I recently purchased a mattress for my guest room. Richard was extremely helpful. He even helped me move my Peloton out of the room during delivery. My guests have been happy with the mattress. I will definitely come back here for a mattress again. It was nice supporting a family business, he was patient with all my questions, and I didn't even feel pressure to purchase right away. read more

Sergio has been a great help with choosing my mattress. The pricing here is very reasonable as I toured a couple mattress stores prior to coming. With Sergio's help, it was reassuring I was choosing a mattress that fit to the preferences I wanted along with meeting my budget. read more

MattressStop was having a grand opening. Just went to look around but actually got a great deal on a new mattress. Was delivered 2 days after purchase. Excellent customer service very friendly and knowledgeable employees. read more

There are a few reasons to choose this mattress store over all the many others you'll find in LA. I originally shopped at their La Cienega location mainly because it was nearby but when we decided to upgrade to a king size, I went out of my way to head to their new location because of the brand Spinal Care Bedding. This brand makes great mattresses and they are so much more reasonably priced than the big name brands! I hope they continue making mattresses for a long time because they are literally the absolute best!! That's the first reason to shop here, the second is that the owner is truly such a nice guy. He really helped us out, I told him the brand I wanted, size, firmness level, price range, and what type of mattress we would be switching from so it wasn't too much of a drastic change. He basically told us exactly what we should get and discounted it to fit the budget. When life is crazy and you don't have all the time in the world to research and shop around, it's nice to have someone who knows what they are doing just make the decision for you. And let me be clear, it wasn't pushed on us, we welcomed the input! So I highly recommend this place and also spinal care bedding! read more

My wife wanted a new mattress and had done her homework. She knew exactly what she wanted. Since it was Presidents Day weekend, there were mattress sales everywhere. We decided to start here and test a few. When we walked in, she told the salesperson her criteria, and he steered her to one he thought she'd like. She laid down on it for a couple of minutes, stood up, and said, "I'll take it." And she is picky, too. We were in and out in less than ten minutes (the fastest sale ever) and got a great deal for the pillow top mattress, box, and frame for around $2,000. They delivered it two days later, and she is sleeping like a baby now. Thank you, Mattress Stop! read more

My boyfriend and I were desperately in need for a new boxspring. I spoke to Richard on the phone the day before and he assured me that they could show me a boxspring that would be within my price range. My boyfriend and I went in the next day I met the delightful Sergio. I told him what we needed and he quoted us a price that was even better than I expected. It was quick and easy. It was like buying something from a family member's business. When I'm ready for a new mattress, I will certainly visit Mattress Stop. You can clearly see by all the five star reviews that this business is when that you can trust and I highly recommend them! Mattress Stop, Sergio, and Richard are the best. Thank you! We love our new box spring!!! Kelly read more

Serigo is so nice, knowledgable, and helpful. He made the experience simple and easy -- even though mattress shopping is usually such a headache. Store had great selection and best prices! Really a gem in the neighborhood. I recommend to everyone-- whether you know what you are looking for or do not (I was somewhere in between but definitely more of a novice). Seriously, it doesn't get better. I personally went to other stores to compare, and Mattress Stop was far superior in every respect. If you see this, thank you so much Sergio and happy holidays! read more

We purchased a mattress here about four months ago, but I wanted to wait until we really tested it out before leaving a review. I'm very particular when it comes to mattresses, so I tried quite a few before deciding. Sergio was fantastic--super friendly, patient, and never pushy about making a sale. He thoroughly explained the differences between pillow tops, memory foam, and hybrids, showing just how knowledgeable he is. We ended up getting a great mattress at an excellent price, and the delivery process was smooth and hassle-free. Highly recommend! read more

I can't express how amazing Richard was. He was so considerate, honest, helpful and insightful. He gave us such a fair price for everything, plus delivery. There was a great selection of beds as opposed to a few others in the area. This definitely beat the others by a mile in so many areas. We are 100% going back to him for the next mattress and bed frame for the kid. You will not regret buying here. we love our Tempur-Pedic. read more

Sergio helped me and my wife pick out the perfect mattress. He wasn't the person who was trying to sell us things we didn't need. Instead he helped us decide which bed was the best and what the differences were between beds. His explanations were super simple, short and concise. He was super friendly and am glad that I came here. Would 100% recommend anyone who needs a mattress. He also gave us a really good discount and free stuff. read more

