Food was pretty good! I came at 2:00 am after finishing a movie with a coworker. We were pretty hungry, and this was the only place open nearby. I came in and immediately noticed the irregularly sticky floor. After reaching my table, I noticed it was not wiped down and there were crumbs scattered around. Not a huge deal. What i thought was scary was that there was a baby staring at me through the entire stay. Not sure what was up with that little guy! read more

Stopped in after a long road trip. I love Waffle House. They were packed and busy. No open counter space and tables needing to be cleared. A sign said please reserve both for two or more customers, so I waited to see if they would clear any more counter areas. several staff made eye contact. After 3 to 4 minutes. I went ahead and left. The staff looked beat and underpaid. I always tip well and I was very hungry. Going down the road to somewhere that at least greats you when you walk in. Dear manager, do better. Service was fantastic! The cook was not personally satisfied with the quality of my eggs and took it upon himself to make two additional eggs for me without any prompting. I would have been perfectly fine with the eggs he cooked for me, but he wanted to go above and beyond. I commend that! The waitress was very kind and outgoing and always checking to make sure we were satisfied. But not at an overwhelming level of checking-in. The worst! Demetrius needs an attitude adjustment. We asked for a well done waffle and it was the only thing not well done. Bacon was burnt, eggs were cold and dry. To start, it's a Waffle House. Smoky, waitresses with attitudes - but generally friendly, and a diverse clientele of travelers, truckers, homeless, locals and people looking for lots of coffee in a place where they can smoke. We always get a waffle and hash browns. I get mine with cheese, tomato and chili, and 1 over easy egg on the side to set on top. Normally this is one of the greatest meals you can ever have, but here the browns were not as good as normal. They weren't shaped in the standard circle, soft inside, crisp outside, they were flat and wide, so the soft center was missing. Still good, not as good as normal though. Waffle was pretty good too, again not as good as normal. Sweet tea was not that good. Waitresses were pleasant but had attitudes (does that make sense?) and the restaurant was fairly clean. Most of the time, WH gets a 5 star from me, even though I come out smelling like I've been chain smoking for 2 days straight. Not so much here, but still a good bet for a cheap and good breakfast. read more

It's a Waffle House - it's also the first one we hit when driving to Kansas Speedway for the races - from our home in Seattle. I used to only go there after a night of guarding my beer swilling friends in high school, so one shouldn't expect the Ritz. That said, it's good food, at a fair price. Our stop was early afternoon, so the place was empty. I see what other reviews meant about the flies, so they need some no-pest strips but not a Priest. The only thing I can fault them on was that my grits were a bit lumpy. Beyond those two minor issues, everything was fine and I wouldn't dissuade anyone from coming to eat. read more

Under staffed and over worked. That's the feeling I got as the waitress stared at me blankly as I was giving my order. This place seems like it could be doing better but the food actually tastes bad for a waffle house. I usually don't have high expectations for places like this as it's more fitting for an after hours "I just finished drinking and hitting the club" type of eatery but at least I expected some decent food. Nope, I should have visited the McDonalds across the street. The hash browns were under cooked, my eggs were under cooked, my toast was burned, and the only thing I wished they would have gotten right they ruined...my waffle. This is the worst Waffle House I've ever been to. We come in and sit down and are there for 10 mins and no one came to help us. One waitress said, "She'll be with you shortly" and then went over and talked to some man forever. She was the only waitress there, and when we got up to leave she tries to stop us.
