Korean Barbecue
Chin L.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and tried the barbecue option--great selection of meats and desserts. The service was fast, the restaurant clean, and the staff friendly. Plenty of seating available. I was surprised to hear from the waitress that they're closing soon due to low traffic. A shame, because it's truly a great spot with excellent service.

Date: 04/2025 Rating: 2.5 RESTAURANT: Parking is ample. At the entrance, you will find brightly lit claw machines with cute toys. They definitely try to appeal to the younger generation, especially with their selection of bubble teas. Inside the dining area, it's actually not very big. They have a large wall projection or screen that sets the scene of the restaurant. There are also long counters of food options separated by hot pot and bbq category, including a sauce area and ice cream freezer. The place is clean, the food area was also spotless. The restrooms are clean and well stocked. SERVICE: The service was great. The ladies were nothing but accommodating. They were nothing like many Asian restaurant with cranky aunties rushing you or just being rude. We had about three different servers and they were all pleasant with smiles on their faces. They answered our questions and was always there with pitchers of water ready to refill our cups. They want us full fast. lol. They were swift to bring our orders and declutter our table. And when the bill arrived, one of them took the time to let us know that since there were 6 of us, that the tip/service fee was already included in the bill. And when we split the check in two, she took the time to remind us again of the included tip which just made me appreciate her honesty and we ended up giving them extra tip. I also have to mention my personal favorite part of their service, which was located inside the women's restroom. They had a cart full of products for women to use. I am talking about mouth wash with cups, floss, lotion, hand sanitizer, and pads. The sign they have addressed their female costumers as "sister"....something like "Sisters, please enjoy the products and use as much as you need." Very sweet. FOOD: The HOTPOT: The selections of vegetables, meats, seafood and other toppings were endless. They even had jelly fish, frog legs, sliced hearts. The sauce counter was just as enormous! Our family ordered the pork bone broth and miso broth. Everything was delicious. The DIMSUM: The selections was impressive. So we ordered our favorite dim sum items first. The first round, right off the bat, and for lack of a better word, were sad. They plates were small...5 measly rings of calamari, 5 pieces of sad looking chicken nuggets...I was put off by this instantly. But, I realized this is a buffet. Perhaps they don't want people to be wasteful, and we could always order more. Yeah...no...the plated items kept coming and they were just not good. I've been eating authentic dim sum for years and I am next door to one of the best dim sum restaurant in South Miami next to my job so I eat them more frequently than I ought to be, so my point is...I know. This is just our opinion on the dim sum dishes NO.....spring roll, cheese wonton, shrimp ball with cheese, sesame balls, phoenix claws, taro crystal puff. The spring roll tasted like its from a frozen bag. Sesame ball barely had sesame on the outside and bean on the inside. The chicken feet are my favorite...but not these. These were in halves so basically we were given a foot and a half...and since they were sliced half they had sharp long pieces of bones which could be a potential lawsuit, but it also tasted fishy...The rest just did not taste right. When we were thinking something was a dessert, it would be salty or have no taste. And the same goes with something salty and savory, it would turn out to be sweet. It was like a mind trick. OK......rice cake, pork and shrimp shumai, vegetable with oyster sauce, egg yolk bun, bun with red bean paste, shrimp dumplings, lava bun, pork short rib, egg tart..These were edible, not so much enjoyable. The veggie was lackluster, shumai was not what we were used to, I like the salted yolk but it gets gamey sometimes. The egg tart would've have been the dessert of the night but it arrived with barely any custard in it so it was mostly dry...and had it not been reheated several times, the flakey outside would've have been amazing. YES....Steamed items! Soup dumplings, BBQ pork buns, sticky rice wrap, pan fried pork bun, salt and pepper squid..We like pretty much everything that came in the bamboo steamer. The all agreed that the best dim sum of was the soup dumplings, we ordered several of those. They are small but the broth and flavor is there. They sticky rice had a small egg yolk and piece of sausage and had a nice flavor. The squid tasted like it was freshly prepared. The takoyaki is also not bad. Overall, this experience was not as amazing as I thought it would be. A place that have 3 of my favorite things, hot pot, bbq and dim sum I was really looking forward to this. However, the dim sum really fell short. The price point is a bit higher than Volcano and Kpot. Under 5 ft, it's half off. Service charge with groups over 5 people. It's a splurge but focus on the hotpot and bbq.

