Well let me start off with the fact they are over an hour away from our home. Considering they have ruined us on any and all other burger and fries, it might become a habit. Husband had the Blackberry Bacon and Blue Cheese Burger. I do not on the norm like blackberries, but on this!!!! The blackberries sweetness stands against the strong overpowering blue cheese and they meld well to make a wonderful tasting combo. I ordered There Goes My Gryo.....how did they get a freaking lamb burger, a very lean meat be that juicy!?!? I dont know but with the peppers, tomato and onion made a fresh hamburger, might be good with some kalamata olive....but I am not complaining. It was delicious. I am picky on my fries and usually dont eat the full amount restaurants serve. I had to stop myself. They are more like a shoestring but not hard or crunchy. Seasoned wonderfully! My suggestion you go in there with a big appetite, grab lots of napkins and be ready to devour the best burger you've ever had!

Looks like a very popular music venue as well. Unfortunately, too early for that. It was hopping at 1:45 for lunch and filled with regulars. The fantastic bartender, Jerry, shouts out a greeting to everyone who walks in and hustles to make sure everyone is taken care of QUICKLY! The menu was perfect for a delicatessen with standard choices of turkey, pastrami, tuna salad, soups and specialty beef brisket sandwiches. The prices are more than fair with the delicious pastrami sandwich coming with a sufficient amount of meat and quality bread for the great price. You can add additional meat for a small charge. It's nice to have a sandwich that isn't is more than you can eat and twice the price. I had the homemade chicken and wildrice soup which was also delicious filled with chunks of white chicken meat. We topped it off with a slice of Magoons famous cheese cake which did not disappoint! The atmosphere is eclectic with booths that have heard many stories over the years, a great bar with plenty of seating and unique antiques. Whether stopping by to check out the Pony Express or Jesse James museum, or living in the area Magoons is definitely worth a stop.

One of the employees asked if I was there for a pick up order and my name, she said it's not ready yet and it will be a few minutes. I waiting for 30 minutes while they assisted walk in customers ordering their sandwiches and picking them up and leaving all while they weren't completing the online orders. Approximately 20 people went through the line and were able to receive their orders at that time. My order did not get completed until I asked a second time when my order would be ready. This was ridiculous, why place an online order when it would be more timely to order in person, this was horrible customer service by the manager in charge. I finally received my order at 5:35pm...... ridiculous!

The broccoli soup is slightly watery, but great flavor. The atmosphere was cozy and welcomed long conversations. A major plus? The space can be rented by the hour. They also allow outside food/drink. Unheard of , but greatly appreciated. We used it for them for an event today, and were so overwhelmed by the owners/staff. Very accommodating and easy to work with.
