There are two wheels and she guided my friend and I amidst great conversation. The space is small and cozy but enough to be distanced while working (we all wore masks). My husband is a woodworker, so he also likes exploring the offerings for elements to incorporate in his designs. From salvaged lumber to old cabinet hardware, there's almost no end to the creative potential! On the upper floors, it's always fun to explore the furniture and fixtures (even though we rarely have room in the car to bring anything home to Buffalo). She's got the level of attentiveness just right-- she's lovely and engaging, anticipating customer needs (like offering the fitting room, if you're looking to try on their cute selection of vintage clothing) while also giving you room to explore the gorgeously-curated boutique. There are quirky, fun details to be found in every corner. I've learned pretty much everything you see is fair game! Even antique pieces I was sure were display only, like vintage thermoses and framed art. All affordably priced. Stationery, slim beeswax tapers, canvas pouches, unique kitchen/home goods, retro posters, knicknacks, vintage accessories, and so much more. After two months of inactivity, I finally tried it with my childhood friend, and it was the perfect bonding experience. The vibes here are absolutely immaculate - definitely a great spot for a date (lots of couples around!), but friends will have an amazing time too. A special shoutout to Jordan (I hope I'm spelling her name right!) - she is hands-down the best person ever! She made the entire experience super fun and memorable. Jordan, I love you! The Festival also tries to be environmentally friendly, as it uses compostable utensils and paper plate. A local favorite is the kettle corn. I'm a fan of the candied apples. Om nom! Lots of fun, definitely come enjoy the celebration if you're in Ithaca around this time!
