Happy 4th of July! For this 4th of July review/post, I thought what better tribute to celebrate America's 250th than with a review of the Regal Eagle Smokehouse in the American Pavilion at EPCOT. NOTES 1. Our visit to WDW and EPCOT was in November 2025. During this trip to WDW, my partner and I made it a point to try different places and foods that we didn't experience on a previous trip. 2. There is outdoor and indoor seating available. We chose indoors because it was a bit hot on the days we visited (thought the mornings were very cool). Our 1st visit was unplanned. We were walking by and decided to do a mobile order since we wanted a snack. We chose the Beef Brisket Sandwich with fries. So good! Definitely shareable if you're not too hungry. I thought the indoor seating was very, very spacious, and we didn't have any difficulty finding a place to sit . The sandwich also came with a generous portion of fries. We returned 2 days later since we liked the food so much. We shared the BBQ platter which came with pork ribs, smoked pork butt, and smoked sausage; also served with corn bread and a choice of a side (french fries, of course!). The platter was more than enough food for us both, and we enjoyed the ribs the most. Honourable mention goes to the sausage and fries, as well as the bbq sauce. There are 4 dispensers in the rear of the restaurant. We just opted for the classic bbq sauce. Regal Eagle Smokehouse is one of my favorite quick-service spots in Epcot when I'm looking for something hearty and a place to escape the Florida heat for a bit. The dining area is spacious, comfortable, and a great spot to sit down and enjoy some AC on a hot day. The mac and cheese was excellent: creamy, flavorful, and easily one of the highlights of the meal. The French fries were also surprisingly good and paired well with everything else. I ordered the Texas beef brisket sandwich, which was tasty and had plenty of flavor. The only thing I would do differently next time is ask for the sauce on the side. It was a little heavier than I prefer, and I think having more control over the amount would make the sandwich even better. Overall, the food is solid, the portions are generous, and it's a great option when you need a break from the crowds. Definitely worth a visit if you're spending the day in Epcot. read more

I still am so happy about this addition to Epcot. We really enjoyed the Kansas smoked chicken. A nice break from the usual burgers and chicken fingers. It was moist and full of flavor. There was a nice amount of meat on the chicken as well. The Mac and cheese was unique for this location. Probably the best Disney Mac and cheese there is. I would 100% order that again. The fries were average. It can be very noisy in this location, and after getting notification our online order was ready, it still took a long time to come out. read more

While I love that Disney has tried to utilize their Muppets IP, Regal Eagle Smokehouse at Epcot feels like a half-hearted effort. Located in the America pavilion of World Showcase, this mediocre barbecue restaurant at least has some pretty cool décor that's geared towards fans of the Muppets (and in particular, the overly patriotic Sam Eagle). Be sure to take time to look at all the stuff on the walls because the décor is far better than the food. This is a quick service restaurant which means you order, pay, and then pick up your food when it's ready. Regal Eagle is part of the restaurants where you can place a mobile order through the Disney World app, so be sure to do that if you want to avoid waiting in line. I usually place my order when we hit Mexico and by the time I walk over to America, my food is ready! The seating isn't the best in the world, as it features uncomfortable wooden picnic tables both inside and outside. There is a great outdoor dining area and beer garden and if you snag a table early enough, you can get a decent view of any of the concerts going on in the adjacent arena. I usually order a kid's meal here when I want a hearty snack. The macaroni and cheese is just okay, and the bbq chicken and meats will absolutely disappoint. But I really like the banana pudding for a sweet snack. It's overpriced (this is inside a Disney theme park after all), but at least it's different than the usual chicken tenders, fries, and cookies that dominate other menus for kids. Regal Eagle is also one of the few locations in Epcot that still has self-serve fountain sodas, but the machines are always out of ice. It's a pain, especially on a hot Florida day, to have to go up to the counter and wait for them to fill your cup with ice. This may be to stop people from refilling drinks or bottles they didn't purchase in the park (PLEASE don't do that, it ruins it for the rest of us who are honest), but it's a real inconvenience for actual customers. read more

Almost every time I find myself wanting something fresh and a little bit healthier than typical "theme park food," I choose regal eagle! My go-to is the house salad with smoked chicken. The picture may fool you but this is a huge portion - when you cut up the head of lettuce, it takes up the whole tray! The chicken is always tender and hot and the salad is chilled. 5/14/25 While exploring Epcot, Zach and I got lunch at Regal eagle Smokehouse. It's a quick service restaurant. Thankfully we found seats inside since it was so hot outside. We ordered two Texas Briskets. He got a side order of onion rings and I got a side order of watermelon. We waited for about 15 minutes for the food to come. The sandwich overall was not bad. You can definitely taste the smokiness from the meat. The watermelon was a nice, refreshing contrast to the sandwich. read more

