We were finally driving by at a time that made sense to stop and eat, so we had our first meal here and it won't be the last. Friendly service. Good pizza. Good atmosphere. I was not expecting to order from the counter right when we walked in, but luckily we had already scoped out the menu. We ordered two pizzas and cheese curds. Hopefully the cheese curds are a permanent addition to the menu. They're delicious. And they have the good ranch dressing for dipping. We ordered the all meat pizza on cauliflower crust for the gluten-free diner, and we ordered bbq chicken on regular crust. I know the crust is kind of the main attraction here, but we all actually preferred the cauliflower crust over the regular crust. The regular crust has a nice chew, but we just really enjoyed the cauliflower. The bbq pizza is very sauce heavy and felt a little out of balance to me, but overall we all enjoyed our meal and the service and the break from driving. We will definitely be back. Oh, it's also super affordable whether you're here for pizza, drinks, or the buffet.

Don't get me wrong, the restaurant is nice enough and the staff is great, but there is no bee/wine available, no sports on TV, just the weather (every time I've been there)... I just feel like that if Opie's had a little competition in town, it'd be struggling.

While I'll never knock those little spots we've found throughout the midwest, I have to say that I'm shocked to admit that the small chain of Freddy's is one of the best around, consistently. After a hell of a day, my wife and I wanted consistency. We Yelped our way into this Freddy's and it was incredible. The double cheeseburger with just the right amount of mustard, crunchy pickle slices and melty cheese is perfection. It's just greasy enough but not sickeningly so. The little shoestring fries are a nice touch too and go great with the table top seasoning and spicy aioli. I love Freddy's and this one put out one of the best burgers I've had in a while.

We dined At Rib Crib in Pittsburg, Ks last night. We were served Cole Slaw with too much salt. Not…read morevery tasty at all. Toward the end of our meal we were informed by the waitress the slaw was bad and all remaining slaw was thrown away. We were offered no alternative side order nor offered any kind of discount for a side that was over salted. No manager talked to us. Also, I ordered a take-out meal that was the same menu item I ordered for dine-in. I had ordered Cole Slaw on this order. The waitress said nothing about the slaw until I opened the sack and found a sauce tub of potato salad which I did not order. At that point she informed us the slaw in the kitchen had been thrown away and my order was substituted with potato salad. I was not informed nor asked if I wanted a different side order since the slaw was bad. In fact, it was at this point we were informed about the slaw being thrown away. There was at most two small bites of potato salad which was smaller than the dine-in portion. It appears ordering take-out gets you smaller portions of some items. I suggest you check your order before leaving and I wouldn't expect any kind of discount for bad food. To be fair, I did not complain to the waitress other than to question the small portion of potato salad. I did not ask for a manager. I suggest if anything happens to you talk to a manager, then I will be happy to see a review of how that turns out. However, looking at other reviews it doesn't appear this place gives discounts. To review the quality and taste of the food I'll simply say it was good enough except salty in certain bites. I return to eating establishments that provide good food and service and takes care of their customers. This place doesn't qualify so I don't plan on ever returning.