I needed a new mattress asap. I went online and checked everything, asked friends who all told me that their place was "the best". My sister who has multiple homes (buys a lot of mattresses) suggested mattress stop, but I was still planing on buying online until I happened to drive by Mattress stop today and pulled over to check and see whats up. There are so many options it can be overwhelming. Especially for a big purchase. I am not rich and didnt have much to spend but wanted something great, something that would last. I was committed to buying online until i walked in to mattress stop and spoke to Sergio. He was INCREDIBLE, SO HELPFUL AND PATIENT. I found what I liked and as I needed it asap, my cat had been sick and peed all over my current mattress (so i had to spend last night on the couch) he worked with me to make sure the price was right and the delivery was so fast. I was so overwhelmed with the idea of buying a new mattress, I mean you use it everyday and what is more important than sleep! Sergio really understood and made sure everything worked for me. I am so grateful and appreciate Sergio. While I was going to buy online I figured there is no way the delivery could match what mattress stop was offering and the price was actually less expensive for the same quality. I am so grateful and recommend Mattress stop to all angelenos. What an amazing experience, as a consumer there isnt much more you can ask for than what they offered, HAVING EVERYTHING TAKEN CARE OF! I will receive my mattress Tuesday, a day after purchase with free delivery and removal of my old one. I am so happy. Thank you Sergio for your amazing help and time, I will continue to give you my business and recommend to everyone I can. read more

I can't tell you how first class this place is! Sergio was very helpful and took the time, even after closing to educate us on our purchase. He did not steer us to a mattress that was more expensive, but one that fitted our needs. This is my first new night on my mattress. From business to delivery these guys are truly exceptional. Thank you guys! Cheers, Chaz read more

this is the worst mattress store in LA. They cary poorly made mattresses that they over charge for go to I mattress on Beverly instead.

David was great! I really felt like he was trying to help us find what we wanted/needed and not just sell us the most expensive mattress. He was very patient with my teenager and helped him try different mattresses and sleep positions. We visited multiple shops on this day and this place was the best, by far! And it's always great to support local business! read more

These guys are truly wonderful! I needed a new bed for my 90 year old mother who is on a deep budget, living on SS only. I live on the other side of the country and Sergio and Richard were simply amazing. I first bought a bed from Sergio who completely understood all the needs of someone that old. He suggested a great bed at a price within my mom's super tight budget. When I flew into town, I tested that bed then thought I should test some others just to confirm that was the most comfortable one in that price range and it was hands down the best bed. SO comfy! So we got her that bed and she is SO HAPPY. Fast forward to a year later and we need another bed for me to sleep on in the guest room when I go to LA to help my mother. Richard hooked us up big time for the same exact bed at an even better price which was so important and helpful to us. These guys really do care about the people they serve. Give them a call or visit. They are amazing! read more

It's hard to imagine better customer service and expertise than you'll find at Mattress Stop. I highly recommend talking to the salesperson Tina, in particular, who politely and smartly guided my wife and I towards a purchase I know we'll be happy with for 10 years or more. Like many people, I know practically nothing about mattresses, making it important to find an honest place that will educate me while guiding me towards a choice which fits my desires and my budget. When I walked into Mattress Stop, I was overwhelmed by the huge range of mattresses available, ignorant of nearly all the industry terms, and worried that I was sending myself foolishly into the lion's den of salesmanship. But, within about 2 minutes, I realized that I had just had a spot of great luck: I'd found precisely the rare type of place that will patiently educate the customer with everything they need to know, then give them space to make their own decision, and try to make the best possible deal in the end. For me, this is the no-hassle dream, and that dream lives at Mattress Stop! It was enormously refreshing, and I highly recommend it. The salesperson Tina melted away all the confusion, quickly explained mattress construction and the various options, and then answered questions with endless patience as my wife and I bounced from mattress to mattress, sharing our feedback and picking her brain. This allowed us to try sample every mattress in the house with plenty of time to scrutinize our options: just the sort of thing that lets a person know they made the right decision, with absolutely zero noise in the way of sales tactics. Tina was the perfect person to connect with, and I'm so glad we stopped by when we did!! Their selection was huge: about 50 mattresses, foam, spring, or hybrid, all in the mid-to-high quality range (read: no junk) and all name-brand. In the end, we arrived at a slightly more expensive mattress than we'd anticipated, but the price was actually BETTER than the very best sale price for the same mattress *anywhere online*. I was already happy with the experience, but by that I was amazed. I have absolutely no reason to go anywhere else, ever again! Try it and see for yourself! read more

So helpful. David is hilarious and makes this process of buying a mattress simple and enjoyable. I had a great experience here! I have already bought another mattress from this place in 2018 and its so good i have come back for more! read more

Service is incomparable, Sergio is the BEST!!!!!!! Make sure to stop by for any mattress needs. best prices too!!!!!!!!

Customer service was good despite the weird drug-addict lingerers that loitered during my visit (inside) the store. Unprofessional reflection on the business and made me uncomfortable. One-person staff did his best however. read more

Came here for a mattress and Tina was incredibly helpful. Got a great deal and have a mattress I'm really enjoying. Highly recommend.

