My wife (Irina Herrmann) (and I ,John Lowy non-borrowing spouse ) were approved by Steve Hands (949)5048657 a senior supervisor, for a reverse mortgage refinancing, following which we were assigned an HUD counsellor and paid $145. Steve Hands subsequently told us the application was DENIED (gave no reason) and that the HUD fee would be refunded by HIM.For almost 3 months now he told us repeatedly "the check is in the mail" and "get a life"!! WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE REFUND. DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS with ENNKAR! That attitude, insult, and unethical behavior should not be tolerated !! read more

We probably would have lost our home if I had not called the phone number on the pink paper advertisement that came in the mail. Actually, I was looking for a lower interest rate loan, but when FOZE ENNABE answered the phone and after talking with him for a few minutes, he mentioned a reverse mortgage loan. I went into fighting mode as I really didn't know much about it and thought all it did was take what money you had in your home and eventually leave you with nothing. He patiently listened to me and when he had a chance to get in some words, he helped me understand what they were all about. It took a couple of weeks before I understood what it entailed and ran out of questions. FOZE was right there with my husband and me from the beginning until we closed on the loan. We were quite nervous not believing we could afford a home, but with her explanation of rent vs. mortgage, it all "clicked" we could afford it. Worst experience I have ever had. Worked with a man named Christian Rose solicited me over the phone for a reverse refinance. We filled out the paperwork with a very rude and incompetent notary and then arranged for a $600 appraisal which would credited to me on signing the final documents. Did not hear anything for months, and after several attempts reached Christian and was lied to about the approval of the refinance. My advice to the public is "DONOT DEAL WITH THIS PEOPLE". I am a victim of their agent, a certain Edward Zamora who pushed me to continue my application for a Reverse Mortgage Refinance even after my message of withdrawal within the cooling off period for reason that I am positive that it cannot be approved. Mr. Zamora kept on persuading me that according to his computations , the loan will be approved. I kept telling him to withdraw my application because I do not want to spend $525 for the appraisal and just lose it. He kept on pressuring me, so I proposed thar they pay for the appraisal fee, but he said that it is not their policy to pay for the appraisal and I say just withdraw the application. He promised to see what he can do but never called me until the cooling off period was over and the appraisal was done. They did trick me to provide my Credit Card number in the application which they used to pay for the appraisal. After many days I did not hear from him so I called but no answer. Finally he called and said my loan application was not approved because the appraisal report did not suffice the required amount. I lost $525 for nothing which could have been stopped at the right time, but he tricked me to go on for his personal purpose. Being a Senior living in a limited fixed income, $525 means a lot to me and my sick wife. Why do we have this kind of Greedy people in the society? read more
