This is a later review of the mattress I reviewed here on 6/11/2023. I purchased a Diamond mattress from Jared's at the end of May, 2023 and have been so happy with the mattress. This is the best mattress I have ever had. My back no longer hurts when I wake up in the morning. The mattress I selected was delivered after they made it at their manufacturing plant in Rancho Dominguez, CA and the delivery people did great as well. Customer Service was honestly fantastic all the way through....until a Synchrony card came in the mail after my purchase of the bed to make my payments to. I asked if the "pay over time" was a system like Klarna/Bread or a credit card (as I did on the day of purchase as well) and was reassured that it was not a credit card. After calling and speaking to the Synchrony rep, I can confirm that they opened a credit card in my name to make the purchase over time. I had opened a new credit card weeks before, so had I known that they were going to do that, I never would have chosen that option to avoid such an untimely hard hit to my credit and and unwanted credit card in my name. Overall I don't think this is a malicious move, but you have to know what you are doing when dealing with other people's finances and credit. If not for this incident, its 5 stars. read more