Sergio is awesome! I've been on the mattress hunt for a while, and it wasn't the most fun experience at other stores. Sergio was very objective in helping us find a mattress to our liking without pushing us in either direction, and he even gave us a really good deal on a floor model adjustable bed frame. I'm SO HAPPY my hunt for a mattress is over, and I can't thank Sergio enough. If you too are on the hunt for a mattress, definitely give this place a shot. read more

Sergio is amazing. Had been looking at mattresses for awhile and Sergio took the time to show me the differences of the mattresses I had questions about. Such great service and don't look any further Sergio from mattress stop is the best in town by far. read more

I was flying across the country to take care of several things for my 88 year old mother. She desperately needs a new mattress and I really had no idea where to start since I havent lived in LA for 20 years. I checked out Yelp and chose this place SPECIFICALLY because of all the rave reviews about Sergio. OMG I am here to tell you - he is as wonderful as everyone else has said! He took amazing care of me, suggested a mattress for mom (he works with several assisted living facilities and he knows what kinds of mattresses older peeps like). Just to be sure, I tried several other mattresses and he was right the first time. It was perfect and he took such great care of us with her limited budget, too! He reduced the price to help us and I made the purchase. Sergio is AMAZING! read more

We haven't purchased a mattress here yet, but the shopping experience at this smallish store was very positive. I hate mattress shopping - hate it. I don't feel comfortable just lying down in public... maybe that's weird but it just feels super intimate to me. And I'm not convinced that a 30-second lie down will accurately allow me to judge if I'm going to love this mattress enough to sleep on it for 10 years. I especially hate some of the high pressure salespeople you find at larger mattress stores - it's almost like buying a car! Mattress Stop is smaller than the big chains and there was only one salesperson there when we visited (on Labor Day). Their prices are around the same or a little better than the larger chain stores we visited, but the experience is much better - not as much "buy now buy now" going on. The selection is small but well cultivated - they have the top sellers and brands in prices ranging from "budget" (which in mattress land seems to be around $1,000 for a King bed) to "premium" (several thousand dollars). When you check in on Yelp, you get an offer for free delivery. Parking lot in the back - enter through a supper narrow alley on La Cienega. After a few hours of mattress shopping at the super stores, come here and you'll be relieved. And ready for a nap, which is convenient. read more

Simply put.. Mattress Stop makes mattress selection and delivery easy. With Southern California being as large as it is feel free to stop on by any of their locations. Two located on La Cienaga - one on the Bev Center end and another by the 10 fwd along with another two located in Torrance and Tarzana. The Mattress Stop employees all have many years of experience and Mattress Stop's pricing is fair. The expensive Tempur-Pedic mattress we purchased 2 years ago seemed like the perfect solution to my husband's restless nights, but ultimately the foam started to sag. We decided to invest in a standard spring mattress, but had trouble finding one that was firm enough for my husband. Nearly all mattresses on the market mimic the Tempur-Pedic style! We spent the entire day testing out mattresses in the L.A. area, and were happy to stumble upon Sergio and Mattress Stop. From the second we walked in, Sergio took great care of us -- but was never too pushy! Delivery was ultra quick (we received our new mattress in about 48 hours). The entire operation is family-owned, which means we received unmatched hospitality. Thank you, Sergio and Mattress Stop for the great service and for helping my husband sleep again! read more

I never felt more appreciated as a customer than in the store. And what's even more amazing is that there's no pushy hard sale going on in there. You walk in and after the first couple of sentences you feel like you're part of the family. You feel like you really matter, that your comfort really matters. Sergio is super knowledgeable about mattresses , and the specific needs of people with back issues. He was beyond patient as I tried out half of the mattresses in the store. He invited me to spend as much time as I wanted on the mattress of my choice. He said to return another day to continue testing it out to make sure it is the right fit. I was hesitant when I asked the price of the mattress, thinking that we are in West Hollywood and the prices would be too high for my budget. I was wrong. In addition to the mattress being reasonably priced, Sergio offered me an amazing discount. Not only did I get the best mattress for my back but I also got it for the fraction of a price that most mattress stores would charge for it. Pair that with the most incredible customer service ever. I highly recommend this store. read more

My wife and I had been looking for a cheap replacement for a used mattress that was falling apart. We went to Target first to check out an inexpensive memory foam mattress. We decided that we would purchase it. Before we completed the purchase, I said let's check out our options across the street at Mattress Stop. We came in and were met by David. David showed us some great options. Options I thought were way out of our range. We had made up our mind on our price point at Target. David was able to MATCH a price on a HIGHER quality mattress and MATCHED the price of Target's lower quality mattress... AND threw in 2 great pillows AND delivery!!! We were AMAZED! Sergio is the absolute BEST! I couldn't of asked for a better bed side manner, lollll. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and had us in a dream mattress that catered to our needs in zero time. It's been a week since we've had our mattress. They make the mattress once ordered and deliver it all very quickly. We are sleeping so much better!! I'm so pleased with our purchase. I was prepared to fall in love with an outrageously priced mattress and bite the bullet, but the price for my genuinely favorite mattress was extremely fair!! And I'm waking up in no pain, finally! I sleep on all four sides and have a little bit of scoliosis so a good supportive mattress for my spine and ever changing sleeping positions is imperative. Thanks again Sergio, you angel!! read more
