My husband's mushroom and Swiss double burger was hot and fresh. The WI Swiss melt (single) burger was really great! I loved the rye bread and grilled onions and hot fresh beef. I'll get that again for sure. It was probably the best burger I've had here. The dish of flavor of the day was delicious--caramel pecan. The pecans were so crunchy and slightly salty. So yummy. Be careful if using your bank card to pay. I was charged twice for same order. Day manager refused to refund me unless I showed her my bank account which I did and then she wanted my card again. In keeping with the theme, I ordered the cheddar bacon butterburger. Because I try to eat healthy, I went with the single patty. Now, for the uninitiated, Culver's uses the thin hamburger patty, which I prefer in a fast-food setting. And my burger was good. My party shared an order of the fried cheese curds (a delicious invention, but over-battered here), onion rings (best fast food onion rings I think I've ever had), and fries (crinkle fries... ok, but I'm sticking with the onion rings). While I have enjoyed Culvers food in the past it would appear that they have decided not to give the customer the food they deserve for the price they charge. Today we went through the drive thru. When we arrived home and prepared to eat my girlfriends tenderloin was over cooked and looked like it was sitting under a heat lamp for hours. My butter burger was completely wrong and smashed flat. Worse experience ever i ordered a bacon deluxe cheeseburger got a deluxe no bacon and when I went back about the bacon, she said you want us to just ad bacon or make it fresh I said fresh and they gave me the same burger with cold uncooked bacon. Returned once again and they said they wouldn't do anything to fix situation but send me coupons. That is all I can do when asked for the franchise manager information she refused to give it. I apologize--I'm just not a burger person--and that's pretty much all they serve. They have a few salads but wasn't enticed to try em. Place was packed for a Sunday so some people must like em. We have eaten at this restaurant several times and this was one of the best. I had the two piece chicken value meal and my wife had a concrete mixer. I think Culver's chicken is one of the best in town and certainly the best fast food chicken. Fries were freshly cooked this time, excellent.
