I chose to get 2 chicken and 1 cheese on my empanada plate, and that ended up being the perfect choice. They were fried fresh and served hot. The dough was crisp and tasty. And while you will find the usual familiar favorites on the menu, you will find a plethora of things not commonly seen in your standard Tex-Mex restaurants. This is a great place if you've wanted to try more authentic food, but aren't quite ready to abandon old familiar favorites entirely. The decor is lively and bright, reminding me so much of places back where I am from. You can tell a lot about a place by the way the staff interacts with one another as well, and there seems to be a strong sense of camaraderie among them. Always clean, the prices are decent and you will not come away hungry. Seriously, for dinner, why bother going to any other place?

Well let me start off with the fact they are over an hour away from our home. Considering they have ruined us on any and all other burger and fries, it might become a habit. Husband had the Blackberry Bacon and Blue Cheese Burger. I do not on the norm like blackberries, but on this!!!! The blackberries sweetness stands against the strong overpowering blue cheese and they meld well to make a wonderful tasting combo. I ordered There Goes My Gryo.....how did they get a freaking lamb burger, a very lean meat be that juicy!?!? I dont know but with the peppers, tomato and onion made a fresh hamburger, might be good with some kalamata olive....but I am not complaining. It was delicious. I am picky on my fries and usually dont eat the full amount restaurants serve. I had to stop myself. They are more like a shoestring but not hard or crunchy. Seasoned wonderfully! My suggestion you go in there with a big appetite, grab lots of napkins and be ready to devour the best burger you've ever had!

I wanted to try the Chile Verde but it wasn't going to be read for another hour, so I went with the Chile Colorado instead, the flavor of the sauce was pretty good. A bit zippy without too much heat to ruin the meal. The beans were about average, as was the rice. I also get the impression that the tortillas are straight out of a grocery store. However after being on the road for six hours, it was a pleasant enough stop. The food wasn't great, nor was it terrible. It was priced just right and the portions are substantial. If I were passing through I would stop here again just due to its being a nice atmosphere to relax in for a bit after being on the road. It's not spectacular, but it beats fast food any day.
