Was not prepared for how delicious the chili cheese dog would be. WOW. It's so good that I'll forgive the awfulness of the mini corn dogs which were worse than what you'd get at a local carnival. It also highlighted that the hot dog is (probably, mostly) made of meat while the corn dog definitely is not. The greatness of the chili cheese dog also helps you forget (sort of) how busy it is and that there's no free table unless you hover over someone like a hawk and then you still feel bad because all the elderly parties want a seat so you end up at a standup table but your legs are like jelly and it's hot and you're sort of miserable but then that chili cheese dog reminds you that you are at the most magical place on earth, or at least in Florida, and it's so good that you still think about it weeks after your visit. Not a home run We stopped in at this baseball themed spot at the end of Main St up by the castle, our first time. I do love hot dogs. My first impression was they were quite expensive starting at around 12 bucks. I know I'm at Disney but I'm also spoiled getting cheap dogs at Costco and Sam's. Having not doing my homework cost me this time. This was an impulse visit and I had not read any Yelp reviews ahead of time. Had I done that I likely would have ordered their corn dog nuggets. As it was, we got their 50th Celebration Hot Dog. Reading their menu online today I can better understand what I ate, crisp funnel cake pieces, powdered sugar, and a strawberry-bacon jam. Celebration, county fair fare, ok. Didn't really work for me though. We finished with their less expensive Pressed Penny Silk Pie and weren't too impressed with that either. Ordering was not the smoothest experience either. At Casey's there is no space for a row of registers, so you order up where you also pick up the food. We were directed to a row where we found ourselves standing behind people waiting for food, holding up our ability to order for a few minutes. Not sure that mattered in the long run. Seating is also a challenge, but my wife has a talent for finding a table and did so while I waited for our food. I see good potential and will visit again on a future visit. I'd heard that the park sold chili based on Walt Disney's personal recipe, so when I noticed Chili-Cheese French Fries on the menu at Casey's Corner, I really had no choice but to order them. This is one busy place on the corner of Main Street USA and the Castle Hub. It is baseball themed, but you can easily place your order on the mobile app. Much quicker than waiting in line to order and pay. Seating is extremely limited! But don't be that family that grabs seating BEFORE they order food. Normally you can find a spot after you pick up your food, most families see you walking with a tray and clean up to leave their spot when they are done. Here you will mostly have hot dogs and fries. Casey's is my husband's favorite quick service location in the Magic Kingdom. This location has been Casey's since about 1995. The name references the famous poem "Casey at the Bat." As you would expect at a baseball themed location the main entrée option is a hot dog. They have regular hot dogs, foot long hot dogs, chili cheese dogs, and corn dog nuggets. There is usually a specialty dog option, though that seems to change every so often. All dogs are served with fries. For an extra $1 you can add a side of cheese sauce to your meal and seriously an extra $1 to make my fries, cheese fries seems to be about the best deal around Walt Disney World. You can order at the counter and wait for your food or you may also utilize the My Disney Experience App and order from Casey's through the app. The is may give you time to find a table as seating can be challenging. There is very little indoor seating and so 99.9% of the time when ordering at Casey's we end up eating outside. That's fine on a beautiful 75 degree February day, but much less so on a rainy day or 92 degree March-October day. Overall though the best place to get a hot dog and fries in Magic Kingdom. read more

Definitely a classic place to grab lunch in Magic Kingdom. The hot dogs and French fries are good, nothing particularly special but good enough for theme park food. They also have chili, which can be added to hot dogs or French fries, and mint julep slushy drinks. Note that it gets really busy at Casey's, so plan to use mobile ordering ahead of time, especially if you are hoping to eat here before fireworks. I was impressed with how flavorful the chipotle barbecue all-beef hot dog was and it came with a side of french fries. I shared the foot-long with my partner and it definitely hit the spot. Definitely one of the better food we've had at the park.. It reminded me of a Dodger Dog but coupled with pulled pork and coleslaw. The pulled pork was tender. My husband and I made our first visit to Casey's Corner last week since their reopening, and though Cosmic Rays did a decent job of filling the void during the closure, it just wasn't the same as getting our hot dog straight from the source. We couldn't be more thrilled to circulate this back into our Magic Kingdom dining experience. Located in Magic Kingdom park at the end of the strip of shops on The Emporium side of Main Street, the Casey's Corner can be found right at the break of the street before reaching the perimeter of the Crystal Palace. Throughout the day, guests can enjoy some (limited) indoor and outdoor seating while chowing down on their meal. Those who sit inside will be able to see shoppers from The Emporium since the inside eating area with tables and chairs is connected to the store. Those sitting outside can get a beautiful glimpse of the castle, the hub, and all of the commotion/entertainment that Main Street USA has to offer. At the time of my most recent visit in December 2021, Casey's Corner was offering both mobile order through the MyDisneyExperience app and traditional standby ordering. I highly recommend the mobile ordering system to make the best use of your time at the parks. For the most part, it is a straightforward process and will allow you to retrieve your food in a more efficient manner without all of the waiting in line and waiting for the food to be prepped and served. The hot dog is honestly big enough for you to even share with another person or to get two meals out of. They offer both a traditional plain hot dog and several speciality ones. They even have some corn dog nuggets. During our last visit, we were a party of three and ordered: - an All-Beef Foot-long Hot Dog - Corn Dog Nuggets - the 1971 Meal. This was a speciality item for the 50th anniversary. It came with a smaller size chili cheese dog, fries, a drink, and a 50th anniversary cake pop. Everything was great. Disney is just starting to reopen the various restaurants that have been closed through the long lasting pandemic. This is one of them and that's why we thought it worth a shot. There are various places to find food around the Magic Kingdom, but this was a first for us. It's hard to fathom coming to Disney World and getting a hot dog, but for us connoisseurs of pork by-products, this is a good one. First off, this will be a Mobile Order experience, so if you don't have the Disney Experience on your smart phone, you'll be SOL (straight out of luck). If you have it, you can make the order and notify them that you're there to pick it up at which point somebody in the backroom will slather your chosen dog with various condiments and sauces and serve it up to you. For our sake, we chose a foot long chili dog and the vegetarian slaw dog. There was an issue with the mobile order app, which caused us to have to cancel the order and start over, which then resulted in the slaw dog being delivered without the slaw. I guess that would just be a dog. A vegetarian dog at that. The staff was quick to rectify the issues though and very friendly to deal with. Once the kinks were worked out of the order, the process of locating a seating area began. It worked well for one of us to handle the food and its issues, while the other began a scouting trip to find a table. As it happened to be a few hours before the fireworks began, we found a table and began upgrading to one closer to the castle in time for the fireworks. The food and cold drink made the wait tolerable and the seats were not bad for viewing the show. The foot-long chili dog was a foot-long chili dog. Not amazing, but good and one that would be repeated. The vegetarian slaw dog was surprisingly good. It had a hot dog like texture and a smoky, spicy flavor. If you were not aware that it was meatless, you probably wouldn't notice. What's left to say? It is a pretty good location, with some pretty good American style fare. Combine that with a seating option that allows you a view of the castle and fireworks and it's a good way to cap off a trip to the Magic Kingdom. read more
