Those people with other types of disabilities can gain confidence and experience success as well. Lastly, all will gain a sense of peace riding on a trail ride enjoying the outdoors. I also went to a rodeo there recently and had such a great time ! It was exciting watching the riders on the bulls and the barrel races were amazing. Those riders have some serious riding skills ! Food and beverages were an added pleasure. The fire making and stone drilling activities also piqued her interest. I would give this camp 5 stars except for the fact that the camp end time doesn't accommodate working families. The regular day ends at 3:30 and "epic" day ends at 4:30. It would be so much more epic for parents if there was an extended day program until 5 or 5:30.

I was very pleased to learn that the focus seems to be on human interaction and outdoor activities. I stopped sending my children to another local summer camp when I noticed campers arriving with electronics, coolers full of food, and camp counselors riding around in several golf carts. These aren't the values or lessons I want my children learning from their summer camp experience. The camp director, Maria, made my first time without my children for a week, such a positive experience. I sent four children this summer and one did have a very difficult time with home sickness. Maria was AMAZING with how she handled his difficulties, stayed in touch with me and still encouraged my son.
