I'm sick of or idiot workforce today. I work hard for my money and choose to spend it with a business. I will not spend it here anymore. I order a Rib platter to share with someone and 2 peach cobblers with Ice Cream. The ribs were cold, and I'll let you look at the picture for the "ice cream" which by the way I paid extra for. We've been here 3 or 4 times. Why it hasn't become a regular stop for us, I'm not sure. Everything we've tried has been really good. Ribs are great and the brisket is mouth watering. This time we did super spuds. They were just as good as the rest. Service is good and friendly. Our waitress took good care of us without being a pest and did it happily. Good place. I cannot really say what the food is like at this restaurant, since the delivery just happened to be lacking the actual entree. There really is nothing like getting excited for bbq, ordering delivery, and then only getting the sides. What's better is the response from the restaurant that I could go pick it up. They apparently don't see that I ordered delivery because I didn't want to pick it up. But I appreciated the full charge for a meal that wasn't delivered and the delivery charge for sides. If you're going to the Rib Crib, you better eat in to make sure you actually get the food you paid for. I ordered the two meat plate. It should have included the sliced brisket and three ribs. But the restaurant was short and I only received two ribs. With no explanation or apology. How does a rib place run out of ribs? My ticket wasn't adjusted, and nothing was said about them shorting me on my order. This may be the last trip I make to this restaurant. A welcome surprise. Moved here about 2 years ago and just tried. My brother took me to dinner for my birthday and we decided to try some place new. The restaurant was very clean and modern. Better than expected. The service was top notch, and the food did not disappoint. I had the dinner with a little bit of everything. Ribs, pulled pork, beef brisket, and some sausage. All were tasty and i fell in love with that orange bbq sauce. It had a nice vinegar sas to it. The baked potato must have weighed a pound. They cut a v in the center which gave them room to stuff the butter and sour cream deep into the potato. Was very impressed with the side salad ( one of the 2 side options that come with meal). Was crisp, cold and delish. Could have quit eating after that and a roll. My to go box weighed a ton. I ate on the leftovers 2 more times. What a deal for about $17. Will definitely return again and again. I know people in Kansas say its not real bbq but for what we have in my town this place is a great go-to for lunch or dinner! read more

So arrived for dinner at 6:40 this evening our waitress delivered our menus and was quick with the beverages she then took up a seat at the bar and began socializing with what appeared to be a customer. After waiting 20 minutes I called the restaruant and spoke with the manager who came to our table and personally took our order. During the meal I determined that the other person is an employee as he casually walked back to the kitchen on a few occasions. The food was good but the service left a lot to be desired and it is sad as the restaurant was not busy being the night before thanksgiving. Will try again when I return next year. As a contractor delivery driver, I walked in and was told my order was being backed up by one of the servers. 15 minutes later, I inquired about the status of my order. She told me their quote it was five minutes ago and they were still working on it. We're not paid by the hour and when we sit we lose money. Most drivers would have unassigned the order and left, pissing off your customer. read more

The staff here is always friendly and helpful. I ordered the chicken and ribs. The chicken was tender and delicious. The ribs were tender and I was able to eat with a fork. The mild sauce was spicier than I remember. I like the favor, just not a big fan of the heat. Missing a star because my husband's loaded potato wasn't cooked enough. He said he would order it again. It was very disappointing. Our server was inconvenienced by having a table. He was too busy talking to his friends on the clock. We ordered an appetizer and raspberry teas. Gary even asked if we wanted everything on it. The tra tasted like straight raspberry syrup and our appetizer never showed up. We were told they were out of pulled pork and beans, yet when we looked down the row a pulled pork sandwich and beans when to a table that ordered after us. The mac and cheese looked and tasted like Kraft, the rib, singular in a combo was tasty, the brisket had good flavor. I have never heard of a rib joint only having one kind of sauce with the only other option is ketchup It was an experience to try someplace new. Big mistake we will not go back I am sure there are other options. The service was bad and for the price it was not worth it. read more