Located in the American section of Epcot. Ate after watching the US history show. Never really considered American food as bbq, but I guess it makes sense. Nevertheless, the food is great and service is quick. It's cafeteria style in a large picnic table area, so no reservation required. North Carolina pork butt came out soft and tender. Ate at Regal Eagle Smokehouse yesterday at opening time. Opening was a somewhat chaotic lots of guests in line not enough employees to open registers. The pick up system seemed a little unorganized but we got our food. I ordered a bbq platter for hubby and I to share and ordered three kids meals for our kids. From the platter hubby and I liked the pulled pork, sausage, and bbq beans with brisket ends. Ribs were mostly bland and cornbread was dry. Kids did not seem to really like mac n cheese we cut the chicken strips and added it to their mac n cheese they ate about half. Drinks are self serve. We got there right before they opened so getting a table was easy. Restaurant got crowded and was somewhat loud since it was lunch time. read more

Inside the America pavilion at Epcot. I'm not sure why we haven't eaten here before. We always go see the shows, but the food is excellent. The outdoor smokers drew us in as the smell of BBQ wafted through the air we couldn't resist! You place your order, they serve you and you find a place to sit. Free refills in drinks is always nice and there are plenty of washing stations in case you overindulge in their many options of BBQ sauce. We opted to split a Sliced Texas Beef Brisket Sandwich, Macaroni & Cheese, and Banana Pudding. All super delicious! read more

One of the reasons Epcot is my favorite Disney park is because they have so many vegetarian options. I came for the cookie stroll and had had enough sweets and needed something savory and I saw this spot had a BBQ jackfruit sandwich. This was a big sandwich that came with a large side of fries, not only was it a good portion it was tasty too. I especially love that it was served on garlic bread and I can't wait to try to recreate it at home! read more

This place has really good barbecue food and truly American experience customer service in the American experience area of Epcot Center. They were closed and I mentioned worker that I wish I could buy a fountain drink and she just handed me a cup. Gave me one for free. You don't usually get that kind of customer service from Disney World where everything cost 10 times the normal amount nothing is ever free. And no exception is ever made for closing time set to the exact second. Most businesses here will close the door right in your face. If you were the next one in line when they close. The coffee shop did just that outside their steps right before I asked for a drink to smokehouse. read more

We went to the bar on the outside for my friend to get a shot of bourbon for her "allergies." There was no judgement from the lovely bartender but my friend went on to explain why she needed a shot of bourbon at 11 in the morning. We went during the Festival of Arts so there was a fun place to pose for photos with no line and a comfy place to sit and watch very confident birds. We did, unfortunately, see a group of people feeding turkey skins to the birds but a cast member came over and politely asked them to stop so we were happy to see that. read more

On busy park days sometimes a quick meal is what's totally good as then you just have that much more time to enjoy what's totally good! So coming here was really just what hit the spot as I ordered the bbq burger and I must say it had some flavor to it as it came on Texas toast and had a mound of pulled pork on it as well as lettuce and tomato to set it up for what's totally yummy but a good burger needs sauce right? So that's when you add one of those delicious bbq sauces they have here as each one just kicked up an already good burger to another level. Of the bbq sauces I really enjoyed the mustard bbq and the vinegar bbq the most as each one of them had a delicious flavor that really just added that much more to everything I added them to. The onion rings that came with my burger were also good for being frozen ones maybe it's because I had all those delicious bbq sauces to dip them in but either way it was totally what was good! For years, America's pavilion served burgers so bland you wondered if they were designed by committee. In February 2020, Disney pulled the plug, lit the smoker, and brought in Sam the Eagle (yes, that Sam the Eagle from The Muppets) to make barbecue the official food of patriotism. And thank god they did. The theming is spot-on. It feels like you're at a backyard cookout hosted by George Washington if he had a smoker, a craft beer menu, and a sarcastic eagle judging your life choices. Historical detail? Disney leaned hard into Americana -- red, white, and blue décor, competition-style BBQ posters, and nods to regional BBQ traditions, all while Sam the Eagle insists it's "a salute to all cookouts, but mostly barbecue." Now, the food. You're here for the barbecue, and the best thing on the menu? The Kansas City Smoked Half-Chicken. Juicy, smoky, and slathered in sauce that makes you question whether you should salute it before digging in. Located in America "land" of Epcots world showcase. This is an offering of American BBQ (barbecue) with a choice of meats smoked in house and sides that align with BBQ food. If you never been here before it's always good to have the sampler. I regretted this choice and I didn't care for both the "Memphis dry rub pork ribs" which were very fatty or the " smoked sausage" however the "Carolina chop smoke pork butt" was great. There are self-serve unlimited sauces from sweet to savory, but nothing offering heat, kinda a miss. The children's mac & cheese has a bit of a spice flavor to it and might be hot to too sensitive people. We use the order ahead in the WDW app which can come in useful when long lines to order exists. So we're able to grab an open table, order on the app and grab our food. Thank goodness we did this because when rains come this place fills up with people trying to avoid getting wet. Not my favorite place for quick serve but a huge step up in quality for other options in the park read more