It was a lot and overwhelming we did the dimsum, bbq and hotpot and our eyes were bigger than our tummy!

The food was surprisingly really good for a Buffet. Including the Dim Sum was a bonus. The hot pot and KBBQ selection was awesome! Our server was super nice and ALL the employees seem eager to please. Will definitely be coming back.

Bean curd just ok

Went for their AYCE dim sum and har gaw was ok, ribs was ok with a lot of peanuts underneath. Some of the dishes that came out didn't look like the pictures at all they had us choose from. Not a big deal but the taste wasn't there like the authentic dim sum. Overall most dishes was just frozen mediocre dim sum. $37 is not a bad price if the dishes taste good but I will try again in the future.

Really good Chinese donuts. Very crispy

Very good all you can eat experience, satisfied my whole family. Husband and my older daughter enjoyed the dim sum very much. Me and my younger girls were very happy with the hot pots. We were surprised by many dishes. The Chinese donuts were very good. The rice cake with brown sugar dessert was supper yummy, and many dim sum dishes were very good too. We thought we can try the grill too, but after the dim sum and hot pot, we were all stuffed :)))

Great service with such a friendly server. The variety of food is quite large with options for all you can eat hot pot, bbq, and dim sum. There is a bar where you can grab all your raw foods for the hot pot and bbq as well as a small dessert bar. If you want variety, this is the place to be!

Amazing Service and Delicious Food. AYCE Dimsum, Hotpot and BBQ Loved the shrimp dumpling, steamed BBQ pork bun and the sesame balls. The pork bone broth was really good.

Absolutely delicious and wonderful service! We came in on a Saturday during brunch to try the dim sum and didn't disappoint. The soup dumpling and the Lava buns were my favorite must try! I also tried the TomYum broth base for the hot pot and it was delicious definitely give this place a try.

Great Service and Yummy Food. Plenty to choose from. Whether you're hungry for Hot Pot, BBQ, Dim Sum.

The spicy soup is super good. The cold dishes are tasty, especial the chicken feet. Unlimited snow crab is amazing.

Great food , delicious...definitely come again

Everything came out fresh, hot, and packed with flavor, and the portions were really generous. The shrimp dumplings, pork buns, shumai, and beef chow fun were all amazing, and it honestly reminded me of some of the better dim sum places you'd find in bigger cities. What I like most is that it feels authentic without trying to cater too hard to trends. It has that classic family-style Chinese restaurant atmosphere where the focus is really on the food. Service was quick, the staff kept everything moving smoothly even when it got busy, and the overall experience felt genuine. If you're looking for authentic dim sum in Orlando, this is definitely one of the top places to go. Great spot for sharing a bunch of dishes with friends or family and trying a little bit of everything. I'll definitely keep coming back whenever I'm craving good dim sum.

Everyone is friendly but not overly nice The restaurant vibe is what you would expect from a mom and pop spot...take that as you will. It hasn't stopped me from eating there and the food is always fantastic and fresh. Chicken Lo Mein - nice thin noodles, real chicken, fresh veggies Chicken Fried Rice - lots of egg and chicken and some veggies General Tso's chicken - my 8 year old's favorite - we got no spice Sui Mai - includes pork and shrimp - big and juicy Shrimp and Chive - my wife's favorite - it's just delicious Seafood dumplings - not sure all the seafood but also awesome Pan fried pork potstickers- for my older son cause he has shellfish allergies Appetizer portion of Roast duck - super tender, great flavor, crispy skin Appetizer portion of Pork Belly - it's pork belly...enough said Sesame balls - these are more of a dessert, not overly sweet but a nice finish to the meal Lastly we tried something new...the turnip dumplings which were small squares of turnip paste?? That are fried and tossed in something spicy - these were awesome! Definitely adding into the rotation. Overall this place is awesome and worth a try!!

Every weekend when we went to the farmers market they always have a large line and people would be walking away with multiple dishes. But trust me, it's worth it! They are cooked right on the spot and are delicious. Biggest Advice? Order more ahead of time because they sell out fast and the lines are always long. I went the traditional route with getting a pork dumpling and I was not disappointed. It was fried perfectly on one side and had that steamed effect on the other. There is a selection of different sauces to add to them on the table, such as sriracha sauce, soy sauce and sweet thai chili sauce. I chose sweety thai chili sauce because I like the sweet, zesty kick it gives which was a great compliment to the food. It was only $6 for 4 decently sized dumplings which wasn't bad. I'll be back to try the other flavors next time!!

