There is a short walk to the back field and there is an awesome 6-story treehouse that you can go in and climb around. We explored for a bit and went on our way. When I pulled my daughter from this program so many people came forward to me with nightmare stories of this woman traumatizing their child.

I had a great time learning the strokes and good form. Then we went partly up Salmon Creek and saw lots of wildlife. I highly recommend Paddle-N-More for lessons or just rentals of kayaks (sit-in and sit-on) and stand-up paddleboards. They provide a high-quality life vest (PFD) as part of every rental, too.

Super friendly staff and there's a local community feel to the gym, which is a huge draw. Also, they have a ping pong table, and a stretching/fitness area upstairs with 2 power racks, a fan bike, and a Tension board (if you're looking to mix things up) There's free gravel parking, and plenty of space (unlike Collegetown...)

Drive me nuts that kids events don't start until like 10 so was so excited that Cayuga Clinbs Toddler Time is from 8:30 to 9:45 it's the perfect time for a kids activity. The space is great for letting kids runaround and try climbing. My daughter love finding the cow on top of one of the climbing wall every time we go. Sorry if no one else has found it since she doesn't let go of it easily once she finds it. It's reasonably priced $15 per toddler and you don't have to pay for the adults like you would a children's museum but you do have to watch your own kids. My twins get so excited to go, seriously one of the best events for toddlers in the area. Typically twice a month on Sundays but it does not have a consistent schedule so again get on the mailing list so you're informed when the next event will take place.

I…read morewas sad the ceramics studio in Ithaca had closed due to the pandemic but Kelly was gracious enough to open her home for a session. There are two wheels and she guided my friend and I amidst great conversation. The space is small and cozy but enough to be distanced while working (we all wore masks). She chooses the glaze on her own and I loved my items when I picked them up. Kelly is a very sweet person and I thoroughly enjoyed the session + her company :)

I haven't taken a class with Kelly, but I've purchased some of her pottery and I can't say enough…read moregood things about it! She's incredibly talented and the quality of the products she makes is out of this world. You can tell how passionate she is by the products she sells, and there's just something special about drinking coffee, tea, or hot chocolate out of a handmade mug. (I highly recommend her wine cups, too!)