This is by far my favorite place to eat in Epcot. If you like bbq you wont be disappointed. The service is fast and lines move quickly. Very casual and a nice set up with booths and tables. They have a bbq sauce bar along with a sink out in the dining area to wash sticky hands. I ordered the half chicken and my husband got the platter. The ambience is traditional Americana with a barbecue theme--and rightfully so, because they serve some delicious barbecue. We got the Kansas City smoked half chicken with a side of baked beans with burnt ends (it also came with corn bread) and a frozen blueberry lavender lemonade. The barbecue was moist and super flavorful, with tasty skin as well. The baked beans with burnt ends were tangy with bits of burnt ends. And the refreshing frozen blueberry lavender lemonade, although super sweet, had actual lavender and blueberry flavors. So it wasn't so sweet that you couldn't actually taste the flavors. The corn bread is moist and flavorful. Regal Eagle is located in the American pavilion at Disney World's Epcot. The employees were friendly and provided great service, and it was very clean inside. In the rare event that a food festival isn't going on, I love getting lunch at Regal Eagle when visiting Epcot. They have fun cocktails and delicious barbecue. It's stellar for theme park food. We got the pulled pork sandwich with onion rings and a side of loaded fries. I like that they don't sauce the meat and allow you to pick from a selection and dress your own sandwich. I hate when they overload the meat with tons of sugary sauce. To drink, I had the frozen mint julep and loved it. My mom got the moonshine sour and I thought it was also great. They put a fair amount of liquor in it. The searing is comfortable and relatively available. Staff are friendly and fast. This is a great quick service option. read more

Walked out of the American Adventure show, and the wonderful smell of BBQ hit me. I was really parched with thirst, so I went inside and noticed the self serve coke machines......jackpot! This is my go to place to eat when I visit Epcot. The food never disappoints. It's quick service and it's really super quick. The food comes out so fast but it's super fresh and always delicious. Staff are super friendly and very attentive. Tables are super clean and the restaurant is very clean. It's not the best when it comes to air-conditioning but it's so delicious and it's so easy to go to and so affordable. When I'm not in the mood to pay tableside service prices or make reservations this is my go to place at Epcot. read more

Two of us are gluten free and we picked this BBQ joint because they had the most gluten free options. The Texas Beef Brisket Sandwich on gluten free bread with french fries was AMAZING. All of the sauces were gluten free. I tried the brisket sauce and classic sauce -both delish dipping. Atmosphere was loud, casual dining free for all. We ordered on the app and picked up smoothly. Staff were super attentive to food allergies. Seating was limited like it is in most of the parks. Finding a table for 6 was pure luck at lunchtime. read more

With so many amazing food options at Epcot, this restaurant has made to the top of my list of places to go. Every time I have eaten here has just been an awesome experience. Food, ambience and location. There's a great variety of bbq options. My favorites are the loaded burnt end fries and Memphis dry rub ribs. Both options were so flavorful, juicy and affordable. The fries and onion rings came out hot and fresh. I make sure to eat here as much as I can. It's that good. Service was fast and friendly. There's plenty of seats in the restaurant but on a nice sunny day I love the outdoor tables where you can people watch. read more

This is a very loud place to eat. Don't come here if you hate noise or want to talk to your dining companions. The gentleman who took my order and money was polite and efficient. So was the woman who gave me my food. Beverages are self service. We had water, and had to go to the 3rd and 4th ice dispenser. First two were empty. We wanted still water, and soda water was also available, but not marked clearly. Luckily we got the right one. The food was good and the prices were affordable. I wish I had asked for another side. The dry coleslaw was barely edible. The sign said "creamy coleslaw." My burger was not juicy - it was well done. The onion ring was delicious! I wish I had ordered them as my side. Husband had pork and onion rings and was VERY happy with his choices. The burger with pork filled me up and satisfied my hunger pangs. I will return, but for the pork and onion rings. read more

I stopped in to the Regal Eagle with no intentions on eating however when I saw the burnt ends and fries special I had to get it. It was like all the sides on a bed of fries. The onion rings were crisp, the burnt ends had enough sauce and the mac and cheese was just right! The quick service order process was super easy and quick. I will be back! read more