I was craving Tasty Wok (again) & decided to order 2 more dishes that I haven't had in years…read more Mandarin Egg Tofu With House Sauce Fish Filet with Black Bean Sauce These 2 dishes are HOUSE SPECIALTIES so that means they are known to be unique dishes and delicious. Mandarin Egg Tofu - Egg tofu is very delicious and is similar to silken tofu consistency and this dish is delicious. It has pork strips, enoki mushrooms , mini corn, snap peas, green onions. The egg tofu is fried first and once you bite into it its very tender and silky smooth texture and kind of creamy. This is my favorite tofu. The house sauce is a big brown based sauce. The snap peas seemed a little overcooked losing its bite and crunchy texture nonetheless still a memorable delicious dish. This would be a great vegetarian dish if you opt out the pork strips, Fish Filet with Black Bean Sauce - This is usually served or listed on the menu as a rice plate dish. I usually eat this dining in and its a delicious plate entree. They use Swai filets for this dish. For $1 extra you can order it as a dish with rice on the side and you get more fish filets etc separate. This is a lightly battered fish filets fried and topped with house brown sauce with slithers of onions and red / green bell peppers. Of course the brown sauce is black bean sauce so you will see speckles of black beans with the sauce. There are ginger notes as well when you devour this dish. The fish filets are cooked perfectly so soft and tender. The rice served here can be better imo. Perhaps better brand or grain rice? Also ordered my regulars ; Walnut Shrimp, Beef Chow Fun. Walnut Shrimp - Request ordering this (take out only) having the broccoli stored separately. This provides the shrimp dish to not be soggy. I think you get more shrimps this way too. Tasty Wok's walnut shrimp is by far the best in orlando imo - they really seasoned the shrimp itself prior to dressing it with their creamy sauce. The sauce has a tad sweetness to it & some sort of umami. The shrimps are jumbo large sized. You get about 10-12? Shrimps in this dish. I have had my share of tasting this dish at different restaurants and by far Tasty Wok's is by far my favorite. Beef Chow Fun - Another favorite from Tasty Wok. Wok Hei present, Tender seasoned beef thinly sliced, and Tender wide noodles. It was under seasoned salt wise but eating it with their creamy sauce seasoned beef makes up for it. Again, ate my share of Beef Chow Fun at many restaurants and by far Tasty Wok's have been my favorite thus far. They offer free mini tubs of chili oil upon request. Also chopsticks. Tasty wok do not seem busy dining in but they are busy with take out orders.

The staff were friendly and prompt. We came around late lunch and it was picking up after we were seated. The space is wide and has the old traditional Chinese restaurant aesthetics with a slight modernization. You can see all the crispy meats hanging at the front counter like a traditional shop. We ordered the Shrimp Wonton Soup with Egg Noodles. My go-to for comfort food. I've been a customer since college days and they make one of the best shrimp wontons. I know they've tweaked the recipe a little since the shrimp filling used to be ground up, which was better, but it didn't take away from the freshness. The broth is consistently flavorful with fresh greens and egg noodles. I somehow like the texture of the noodles more than the spaghetti size ones. We ordered the Crispy pork Belly and Duck combo which is really well seasoned. Some bites may be a little salty but it balances out with the rice. You can hear the crunch on the pork belly which is my favorite. We also got the Beef Chow Fun. It's wide noodles and cooked with scallions, beansprouts, and white onions. It was cooked over a flame so you can taste a hint of a char which is not overwhelming or greasy. It's the perfect balance to all the items. What I didn't order was the Water Spinach but it is one of my favorite vegetable dishes. You have to try it when it's available! I had hot tea with it and lots of hot chili oil in my dishes! I am happy they have remained pretty consistent in the dishes. Only on a couple occasions it was off but not many times. There's a small parking lot and plenty of street parking. They share it with other popular spots like Haan Coffee, Sampaguita, etc.

My absolute go-to (and forever favorite) is the Tom Yum broth -- it's rich, aromatic, and packed with that perfect balance of sour, spicy, and savory. I love customizing it the way I grew up enjoying Thai hot pot by adding extra mushrooms, tomatoes, chili peppers, cilantro, green onions, garlic, and a squeeze of lime juice. The flavor becomes even brighter and so comforting -- seriously next level. The ingredient selection is another huge win.
