Bought an organic mattress from Nest years ago with a lifetime warranty the coils have failed creating a 3 " hump in the center of a king bed. Their customer service rep stated the old manufacturer had issues with adhesives and will replace it through their new manufacturer. This has been going on for 12 weeks now. Called nest today and they state they no longer make an organic mattress and they assume the original manufacturer is making a new one although that's in direct contrast to what we were told previously. Do not buy a mattress from this company! The top layer of my mattress bubbled up after just 6 months of use. Then the whole mattress bowed in from me sleeping on it (I weigh 195 lbs). The "lifetime warranty" wouldn't cover it because it is on an ikea bed frame and not their bed frame. I'll start by saying that I love my new Easy Breather pillow. But the service and communication from Nest was SO EGREGIOUS, that I can't even summon anything but a single star for them. The whole experience started with the overwhelming incompetence of the sales person that helped me. She was super nice and friendly, but: A) when I asked if the pillow was on sale, she said no, and I had to point it out on the website. B) I told her I wanted a standard sized pillow and she gave me a queen. Didn't discover that until I got all the way home and found that my pillowcases didn't fit. C) She got my shipping address wrong for the bedding I ordered that they didn't have in stock, and I had to ask her to go back into the order so I could look at it myself. Sure enough, it was incomplete. D) She promised that the additional bedding that needed to be shipped would come "super fast--in like 3 days." It didn't. And 5 days later when I checked on it, turns out it was totally sold out. I tried calling the store to see if they had a standard-sized pillow in stock so I could come back and get the right one. Good luck getting them to answer the phone. I called the store at least 10x on a weekday during business hours and no one ever picked up. I mean, how busy could they have been??? Decided to just keep the pillow rather than spending an hour in the car there and back to replace it, risking that I'd get there and they wouldn't even have a standard in stock. Then I tried to reach out to Nest's main customer service number about the bedding I'd ordered. They're also not so into answering the phone. I tried maybe 5x and got no one. I finally got through to someone on chat (which I could only get to by clicking the email link to check my order status) and someone responded and said that the bedding was now out of stock in their main warehouse, but they had one in stock in the Seattle store and would ship it off to me "either today or tomorrow." I was assured I would have it within 3-4 days. Again I waited...and nothing arrived. I contacted Nest again through chat, and was told that my order was "in process," but there was no definition of what that meant and when I could expect to receive the bedding. I asked about the stuff that they were going to send from Seattle. She didn't know about that. All she could tell me was that my order was definitely "in process" and that "production is doing their best." Okay, so I get that there are supply chain issues now and other issues that are delaying products, but TWO separate Nest employees told me that they had the bedding in stock and it would be shipped the next day. And if issues arose, that's fine! Just don't lie to me, and also, COMMUNICATE! A simple automated email saying that it would be delayed would have sufficed. (Which is exactly what I got from Avocado down the street when their pillows were delayed during the holidays. I actually got two follow-up messages from Avocado.) I finally, out of frustration, and through chat, of course, because that's the only way to reach a Nest employee without physically walking into a store, asked them to cancel the order and issue a refund. What a colossal waste of time and energy. I'd be really cautious about buying anything from Nest that you can't carry out of the store yourself. read more

I did my research and opted to drop no more than $2k or so on a new queen mattress. I walked down to Nest, and received excellent guidance and information from the staff. No pushy sales tactics, no nonsense at all. I even got 2 free pillows, brilliant!! And, okay, I couldn't leave without getting my pooch a new Nest doggie bed too, come on!? The mattress arrived a few weeks later, and thankfully my son, a body builder, was home to help bring it up to my 2nd floor condo. It was excruciatingly heavy. That being said, I slept on the new mattress last night, and I kid you not - I woke this morning for the first time in ages with no aches! I've added a star because the owner has removed the misleading description on the duvet cover. He is still saying that they carry USA-made sheets, but there aren't any on his website. Maybe they carry another brand in the stores, but I didn't see any when I was in there. Honestly, it doesn't matter as much to me where they were made, but that the company be transparent about it. He's saying that the manager knew that they weren't made in the USA, which means she was lying to me when she confirmed several times that the sheets were made in Phoenix with materials sourced overseas. I would prefer to think that he is wrong, and she was misinformed by upper management, or was having an off day. I appreciate the offer for a sheet set, but I don't think I would be very welcomed in their store after this review read more