Built in 2020 this relatively recent restaurant in Epcot serves delicious barbecue. As a quick service restaurant, ordering and receiving the food barely took any time. There's a bbq sauce station where they have a wide range of sauces, from sweet to spicy, as well as other condiments. It's a huge restaurant so there's plenty of seating, both indoors and right outside. I personally ordered the brisket sandwich, which uses garlic bread as the bun. The onion rings were soo good! Great portion for the price, especially considering Disney pricing. And there's a soda fountain so you can drink as much as you want. A great place to have a meal! read more

OK BBQ LUNCH We recently had lunch at Regal Eagle Smokehouse located in EPCOT World Showcase - American Adventure Pavilion. Regal Eagle is the largest indoor AC quick service restaurant in the World Showcase area so it can be very busy during the hot weather and rainy months. Lots of indoor seating as well as some outdoor seating. Very noisy inside. We ordered the BBQ Burger ($15.49) and the Kids Meal Chicken Strips ($8.99). We were surprised that the burger came with only one side while the kids meal came with two sides. For sides, we chose the onion rings, macaroni and cheese and baked beans. The burger was just okay. The good points - the burger was served between two thick slices of warm Texas Toast and the burger was topped with a small amount of pulled pork. But we wish the burger was a better quality patty - it was a soft mushy burger with no sear. The sides were the best part of the meal. The macaroni and cheese was warm and gooey (would have been better hot and gooey). The flavorful baked beans had flecks of brisket burnt ends mixed in. The portion size for the sides was also good. But we would skip the skimpy onion ring side that came with only three onions rings. Other nice touches: There is a sink in the dining area for washing up before and after your BBQ feast. The condiment stations each include 4-5 different BBQ sauces. Beverages are self-serve (with unlimited refills?). The line to order our lunch was short but we waited a long time for our order to be filled. The delay might be due to the large number of mobile orders. It's nothing fancy and it serves all American food as you would expect, but it was a great place to stop in to rest and get a quick bite to eat with our young children. This was one of the destinations as part of my "drink around the world" adventure at Epcot where I got one drink from each country in the park. Regal Eagle Smokehouse is located in the America section of the park. It's a normal restaurant if you want food but if you just want drinks there's a window on the left side to order. I got the tennessee lemonade ($16) which was basically a whiskey peach lemonade drink. It was a whiskey sour with peach and it was a stiff and spirit-forward drink which was different from the other drinks I had from around the world. It was stronger than other drinks that I had around the world which might not be for others but I liked it. read more

Regal Eagle is as American as it gets in Epcot. And I cannot deny that they created a scrumptious little snack. I ordered the Burnt Ends Loaded Fries and wow, that is definitely America on a plate haha. The Burnt Ends Loaded Fries has Burnt Ends, Macaroni & Cheese, and Beer-battered Onion Rings. Why put all those things together? I do not know. The real question we ask here in America is WHY NOT haha Everything on its own was great and everything together was potentially even better! I believe in giving honest reviews and I don't enjoy giving bad ones but sometimes... what can I say but WOW. And not in a good sense. They must have found the hamburger buns left from last July 4th. Or maybe from the Flintstones home. I could have used it as a paver at my house. And don't forget the frost bite we suffered from the food! By far the worst meal I've had in a while. Not sure what happened here but ALL 3 meals we ordered were COLD. The buns were old and hard. We ordered the BBQ chicken, cheese burger and the kids meal cheeseburger. Must have been straight from the fridge. Would have expected Luke warm for $43. Nope. What could you improve? EVERYTHING!! We had to clean our own table and still had to wait 25 minutes for our nice cold food even with the mobile order and time given to come in. Yes it was busy but you would think the food would be hot since it should have been just cooked. The water was good!!! It will be a very long time before I come back here. read more

The barbecue is just okay but you get solid portion sizes per dollar for Disney food. Mac n cheese just takes like a bunch of cheapo Parmesan. I would get the brisket sandwich again if I went back. Order on the Disney app and pick up for a quick and filling meal. Also lots of tables so can usually find seating read more

We have eaten here like three times but no longer as each visit has gotten worse. It started good and now it is small inedible portions at expensive prices. The smoked bbq foods are smothered in sauce to the point of being oversauced in taste. Most recently, we got a Wedge Salad with chicken and it was in no way a wedge salad. We can get a double the size portion at our local fave and have leftovers for less money. The wait time was excessive for what was ordered and the CMs seemed unusually unhappy to be here ( I was a CM so I know when one is not happy).
