The burger and the cheese nuggets and rings and pork tenderloin were fabulous. We were heading to a party where ice cream was being served so we skipped that... But next time I think we'll again divert off the interstate and come here to sample the frozen treats... They looked so good. We were slightly ahead of the Sunday lunch folk so only a few of us here. I ordered a double cheese burger with bacon and i got the smallest and flattest tiny buger you have ever seen! The fries were crunchy like i like them but tasted like burnt oil and my fried mushrooms were so greasy that they disgusted me! i threw the food away! I have been here for 8 years and have driven by their restaurant on Saint Joe avenue daily while going to and from work! I had always meant to take my family there but am now glad i didnt as I am very disappointed at the food! Just proves that just because you have the nicest building in the dilapidated area of town doesnt mean you have good food! Also there was only 2 cars in line in front of me but yet it took my 15 minutes to get my food! read more

Went to the St. Joe street Cabana's for ice cream tonight and seems we got the wrong order! I was supposed to have dirt and works hurricane and ended up with sprinkles, vanilla ice cream and I think brownie pieces or fruit not sure but it's not pleasant at all! My boyfriend ended up with some concoction of chocolate ice cream and mini chocolate chips in his and he was to have the chocoberry hurricane! The only one right was the kid cup for the pup and she loved it! Just was really disappointed because we made a special trip especially for that ice cream bc I have never had it before! read more

There hamburgers are literally see through! Thinnest hamburger I have EVER seen. I wouldn't even be able to feed it to my dog because it's so thin he wouldn't even see it. All you can take is condiments and pickles. Makes no since that they have different Size patties For different burgers. I understand length size but shouldn't be smaller weight size! if you want a bigger sandwich ADD MORE TOPPINGS. This hamburger was a disgrace. read more

Well it's a fast food place and you can't really go wrong with icecream! Cabana is a popular summer spot, I always notice a line if I drive by. My brother and I went and got sundaes in the drivethru. They were cheap and pretty classic! Cabana's has a lot of toppings that you can choose from to create your own Sunday or blizzard. Who doesn't like ice cream and candy!? They did mess up our order a bit though.... I got cookie dough instead of caramel on my sundae and my brother had some random nuts in his cup? (Good thing he wasn't allergic!). The drive thru moved slow but we didn't order food so I'll have to edit my review if I end up getting something other than ice cream from there! read more

Terrible sanitation and the owner was potentially paying off the health inspector. My friend used to work there and had to dig gnats out of the ice cream machines and there was regularly mold in the ketchup pumps. When the health inspector came all the employees were told to leave and it was only closed for a day. Eat there at your own risk. read more

They have a decent tenderloin sandwich (especially for a drive thru) and the ice cream is better than DQ. Fries are plentiful but just OK. I usually end up throwing over half away so I stopped ordering them. They get two stars because service is horrible. If there are any cars waiting in the drive thru plan on waiting 20 minutes. If the cars are out to the street just don't pull in. Once you get to the window the staff is usually clueless. They have no training. I've never been in the building but the bathroom is outside by the drive thru window which should tell you something. I don't think the owner really cares. read more

After going on a long walk through the trails around Corby pond for my new exercise regimen that I just started today I figured it was prudent to go for some ice cream to celebrate my renewed dedication to my health. So I drove through Cabana on the avenue to get a cone. When the lady brought my small cone infused with butter pecan flavor burst to the drive-up window for me I was amazed at how tall it was and remarked, "Oh my, I'd forgotten how tall your cones are!" It was huge. She offered to get me a cup so I could turn it upside down in the cup and eat it with a spoon and I said, "No, I can do this," and she said, "I believe in you." I've never felt so understood. They are very encouraging at Cabana. I highly recommend. read more

I am usually a fan of this place, i stopped there last night and ordered a #8 with a sweet tea and onion rings. The onion rings were not fully cooked and tasted awful, and the tea was obviously no brewed/made fresh, because it had a horrible rotten sweet taste to it. We started eating at Cabana Grill over a year ago. They often have great coupons. But the food made and served is always excellent. I am some what of a fast food chain junkie myself. But for the items that Cabana Grill has no fast food chain in Saint Joseph does burgers and sandwiches, fries, and ice cream as well as Cabana. and my wife who frequently does not agree with me on other issues, agrees with my this recommendation. read more