I have no complaints about their product and quality. I love my mattress. And I know I shouldn't rule out a company based on one terrible employee. But you wonder why this location has one star reviews in between the five stars until..... I walked in a few weeks ago and purchased an owl mattress & other bedding products. I didn't feel comfortable about the sales representative but didn't have a choice since he was the only one there. When I walked in, store was empty, no one in sight. After about 10 mins, a guy pokes his head from upstairs with a coffee cup in his hands. He didn't come down the stairs to greet me but rather asked from upstairs asking what I was looking for. This was already off to a great start. I felt as if I trespassed in his home rather than walking into a store to make a purchase. I felt really uncomfortable but I had just moved into a new home and was in need to make a decision on a mattress. I was in the avocado mattress store just ten mins before, which was a pleasant experience-- and wanted to compare the products. I've asked the sales rep if there was any promotion going on, he said no. He recommended that I buy that day bc price was going up soon. I did fall in love with one of their mattress so I purchased it along with pillows and blankets. After making my purchases, as I was walking out- I saw a sign that read something along the lines of "two free pillows or bedding with a purchase of mattress." I was wondering why he didn't offer me this promotion and pretty much lied to me, but I didn't really like the guy- so I wanted save the conflict & decided to make a call next day to talk to someone else. Next day, I called the store and same guy picks up the phone. At this point, I wondered if this guy is the only person running this location. Then 2-3 days later, their Memorial Day sale with 25% off & 2 free pillows promotion appeared. I went back recently to return some bedding items and mustered up a courage to ask the same guy (yes he was the only one in the store again!) why I wasn't offered the same promotion as others. He immediately got defensive to the maximum and kept circling around my question without an answer. After awhile of this, I just couldn't entertain it anymore so I asked him if I could speak with a manager. I figured this sort of questions are usually left for a manager anyways. He refused to call the manager for me, and basically called me a liar saying the sign I saw was never there...! He started to interrogate me with so much arrogance, and kept refusing to put me in touch with a manager but threatened that he will call the police if I don't leave the store. Excuse me?!! What mattress store company sales rep threatens you with a police call when all you want is to be in touch with a manager? Not sure why I was being threatened to leave? And he actually called the police!!!! First thing he says to the police is "this Asian woman is yelling in the store and won't leave, I feel threatened" why does my race matter? Do I smell racial discrimination? Or a sexual discrimination? Or both? Funny thing is, he called his manager immediately after to tell his version of the story. Wow. I was honestly lost for words! Why didn't he connect me to his manager when I initially had asked? Super childish behaviors, way far from being professional. Rude, entitled, disrespectful, and racism are four vocabulary words that comes to mind. We live in 2022 and every customer reserves their rights to ask for fairness, and questioning why never hurt no one! Why was I punished for this in this store and why do this amazing quality of a company let their lousy employee ruin their company image? Why did he refuse to connect me with his manager in the first place, and why did I have to explain myself to the police? Even the police thought this was a complete waste of their time. Nest bedding, pls train your employees on racial & sexual sensitivity of the world that we currently live in!!! And thank you to the store manager I finally got in touch with by calling 1-888 number to resolve the matter. More that I think on this incident, more sad and stressful I feel. Ordered our Alexander Signature Hybrid through their website to be delivered at the home we just bought. The website runs smoothly and email updates are sent out when needed. Unfortunately, they use FedEx for their shipments and that is where things went south. My package got lost for two days and FedEx kept lying to me about the whereabouts. Loving our latex! Bed that is. It's been an adjustment, without a doubt, but