers the most amazing buying experience. My guy and I tried all of the mattresses and bases with fresh pillow cases and bedcovers for each bed we napped on. Tiny rooms with curtains offer a more than realistic bedroom experience and we almost fell asleep before we made our decision and purchase. Our sales person, Milton, was amazing and so kind and helpful. He did say our delivery would take a bit of time seeing as I wanted the white glove delivery with assembly, but not even one week later my bed is already for my first night's sleep. The sale running currently is amazing and I was able to purchase all new bedding and pillows and more at about 50% off for Labor Day. Run, don't walk, and try out the beds at Casper. Casper came on the scene a few years ago and has grown to become a household name. So many people ask us but the Casper mattress is unrelated to Casper the Friendly Ghost cartoons. We visited the store on Melrose to put the three different Casper mattresses to the test. The Casper mattress is not a memory foam mattress like the famous Temperpedic. Casper only contains a layer of memory foam at the bottom per the sales staff. It's basically a foam mattress. Our feelings this: There is no reason to buy a Casper, and no reason not to buy one. Come to the store and try it out and if one of the three models works you and your budget, get it. Sales staff was excellent. They have all the beds here and you can lay on them. Wear loose clothes like you would wear to bed. They probably won't allow you to test sex out on them, but ask you never know. Prices range from 500 to 1800 depending on size and model. Personally, I prefer a memory foam hybrid medium bed from Temperpedic. But beds are so personal, you have to try them out yourself. Good luck. Poor customer service. I walked in and waited to be helped. When it was my turn , the representative rushed in helping me. Then proceeded to help another person who came into the store after me. Another customer service representative appeared shortly after and took a phone call rather than helping me. I left the store because the service was poor. Additionally, the beds were filthy. Execellent customer service and policies! I've been suffering from neck pain for years and have tried various expensive pillows to help me sleep at night. (Brookstone and Parachute). I was surprised at the extremely reasonable prices and 30 day guarantee! I had to make a purchase, and SO glad I did! I got the original Casper foam pillow, and have slept soundly ever since! Came in to look for a mattress and left with a mattress, frame, pillow, and sheets! Regina was amazing, she greeted us within 5 seconds of us walking in. She made us feel welcome and from there we knew we'd be in great hands. Regina gave us a detailed description of each item and really tried to find the one that would be the best fit for us. Not only was she an AMAZING sales person, but she was also such a great person with great energy. This store manipulates you to buy a more expensive mattress. A friend recommended I buy their Original mattress. I went to the store. Mind you it was a drive across town to try the mattress. Only to find out they don't have the Original mattress at the store. Just the more expensive mattresses. The store manager discouraged me from buying the Original mattress saying it was the most returned mattress. I told her a close friend bought it and loves it. I left the store and went to a Sit-N-Sleep which carries Casper mattresses. They have the Original mattress. I went there and tried it and I kid you not it was more comfortable than their expensive mattresses. Casper manipulates the consumer. I stopped in here to try out a mattress I had only ever seen online. I ended up walking out with a new bed! Eric there was super helpful helping me decide which mattress mattress was right for me, and was patient as I tried them out. He talked me through the differences and which ones are better for certain body types. He even helped me load the mattress, frame, and foundation into my car before buying just to make sure it fit before I made the purchase (and offered a free shipping option if it wouldn't have - but it did!) We walked in the store looking for a queen bed and the entire experience is what mattress shopping should be all about. Walter greeted us and made us feel comfortable right away. The store had small rooms where you can lay and relax as long as you want on the different models. Walter was great at explaining the features of each model and Casper's return policy. We ended up buying one on the spot, but did not feel any pressure at all or like we were being hassled in any way. I work in sales, so I was relieved not to have to deal with the usual tactics and pressure. There was NONE of that here. read more

I ended up buying a pillow and a mattress from this location. They have an interesting process for you to try mattresses. You get to try each type of bed in a small room with a curtain that closes and you can take a few minutes to lay on it and settle in with your pillow. I tried all of the mattresses they had and ended up going with the hybrid. It came in the mail and that was a whole process to unbox. All of their items are squished in packaging so will take a few days to really settle into their natural state. After sleeping on a foam pillow, you feel like regular pillows don't give you the same support. I think the mattress wasn't too much of an upgrade from my old mattress but the idea of a foam mattress feels more updated so if you need to replace an old mattress you've had for over a decade, this isn't a bad option. It's not a tempurpedic but it's a good compromise between spending that much more for a new mattress and saving the money and keeping your ancient outdated mattress. They have a parking lot behind the store. read more

