I always love their pepperoni pizza, not too greasy and just the right amount of pepperoni. Also tried their supreme which was just as good!

Whether you want to build your own or try one of their unique house creations, every bite is loaded with flavor. Pair that with an awesome, well-curated tap list and friendly service, and it easily becomes one of our favorite spots. Highly recommend!

Since they do not take reservations, we stopped by early hoping to get on a waitlist. The hostess was super helpful and gave us a realistic recommendation on the best time to return when we would have a fighting chance at getting seated together. Honest AND strategic... we appreciated that! Of course as the number in our party dropped it helped, just saying! Currently only the downstairs dining area is open, but once seated, service moved quickly and the food came out fast. We ordered ravioli appetizers that apparently entered the witness protection program and never made it to the table due to a communication mix-up. Honestly, I am blaming one of our table mates for that one and not the server. Now for the important part... the cheesy breadsticks were AMAZING. Like "everyone suddenly gets quiet at the table" amazing. We shared several pizzas, and while both that I tried were delicious, the Carnivore pizza definitely won my personal pizza championship over the Meet Me in Weston. Bonus points for the crust options available too! Overall, great atmosphere, friendly staff, quick service, and really good pizza. We will absolutely be back... but next time we are putting someone in charge of ravioli accountability. Even better if they would take reservations as very few restaurants in Weston do!

Delicious! We ordered two pizzas and a Caesar salad. The Carne pizza and the La Rughetta pizza (we…read moreadded balsamic glaze and goat cheese). Here's the run down, the crust was thin, but still had a soft chew, which was the perfect bite every time. The Carne pizza had plenty of meat with an excellent tomato sauce. This is a crowd pleasing pizza pie. I'm a sucker for prosciutto and goat cheese so when Hannah, our waitress, recommended adding the goat cheese and balsamic glaze to our pizza, I absolutely did. This was a smart move. The hubby and I opted to share the Caesar salad while we waited on the pizzas. The timing of the pizzas was perfect as we had just finished our salad. The staff was friendly and kept busy. Our drinks were refilled timely and they checked on us without being interruptive. Since yelp likes when we share tips, here's one, they have an awesome happy hour menu with great pricing. Super excited, we found our pizza spot!

My work colleagues and I got sat and were informed of a long wait as there was only one server - cool. No problem. It happens. We are sitting about 20 minutes when a table of 8 gets sat next to us. The cook immediately came from behind the counter to bring water for them. We were still sitting there with nothing. Our server came over - apologized and got our orders and brought out our drinks. Our salads came out and all was well. Then we waited and waited. We were informed that one of the potato pizzas we ordered couldn't be made because they were out of potatoes. No big deal. We changed the order. Then the group next us - who came in 20 minutes after us and ordered after us all got served their pizzas(including a few potato pizzas). While we waited and was not served. Finally realizing that our diverse group of 5 was being shafted for the very non-diverse group of 8 we asked for our pizzas to go and we left. So if the intention of Il Lazzarone was to make us feel sidelined and "othered" - congratulations. Job well done. Because we left there being reminded of just how how bigotry feels. The pizzas was still great in my hotel room. But you will never see a recommendation from me or dime of my money again.

We had to wait for about 20 minutes for a table, but it went quick. We were sat with the best server that kept our water glasses full and checked on us regularly. I checked out the menu and decided to go with the spinach lasagna and minestrone to start. If I would have known how large the soup was I would have just gone with the lasagna! The minestrone was very healthy on the tomato, but topped with tons of vegetables! It was pipping hot, so it made it difficult to eat right away. Once it cooled down it was so delicious! This was not your canned Minestrone soup! So full of flavor and not super salty. I could have just had this as a meal, so I tried to save some room for my spinach lasagna. Wow and wow and wow! Again a very large portion that did not skip on flavor or seasoning. Every bite was so amazing! I only got a few bites in before my stomach told me to stop! I did manage to try my uncle's seafood pasta which was super rich and heavy; but again super flavorful. I liked that the portions were generous, but they did not skip on the seasoning. Again I see why this is a favorite! I will be back when I am in the area again!! A must!!

The menu had some fun specials like the Luigi and the OBG, and if you leave hungry after ordering one of those, that is on you! The pasta was tasty, although it looked like spaghetti had been promoted to "Employee of the Month" and assigned to just about every dish. They also have a nice bar area and a small outdoor patio that would be a great spot to enjoy a meal when the weather cooperates. Now, the service... the tables around us got the fresh-ground pepper and grated cheese treatment. We just sat there wondering if we had accidentally ordered the "self-serve" package. By the time our food arrived, the plates were hot enough to suggest they had enjoyed a little extra vacation under the heat lamp, and my shrimp had definitely spent a few extra minutes on that journey. With restaurant prices these days, I always ask myself one question: "Could I make this at home?" If the answer is yes, then the service and overall experience have to make dining out worth it. What about you? What makes dining out for you? Overall, I am not sure I would go back for the pasta, but I would absolutely give Luigi's another shot for the pizza. They looked delicious coming out of the kitchen, and we are always on the hunt for a great Italian pie. Who knows... maybe the pizza is where Luigi really shines!