we are thrilled with our choice. We bought a new bed a few years ago... typical coils, pillow top from a well known brand. It barely lasted 5 years. Major bumps and lumps, and being a pillow top we couldn't flip it! Prior to that, we had a tempurpedic memory foam which we moved to the guest bedroom. I'll be vague; those are comfortable but can be hot and they do off gas a lot for those who are sensitive. It left our backs sore on occasion and just are not great for couples. Our guests rave about sleeping in it though so it's perfect for that room and if you're only sleeping on it occasionally. In order to avoid a repeat in another 5 years, I did a ton of research before this purchase. Apparently latex beds are one of the longest lasting (who knew?), they have minimal off gassing (yay!), tend to be firm (good for lousy backs like ours), and naturally run cool. Perfect! I was willing to spend a lot on this mattress because my husband and I need a solid mattress for our backs but when I discovered NestBedding, I learned I didn't need to spend a fortune to buy a quality bed. I came across NestBedding when I decided a latex bed made the most sense for us. Their pricing is very good, i was happy to see there was a location near us to try the bed, they have a stellar return policy (100 nights), their warranty is like 5 or 10 years (wow!) and the top layer of latex can be swapped out of it dents! You unzip and can replace that panel on each side of the mattress. That was important to me after our negative experience with the pillow top denying etc. Finally, I was also extremely impressed with the construction of the mattress. It is American made (I'm patriotic). As stated, I love the replaceable latex portion. Inside, the coils operate individually and are individually insulated/wrapped. That means if one fails, unlike with traditional coil mattresses, it doesn't affect the entire bed. It's isolated and unnoticeable to the sleeper. There's also a cooper gel section inside the mattress which wicks away heat. Living in SoCal, sleeping cool is an important factor for quality of life. Additionally when it is shipped to you, it comes like a Casper. Vacuum sealed/rolled up in a FedEx box. We figured if it can be twisted up like that and still not be damaged this is one durable mattress. One note, I really did not believe Genevieve when she said it's an adjustment to sleep on a latex constructed mattress. I've slept in hotels and never needed to "adjust" to a bed but she was so right!!! It took my body sometime to adjust to the stiffness, mainly my shoulders. Also, it's not as luxurious of a feel as a mattress that envelops you. We did consider briefly purchasing their foam mattress which has an extremely enveloping sense to it which I adored but my husband pointed out my back would be sore in the morning and he was right. I'm not hating on their foam beds, I think for the right person they'd be great but if you have back issues, I cannot recommend the latex more. Give it time, adjust to it and I think you'll really reap the benefits. I did not expect my quality of sleep to improve so dramatically but it did after switching to this bed. We're thrilled with it! Last note, you really do need the right frame for this bed. We had a quality bed frame but the slats bowed which does impact the mattress. Take their advice with the frame. It'll pay off with regards to your sleep quality. I also am in love with their pillows. They are beyond comfortable. If you are in the market for a bed, check out NestBedding. You've got nothing to lose and they don't do a hard sell. They don't need to because the mattresses sell themselves. read more

BYE BYE PURPLE MATTRESS HELLO NEST BEDDING! I just got my Alexander Signature Soft Mattress and I LOVE IT!!! I've never had such an amazing mattress. When I lay on the mattress, it hugs me in all the right places and gives me support where I need it. I feel like they actually made me a custom nest for my body! I had the Purple Mattress before, and after Nest Bedding, I realize how uncomfortable the Purple Mattress was. Purple sells you a slab of rubber with holes in it and markets it as a bed. Nest sells you the Rolls Royce of mattresses with the finest materials at an affordable price. Don't fall for Purple's creative marketing. if you're looking to buy a bed, buy a real bed from Nest. If you're looking to buy a science experiment, buy a mattress from Purple. Even better, Nest customer service is AMAZING. I called in and spoke to Amber because I had some concerns with being a little warm at night, probably because of the mattress protector I was using (which I purchased from Purple) and she sent me the Nest Cooling Mattress Protector (which I'm very excited to try) FOR FREE!! You can't beat a company that cares about the products they make, and the customers that buy it. Beds are different for everybody, some people like Purple but I definitely prefer Nest Bedding. I read through all the biased sites and forums and it became apparent that the best thing to do was try out the