BE WARNED! If I could rate less, I would. Just trying to figure out why Santiago Carrasco, CashCall "employee" cant have the respect to talk to me after running my credit from only speaking to my wife but he never asked for my permission. Only thing he told my wife was an email back saying, "call u back in a bit" What are u a friend!? Handle your job professionally. I'll be dropping you a Google review as well . Not like you care, cuz well; it shows! This is ridiculous But it's truly unfortunate for someone to do that regardless of any situation. I mean, I dont know anything in regards to my pre-approval. Never heard anything. Maybe I didn't get approved?? But maybe I did?? Right! Regardless, communication. You're an employee. Get it down right. And now, I'm getting asked by another person to resubmit all my information, like bank statements, SS etc. when he has my info already, and no notes or account number was generated or input. What did he do with my info. Wipe his ass!?' Run off? Did he go missing? Did I miss something? This is so stupid. Can't believe it he has my info., social security and bank statements? After a hard inquiry, I mean, hard to go do it somewhere else. When u submit for a preapproval n started, or thought u started the process? That company has to finish. I've tried talking to other companies. And CashCall just screwed me for no reason! Thank you for trying to clean up someone's else's crap @Jon M. You are appreciated, but this is ridiculous cuz of 1 lousy employee, now I don't have piece of mind, been shy of a month and simply very unprofessional. And ultimately, no home!

Rate sheet, if you could actually close a loan!

Yes, save yourself months of your time; all the one star reviews are absolutely true. I learned from experience. They will string you along for months and months telling you everything is great, even though it is a string of new names that suddenly take over for the last person, and then they eventually fail to close your loan, even after docs have been drawn and notarized, one, two, maybe three times. This is the most mismanaged group of incompetence I have seen in the industry... Rates and terms look great, but if they can't deliver, it's meaningless. Stay away!

We recently closed on refi through Cashcall. It was the most painless and expeditious process. We were pleasantly surprised. Rudy Crawford was our mortgage loan officer and all of our e mails and calls were returned within 2-3 hours . We started the process on 3/20 and closed on 4/10! I've seen some negative reviews and that must be dependant on who your loan agent is. Rudy was very efficient. His number is (949) 535-9633.

Loan#6100276623 Successfully refinance my loan 3 times in the past with CashCall Mortgage. Current Credit score avg. 800, full time emloyee with same employer for last 12 years. Salary above $100k per year., current on my primary and secondary home. Assets over $1mill. Called CashCall and asked for Dave Winslett, whom I've worked with in the past to handle my refinances. I was informed that Dave no longer works at Cash Call- and Jeremy Escobar would be my agent. I proceed with Jeremy on submitting my 1st application. A week later, I was informed by underwriting that my refinance loan was denied due to a credit report , not updated to show my loan is out of forbearance. I was told to reapply a month later once credit report is updated. 2nd Application with CashCall, same agent resubmitted my application. Once again, underwriting denied my application because Experian credit report had not been updated . I contacted Experian and went online to file the dispute. There was nothing to dispute , since Experian showed it is current . I took snapshot and sent it to the same agent. He said my credit report must have been updated since last time and to resubmit for the third time and he reran my credit report showing everything is clear and credit is clean, 800 avg. score. My loan is below 50% LTV, excellent credit score, meets FHA/FNMA requirements, and prior 3 successful refinances with CashCall- agent was able to waive the min. loan requirement. Very Low risk loan and 2 years worth of cash reserves. At the same time secondary property is generating income and already refinanced and funded during the same time as 1st application, minimizing less risk if any. 3rd application, denied by underwriting due to a prior forbearance. Sept 08, 2020, Jeremy's persistence that underwriting should accept my application to move forward has been approved by Director of Underwriting . However still concern about loan closing on time, Sep.23 3020. Good luck to those that had forbearance placed out of precaution . Will keep community updated with this loan.

Nicholas was super quick with everything and didn't waste time going back and forth. He explained things clearly, got right to what mattered, and that made it really easy for me to make decisions without second guessing. Mari stayed on top of everything behind the scenes and kept things moving. Anytime something came up, she was already on it, which took a lot of stress off my plate. Overall just a really solid experience. If you're going through a loan and want people who are responsive and actually make things easier, I'd definitely recommend them.

From the time our offer was accepted and we paid our earnest money, the entire process slowly, methodically became more and more increasingly frustrating and maddening. To explain, I'll start with 6 months ago. My fiancee is still on a mortgage with her deadbeat ex-husband. They've been divorced over 14 years, yet because of his slackness and not paying his bills on time, she can't get off their mortgage. Our Loan Officer, Logan Kadolph told us that as long as she had a divorce decree, it would not be an issue. She easily provided it. Fast forward to two weeks before the scheduled closing we were then told "Well... she is still on the mortgage and liable." We were shocked. My fiancee was in tears for days. Later they decided to simply excuse this. As the closing date grew closer, I would get texts or emails saying "Everything looks good to close" and the very next day or hours later we would get an email from Julie Kim, Mortgage Loan Processor, and she would then send of list of more documents to upload. This was constant, a daily, never ending list of things to sign. I've purchased a home before and the first time was EXPONENTIALLY less complicated than dealing with Zillow. For the final straw, the day we were scheduled to close, they then said that my tax return and tax transcripts from a previous year, the amounts did not match, and I needed to give a reason for this. I said it didn't matter, since I had paid the IRS in full the previous year. They said it did matter. My fiancee simply Googled searched this, emailed that back to them showing that the transcript is the final word from the IRS, therefore there was nothing to resolve. Nevertheless, they canceled our close... to only HOURS LATER then say that they would excuse this. So as I had said earlier "It didn't matter!" But that was AFTER the close of business hours on a Friday, so we had to take off work AGAIN days later to finally close on our home. These are just a few examples of numerous issues we had with Zillow. Multiple times my fiancee and I said we wished we had used our bank. Bottom line, in my experience this organization is completely dysfunctional and it definitely seemed to my fiancee and I that communication within their team is severely lacking. I'm a clinical therapist and I counsel numerous couples, often times doing pre-marital counseling. Should any of them ever mention buying a house in the future, I will tell them "If you want to keep your sanity and peace, do not use Zillow Home Loans."
