Dr. Fisher is the only doctor that has helped relieve some of my post-surgery spinal fusion pain and bulging disc pain. I was about to give up hope & had told my neurosurgeon to not resuscitate me if my heart stopped during my third spinal fusion because my pain is that bad, but he referred me to Dr. Fisher after & Dr. Fisher has been working on getting me back to work part-time & able to sit & sleep more comfortably & I am so grateful. I have been enduring immature medical assistants for 10 weeks now. Very disappointing. Dr.Pradhu appears compassionate yet hyper fixates about her sales on surgical options. I went through my INS Provider and got a referral to here...BIG MISTAKE.... My referral approval was sent over to thier new patients nurse on a MONDAY @ 3pm.. I had needed to get in ASAP from changing from my OLD Doctor so I called WEDS afternoon SPOKE to referrals department/new patient... Lady had a attitude and said TECHNICALLY we got it "tuesday".. ok who cares.. monday night tues morning... And she said it would be 24-48 hours and Ill hear by thursday... So Thursday (end of the so called 48 hour time to process and call me...as a new patient)...... no call... Friday.. No call, Monday NO CALL... I had to call my GP Doc back and have them change my referral to another doctor. What a WASTE of time the office staff here is. I wonder how they take care of thier patients. If thier CARE of thier patients is like them doing return calls for a NEW Patient then forget it... Thier Care is a waste of time. I probably should have read the reviews 1st.... Dr Fischer and his staff are very caring, listen to you and take what you're experiencing very seriously. I've had many pain doctors dismiss what I'm saying or say something to diminish me. I'm used to the doctors office putting my pain back in me, saying I'm not doing what they're telling me or I'm not taking my medication correctly, etc. You won't get canned answers here nor will you feel like you're bothering them when you call in with questions. I've always received my questions answered within minutes or a few hours. Other offices have you wait 48-72 hours for a call back and they say the doctor will discuss it at your next appointment. I feel Dr. Casey Fisher is an excellent diagnostician and pain solver. Since being thrown from a car in 1969, I have been proactively searching for help with ongoing chronic pain. Dr. Fisher went FAR beyond my former specialists by diagnosing and treating three separate pain generators. And then he reduced my residual chronic pain by 80%! First, sciatic pain. Dr. Fisher was the only doctor to offer treatment for my 3-year sciatic pain. In a 20-minute outpatient procedure he implanted a new device, that none of my other doctors had heard of - The VERTIFLEX (a vertebrae spacer) for moderate spinal stenosis. It has given me total relief for over 3 years. Yahoo! Second, facet joint pain. Since 2007 I have had repeated ablations for two of my low back facet joints. Dr. Fisher suspected I needed more treatment. After two diagnostic injections for each suspected facet joint, he successfully treated NINE. Yesterday I called Dr. Fisher's office for advice on an ovarian cyst that was causing intense pain. With covid I wanted to do anything they recommended before going to the ER. When I tell you every person in that office made me feel truly cared for and valid, it would be an understatement! From the front desk to the medical assistants to the nurse practitioner & doctors! They all went out of their way to make sure I was given advice and were able to get me comfortable so I could ride it out comfortably at home. Dr. Fisher is great at pain management. He really understands both compassionately and knowledgably about how to work with people in tremendous pain. I have been seeing him for 3 years now, and between Dr. Fisher and my Rheumatologist, they have taken me from being suicidal from pain, to enjoying life again, and able to work well in my job and love it again. I just completed my Doctorate and could not have done so without his help and support. He exercises good judgement, is careful when he needs to be, and shows compassion appropriately. He gets going a bit fast sometimes, but will slow down if you ask him to. He really cares, and it shows. He went through some difficult times in the beginning with his staff, and scheduling, etc, but now his office runs like a well oiled machine, and mostly stays right on time. Dr Fisher is knowledgeable, listens well, discusses your concerns and offers many options to better manage your particular pain. He doesnt just hand out meds. He is only at this office two days a week so availability can be an issue, but he shows compassion and interest to his patients. The first time Dr. Casey fisher saw me, I left then I came back and saw his assistant the 2nd time to discuss other treatments for a cortisone shot in the neck from a previous car accident in January 2018. His assistant just by looking at me in a instant he pre judged that i have no pain. He has no idea what my body has been through, Ive a 2 neck surgeries, scoliosis surgery, then i had that auto accident in front of GATE WAY medical plaza in front of Dr. fisher's office! and as of now I am still in pain. there are no other options besides the cortisone shot. AND When my lawyer asked for my last medical record/visit report that didn't help my case. To be honest who the hell does that assistant think he is? he can just guess that Im ok and not in pain, My Lawyer was trying to receive medical records from Dr. Fisher's office and she was sent on a WILD GOOSE CHASE receptionist/ office managers not returning voicemails, not getting back to her, making up excuses until after months she had results. it was jus such a headache, and it took about you can say almost about 2 years now. I have had ongoing back pain issues for many years. I found Dr. Fisher to be a breath of fresh air! He is an excellent diagnostician and provides state of the art procedures of which I have received. First, I had been told by other doctors my sciatic pain and bilateral numbness was NOT spinal stenosis. Dr. Fisher put my symptoms above the MRI and typical screening tests and suggested a new device at that time - The Vertiflex. I returned to my prior doctors and they were unaware of it and wished me luck. A 20 minute implant procedure and in a short time my sciatic pain disappeared! Later, the Vertiflex was purchased by Boston Scientific and is gaining in usage. 2) I have had several lumbar facet nerve ablations in the past at the L3/4-L4/5 which helped a lot but still had many remaining symptoms.
