Kade was excellent! He was very knowledgeable about every mattress and so kind. Plenty of quality mattresses in the store with great prices. The owner, Richard, was very polite and helpful too. They are helping to get our mattresses delivered on an exact date, which no other store could guarantee us. Top quality place all around. Highly recommend. read more

My husband and I had an amazing experience at Mattress Stop! Kade was very knowledgeable and made the entire process quick and easy. He was also genuinely interested in making sure we chose something that fit our needs and budget, and took the time to explain the differences between each mattress to make sure we were happy with our purchase. We were shocked at how easy the process was, and how soon we were able to get out mattress delivered. We HIGHLY recommend this store if you're in the market for a new mattress. read more

Highly recommend this shop! Kade helped us out and he is super sweet and clearly very knowledgeable about all things mattresses. We got a lot of honest and useful information and at no point did it ever feel salesy. We left with a mattress we love and feel super confident about. Can't wait to finally make the switch to a nice bed. Also such a plus to be able to try them in person and not have to guess with all the options online. read more

This particular location is in the same building as the nail salon I've used for yeeeears. I've been needing a new mattress for a really long time and it was finally convenient for me to start shopping. I rolled in and met Phil who was super welcoming. I let him know my budget and he walked me through some options. The mattress that I liked was juuust out of my price range and i figured I should just keep saving and shopping around but Phil gave me all my financing options and was able to make a cash budget stretch far enough to make it happen. Looking forward to delivery- two short days after purchase with old mattress thrown out and even threw in a quality pillow to go with my new quality mattress. I can't wait to start getting quality sleep and I feel great having spent my money in a local store that uses local craftsmen. It was super quick and easy to work with Phil. I won't make the mistake of wearing this mattress into the ground now that I know where to go for fast, friendly and fair service! Thanks Phil!! read more

This place rules. I really didn't know what to expect from the location but the guys could not have been more knowledgeable and helpful, and honest! If you live in the area please support this company and don't get your mattress from one of those "mattress in a box" places. I've had them, they suck. The day we moved in the neighborhood we picked up a king mattress for cheaper than we had expected, and then a few days later we realized we needed the foundation and they actually delivered it for $150 less than what Sit n Sleep was charging for the foundation alone! This place is local. The guys know their neighborhood and deserve our support! read more

I like that it's a local family owned place. I did quite a bit of research on the mattresses- and the manager Phil gives a great deal. Get your mattress from him! They have a good array of options- I chose my queen organic cotton firm mattress because it's old school, locally made in LA - is a mixture of all natural pocket coils and real cotton. This is not a compressed mattress. It had some of the basic certifications but not the green gold certification- I hope they can get that certification soon. Worth to check them out as they give good deals! read more

I stopped by Mattress Stop when I needed to get a new mattress for my bed. Phil was very helpful and knowledgeable and was able to give me a great recommendation on a mattress that suited my needs, as I wanted to buy a firm mattress similar to the one I had before. I'd recommend anyone to come visit for their mattress needs. (Would also recommend parking in the parking lot across the street next to Sprouts to avoid the In n out drive through.) read more

YES!!!! Phil, the manager of this place, is the BEST!!! I decided Friday night at 6:OO PM that I just HAD to have a queen box spring. Called a bunch of places which told me I could not get one until AT LEAST next Tuesday. The crew at Mattress Stop told me to come on in and grab one from in-house, amazing price! *** Update *** Although my initial interaction with this establishment was positive, after buying a floor model mattress, I was repeatedly told that a warranty was included. In the hustle of carrying out the mattress, I later realized I never received a proper receipt or paperwork regarding the promised warranty. When I reached back out, I was told that it was not included. Although I understand how that can be tricky with a floor model, I don't appreciate the lack of professionalism and, frankly, dishonesty during the purchase. I also never received a sincere apology from the saleswoman for her misunderstanding and miscommunication of the terms of the mattress. After deciding that I was uncomfortable dealing with this establishment, I went back to return the mattress and arrived soon after their posted hours ~10:30am but the store wasn't open. The parking attendent informed me that there's usually no one in until later in the afternoon. After waiting around for a couple hours and basically wasting time, with the mattress already loaded in the car, ready for return, there was finally someone in the store and I was finally able to return this mattress after talking in circles with the saleswoman with no admittance of fault for the miscommunication. Eventually, I purchased the exact same model from Macys and happily paid the higher cost with no issues. I'd normally prefer to support more local businesses but this whole transaction left a bad taste and wasted so much unnecessary time and effort. *** Original *** As a first time mattress buyer, I'm grateful to have come to Mattress Stop. They took the time to teach me about the different types of mattresses and I tried out several as we narrowed down which one would be a good fit for me. Overall, I truly appreciated the professionalism and patience as I made an informed decision read more

We went to four mattress places, and Mattress Stop won for prices and quality. The Mid-city store isnt in the nicest looking plaza, but they have to cut costs somewhere, right? Phil was very good. Attentive, low-key, patient, knowledgeable. He worked with us, and was professional thru-out. My dad has been sleeping on the mattress 30 days now. The construction seems solid, and the mattress is as described: a little firmer than the floor model. I encourage anyone to shop around, but of LA Mattress, Sit n Sleep and Bob's, Mattress Stop was the winner for us. read more

I was planning to shop around town for a Mattress today and Mattress Stop was the first one I went to and decided to look no further. I knew what I wanted and told Rich my budget. He was quick to show me my options within my budget but I didnt like them ($300). He explained to me the different types of mattress and what drives the prices. So he showed me the next options that I like just above my budget ($400-500) but was not pushy for me to buy so I was comfortable negotiating with him. He was willing to work with me, which made me decide to buy. I cannot wait to get it delivered tomorrow and sleep on it. Im happy with my purchase! Definitely recommend this store. Got a discount on original pricing + discount paying cash + discount on delivery + good customer service + got the mattress I like = happy camper! read more

Look no further for great mattresses at an affordable price. What really got me to take out my phone and write a review was how top-notch the customer service was. I accidentally ordered a king size bed for an awkwardly sized bed frame. Phil was able to get it exchanged for a custom size mattress in less than a week for a very reasonable price. He was also very attentive and kept in contact with me for all updates. I'll definitely be back here for my next mattress. read more