Stopped by for a late lunch. Ordered a meal that came with fries and toast. Asked for a substitution of coleslaw instead of fries. No substitutions allowed. Very disappointed that a restaurant doesn't allow a substitution of an unhealthy side with a healthier choice. Meat was a little dried out. read more

Really good pit stop when we were passing through Pittsburgh KS. Sit dow restaurant that has friendly service and was fast. Really good price for BBQ sandwich's less than $10. They had dinners ribs and salads that looked great as they passed by our table. So the sauces as a KC Girl these hold up they have the sweet and and hot but for those of you that prefer Carolina sauces they have that too, I wasn't a fan. We enjoyed our first meal at a Rib Crib BBQ in Pittsburgh, Kansas. The meal was great. We each had something different and all reports were positive. We arrived around 6 on a Saturday night expecting a bit of a wait. I gave the host my number and after a wait we went back in and finally got a table for three. After we got seated our server did the normal and asked for our drinks and apps. After sitting for a minute we got our drinks and she took our order. About 30 minutes later we were told our food was "almost ready" and got excited. She came back out with more waters and I went to take a sip and saw there was red lipstick all around the rim of the glass. About 45 minutes after our server told us we would be getting our food, she brings out an expired $5 off gift card and apologizes for the wait. After 10 minutes of contemplating leavening, we finally receive our food. We eat and pay leaving a tip one would leave after waiting for over an hour. The next day our charges go through our banks and our server overcharged our accounts by $16! Good food but terrible service. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK! read more

Food was good. My problem was that on the menu is "IBC Root Beer" and below says "in a frosty mug". What came was an IBC root beer in the bottle. When I asked for another I was informed that each Refill would be $2.49 each. No thanks. Every thing else is free refills. Why list it on the menu as "in a frosty mug" then not deliver and charge extra. List that in your menu or advise customers no free Refill when they order so there are no surprises. read more

This was our first time here and it was very good. The ribs were very very good. Fall of the bone good. The corn on the cob was pretty good but didn't have enough butter on it. The onion rings were excelent. The seasoned fries were very well done. The coleslaw was a bit off and I have had lots better. Our server kept swinging by to make sure that we were well taken care of. My wife and I had very enjoyable meal here and will be coming back for more. I'm just glad I didn't go into a food coma from all the good food. read more

Unfournatley, it seems they make their Cesar with a mix of letttuce including iceburg! Disappointed as I have never had a Cesar with anything but Romaine! I settled for the chicken nachos. Great experience... We ate there on a Tuesday night which was all you can eat ribs and sides 4PM till close. Your choice of baby back or St. Louis style. I ordered the baby backs which I think were $2 more, but I believe they were worth the extra cost. The ribs had a ton of meat and were fall of the bone tender. The St. Louis style were good too. That was a bonus of ordering the baby backs as you could try the Original Dry Rub, Sweet and Sticky, or Spicy Carolina's. I tried 3 of their sides, Sweet and Smoky Beans (above average), Potato Salad (average), and their Onion Rings (average). They just kept bringing us food! I felt it was a great value. My family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) ate that night for a total of $50 and we couldn't eat it all. I now have a new favorite barbeque restaurant. The average sides kept this review from getting 5 stars. read more

Had the rib combo - got half rack of baby back ribs, a side of meat (I chose brisket) and two sides (I chose fries and beans). Everything was excellent, I can see why the sweet and savory sauce on the ribs are popular. I got it as take out, so I can't comment on the table service, but my food was ready in about 10 minutes and the price was very reasonable for good BBQ. read more

Great place to eat. We are in Pittsburg from Memphis and the BBQ was great. I had the Pigman sandwich that had brisket, chopped pork and hot links. Ask them to add slaw and it was great. Friendly staff and very clean. I would recommend it to anyone. read more