My lady and I got the 4th of July sale of an Original Casper mattress, bed frame and bedding materials. It was a good deal. However the site pushes you to buy the original mattress. We got it and it was just too firm. I'm sure it's great for other people, but not for us. We ended up going to the store to try out other ones and found the Hybrid to be what we needed. All the people along the way we dealt with were great but truly the person that knew exactly what was up and had the most easy going personality, positive attitude, and worked to get us what we needed as fast as possible was Nyesha Brown-Love. The COVID safety protocols are excellent. Masks, gloves, distancing, sanitization and each customer has temporary pillow and bed coverings. I felt very comfortable. More-so, Walter was wonderful! My experience was at this store was amazing. After a long day of moving apartments, I realized that I needed a new bed urgently. I called the Melrose store forty minutes before the store's closing and was greeted by the cheerful voice of Regina, the store's associate manager. She literally promised to hang tight while I made my way to the store. Not only did I have the opportunity to try every bed with no rush (taking us to a bit after closing hours!), Regina answered everyone of my questions thoughtfully, knowledgeably and with a great sense of humor. Buy ONLY if you are able to carry 50+ pounds of mattress (and anything else you buy) from the store AND DON'T need any customer service after sales. Don't hand over the money unless you have your product in hand. I'm on the brink of cancelling my order because Casper and its vendor XPO Logistic cannot figure out how to deliver the mattress and foundation together when I literally live two blocks from the store. When I made the purchase, I specifically asked the mattress and foundation to be delivered together and the old mattress be removed. I don't have the strength or the car to be able to do so myself, so I paid Casper an additional ~$200 for this service. A week ago, XPO delivered the mattress without the foundation and refused to take out the old mattresses. Last week, I spoke with two different Casper agents (phone and online chat) to resolve this issue. Both assured me that they would follow up with XPO and get back to me in two business days as I reached out on a Saturday. After a week of hearing no response from Casper, I reached out again today. Today's agent told me the same thing, but did follow up with an email. So now I have 4 ways of contacting Casper customer services, but no commitment that the products and services I paid for will be delivered/performed. For those curious about the COVID precautions, the sales experience was fine and pleasant. It looks like staff took all the necessary precautions. Only two employees were inside the store when I was there. It was disappointing that the store did not have the Original Hybrid (with inner spring) mattress for people to try. Both Original mattresses (all foam and hybrid) were highly rated by consumer report. I visited the store for the sole purpose to decide which one is better suited for me. It was a bit disappointing that I wasn't able to do that. The store did have Hybrid's of the more expensive mattresses, but those aren't a good comparison as those other mattresses have more layers. As someone who weighs less than 140 pounds, the more expensive mattress did not conform to my spine as much as due to the extra layers (as told to me by the store employees). read more

I am so disappointed in my experience here. I bought a mattress in store over two weeks ago after the staff told me about their free delivery and in-home set-up. I just started a new job and work long hours, and they assured me I could schedule a delivery time in the evening as late as 9 pm, and that I would get a call from the delivery company a few days before the delivery date to choose a time window. I hear nothing from them until I get an email where I could schedule the delivery date. I selected a weekday based on my conservation with the salespeople that I could select a time. The delivery date approached and still I received no call. Then, literally the morning of the delivery date, I received a text saying the mattress would be delivered around noon--the exact situation I sought to avoid. I called the delivery company, making me late for work, who told me they never have customers pick the delivery window and wouldn't let me reschedule. The customer service at Casper was totally laughable and I've now wasted 2 hours dealing with this. Now I'm out the $2500 they were more than happy to accept over two weeks ago with an apparently undeliverable mattress. I do not recommend. read more

My wife and I have been looking for a new mattress to replace our Tempur-Pedic. After visiting three name brand stores we visited the Casper Mattress Store in West Hollywood. As we entered the store, we noticed how welcoming was the decor. We were greeted by a friendly salesman who invited us to try three of their mattresses beginning at the low end plus two higher models. The second we tried the low end mattress, we felt how comfortable it was but decided to try the other two models. It was difficult to choose since they were all extremely comfortable. We finally chose the high end mattress. The salesman fully explained the pricing and the available discounts and services and the warranty. We were sold. What a pleasant experience especially after having visited three other name brand stores! We would highly recommend this Casper Mattress Store not only for the excellent sales process but the comfort and quality of their mattresses, and at much lower prices than their highly-advertised competitors. read more