mattresses and support a local shop. I had my heart set on the Alexander Signature series but actually walked out with the hybrid model after my wife found it to be more comfortable (I don't get to have what I want these days). Josh was super helpful, not pushy, and it was a very relaxed environment where you can spend a lot of time. One thing he made a suggestion of trying was using the phone while in bed and I didn't think of it myself but that's a great thing to do because that's just what we tend to do a lot these days. There is no pressure when you shop here and this review is completely unsolicited. The online discounts were all applied in store. We picked up a mattress protector as well and he even threw in a free set of sheets they were getting rid of. A week or so ago, we bought a Reverie adjustable frame and a mattress from Nest Bedding on Montana Avenue in Santa Monica. They were delivered a couple days ago, and we couldn't be happier with the whole process, including the products. Tracy was our contact in the store. She was knowledgable and responsive, and had, for us, just the right touch: not pushy or hard-sell, but quick to answer our many questions about the products. We had already been to 4 other stores and had researched adjustable frames and mattresses thoroughly. So we knew a good deal when we saw one, and the adjustable frames and mattresses at Nest were both high quality and priced fairly, in fact materially lower than four other stores in the area that we had visited. We purchased the bedding electronically a couple days after our in-store visit. We had numerous questions for Tracy after we left the store, both before and after we bought the bedding. We dealt with almost all of those questions via email. Tracy was invariably quick to respond, and her answers were straightforward and quickly resolved each issue. The "white glove" delivery also was very smooth. The two gentlemen who delivered the bedding, Jeff and Eddie, were courteous, careful not to cause any damage as they brought it up to our second-floor bedroom, and quick to install it, checking with us at each step to be sure we were satisfied with the placement and installation. We waited 4 days to get a call from the delivery company to set up a time and day. After 4 phone calls to the store, I still never received a call from the delivery company (turns out it is just 1 guy that does the deliveries and setup). I was very nervous buying an all foam mattress at first due to getting very hot at night, and usually I get cold very easily, and I know my parents had bad experiences with their Tempurpedic mattress and getting hot/sweaty when it came to sleeping. I had done my research on all the different "beds in a box" and the various foam mattress companies that are currently on the market right now through Sleepopolis.com and came across Nest Bedding. We noticed a lot of foam mattress companies have amazing return policies and saw Nest Bedding had a 100 day return policy. My fiancé didn't want to buy a bed he couldn't try out, so I found out that Nest bedding actually had store locations in Los Angeles in Santa Monica and Studio City, so we checked the Santa Monica store first, and Brooke helped us out. We decided to go with the Alexander Signature Series in Medium after trying out the Alexander Signature, the Love Bed, and the Alexander Signature Hybrid. We felt this would fit our needs the most since we're both side sleepers and it seemed the most comfortable when laying on it. Brooke helped us out with all of our questions and wasn't pushy when we visited the Santa Monica store. We waited a few weeks to purchase since we weren't living in our new home yet, and then went to the Studio City store since it was closer in distance to us to purchase the bed, the metal platform frame, and their Easy Breather Pillows (which is amazing!!!). I loved that our King sized mattress didn't cost a fortune compared to most mattress stores that charge $2000-$4000+ for a King sized Mattress, the Alexander Signature Series in a King came out to $1399 (plus applicable taxes)! Plus the Alexander Signature Series Mattresses have a 20-Year Warranty, that really shocked me because I feel most companies don't stand behind their products. I also loved the fact that their mattresses are made of natural and organic material. When we finally got the mattress delivered, it was easy to set up, just cut open the plastic and let the mattress expand. I was still nervous to sleep on it because I know a lot of foam mattress tend to sleep hot, but after one night I didn't wake up one time sweating, and had a good night's rest and no aches or pain in the morning, like I had with our previous spring mattress we had bought a while ago. Since we got this mattress, I've been falling asleep super easily, and it's just super comfortable and never any aches or pain! I haven't been sleeping hot or waking up in a sweat either and even when I'm laying on it doing work on my laptop I easily fall asleep on this mattress just because of how comfortable it is.
